Absolutely dreadful food! The ‘curries’ taste like cheap tomato soup with some spice powder added. Stale onions served with the popadoms. Rice never turned up. As per previous review and despite arguing it with them, the Balti is NOT a balti. The butter chicken is NOT butter chicken. I was told by the manager that ‘this is what British people want’. Pretty offensive to be honest having grown up eating British curries for the last 50 years, I know what a good one is. I’m told they are getting a new chef soon. Can’t recommend eating here until significant changes have been made.

Just visited the restaurant and explained that I could not eat dairy. The management (apparently new) went out of their way to accommodate me. The food was delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

We went to this lovely restaurant last night. All of the staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. They even moved our table to infront of the roaring fire because I was cold. The food was exceptional, we will be back very soon.

Being of Indian origin myself, one of the things I tend to do before embarking on a full meal at a new-to-me Indian food establishment, I get a portion of takeaway samosas first. For me, it's my own gauge of how good, or bad, the rest of their offerings could be. On this particular day, I ordered two portions, one for myself and one for my partner. That's a total of six samosas, with two tubs of 'mint based sauce'. Total price; £9.50 After picking them up, we walked home (20 mins) and opened the takeaway bag up to what can only be described as sheer disappointment. The samosas themselves were greasy and absolutely tiny (roughly business card sized) and made with the thinest filo pastry you could get. They looked anemic. As we chose vegetable samosas, they were filled with a mix of diced spicy potatoes and peas. The potatoes were half-cooked and not well cooked through with the spices at all. The 'mint sauce' they supplied to go with the samosas was the exact same colour, taste and consistency of melted vanilla icecream. For the price, I was expecting something even half decent. It was nowhere near. I actually kicked myself for going in there in the first place. It's very rundown and shabby both on the outside and inside, which in itself shows the owners aren't too bothered about presenting themselves as a decent eaterie. As we have a lack of Indian restaurants in this area, the only way I would go back in is if they cleaned their place up and got a decent chef in place. Until then, not a chance.
