Delicious food delivered just when I was getting hungry

This was an excellent meal. Superb ingredients, large portions and delivered hot by a very pleasant young man. Would highly recommend.

The food was good. We enjoyed it but when first ordered we 7pm said would be delivered by 8.10 which soon changed to 8.10-8.25. It arrived just after 9pm! The kids were overtired by then and hardly ate anything which was a shame as they were very hungry

Rubbish company food ok but used to use like but twice partner ordered online they say payments hasn't gone through it has as came out of partners account, so we go to collect the food has not been put in we show them payment then they put us out food in ages late. They make out your a criminal then the money goes to them they deny it's anything to do with them via KUKD.com ! Absolutely useless terrible it would be best you go order go else where. Crap won't ever use again!

My boyfriend ordered chicken tikka, special rice and sag aloo. All of it was very salty, and gave him food poisoning for two days, he is still recovering. Never order from them again

This is a takeaway/delivery service. We booked a delivery which was late. Not a problem as we accept there may be issues. When the meal when arrived it was very disappointing. Luke warm at best. Chilli garlic prawns was full of onion and sweet pepper barely any prawns. Chicken Jahlfrezi as above vegetable wise. Flavour was nice but far more onions and peppers than prawns or chicken. Chapatis were cold and hard in the centre and virtually inedible. Unfortunately we will not be buying again.

What a great place this is,have been having takeaway deliveries for some 7years and can honestly say we have never been disappointed,the food is alway excellent and the delivery staff are second to none,was very sad to hear that they were shutting down but have now heard they are carrying on which is brilliant news,this is by far the best restaurant ever.well done Saffron

Excellent currys. Been having takeaway every Saturday night for about 15yrs but I'm hearing rumours it's closing down. It cannot be lack of business as their always busy, difficult to get through a lot of the time. Anyone else hearing rumours

I ordered from here in May. Delivery was quick and the driver was friendly. The food was delicious but arrived a bit cold, other than that, perfect

This was the best Indian takeaway we have ever had. It arrived piping hot and every dish was superb. It's a shame lots of old reviews have been left with negative ratings and comments as things have obviously been turned around. We all can't rate it highly enough now!!

We normally don’t have a problem ordering from here but tonight we were so hungry as it was late and it was cold.

Food delivered too early and, because we weren't ready, the food went cold and meal was rushed. Delivery driver told me they were "banging them out" to customers so we weren't the only ones. Debatable as to whether or not we had the right dish and garnish for the onion bhaji was missing. First and last time we will be using Saffron.

Aubergines not cooked, poor taste,threw away. Pilau tasteless. Mint sauce missing. Meal quite late. Very unusual for them!

We always order from here although the other Indian restaurants in the area are good IMO this is the best. I have seen some reviews saying the delivery is to long so 1 star (I think this is unfair) and would suggest ordering a bit earlier if you are desperate to eat before a set time. They have always given me an honest time for delivery but on busy evenings it can be up to an hour. When the food is good sometimes you have to wait a little while.

Ordered at 1730, took 30 mins. Curry, Biryani and samosas all lovely. As my 88 year old dad said, they are consistently good, and he knows his currys!

Our 2nd meal from this establishment. We don't order in very often but we do like a good curry and this certainly fits the bill. Absolutely brilliant service and delicious food! Our only comment would be to amend the menu listing for onion Baji, as it seems like you're ordering just one, so you order what you think is two singular, and you end up with 7 or 8. Let's just say amazing value 🤣 thank you for a lovely meal, we will absolutely use again.

Consistently the best curry for delivery in Billingshurst. Always quicker than they say they will be, hot food and truly delicious. I've no idea where the negatives come from, but we have never had a bad curry from here.

Never had any issues with the food, we've always enjoyed it. Delivery has also been very good and on many occasions has been early.

I cancelled the order. Even after chasing them they said it would be 45mins late and it still didn’t turn up So I called the restaurant and cancelled the order.

Ordered butter chicken, chicken massala keema nan and steamed rice. It was new years eve so lots of orders for them to deal with. I collected from the shop and the staff were very polite. Food was nice and tasty. The chicken massala was ok but had quire a fruity taste. Still nice though. First time here and will use it again.

My order came on time but 4/5 was missing

Ordered a Friday night curry online for myself and my husband, never had a curry from here before, but decided to give them a go, only live five minutes away, got the curry home and dished up straight away, all of it was stone cold, and I mean stone cold!!! After microwaving it all, it was very salty and not very nice, will never order from them again, total waste of money. TERRIBLE.

Was hoping for more then 4 pieces of chicken in my korma apart from that was awesome.

Bits of order missing and when I called the Norestaurant was made to feel stupid for asking where it was as it was only small things I didn’t pay much for.

They just add cheap butter to a chicken korma and call it butter chicken. Admitted it when I called them. Just don’t sell it if you can’t make it.

First low rated review from me for these guys, which is a shame as they're normally so good! Food arrived early (very early!) compared to the estimated time and the curries were actually lukewarm/cold, which I thought was a bit odd as they're so local. Cooked through and at a reasonable cost. Filling, and taste wise, all good. The early service and the fact they were pretty much cold was the let down here. Will use again as 9/10 meals have been perfect all the times before.

This excellent and very popular open kitchen restaurant, specialise in takeways and are the best in the area, with their varied and original choice of dishes.

Unfortunately two items did not register on our order, despite being ordered by two separate people and I had to reorder

On 2 occasions recently our takeaways have taken more than 2 hrs to arrive to us. On ordering we were told it would take an hour! The journey time to us is under 15 minutes so very disappointing we have had to wait a massive 2hrs 15 minutes for a simple takeaway. We called to complain and were offered a 50% refund but never received this. The menu is now in the bin as we wont be using them again.

Forgot some rice but called up and they were really good about it came straight back and gave free popadoms. Would recommend 100%

Food was cold and they were missing my drink

The food is very tasty and lasts me two days (mixed grill)..The pilau rice is spot on.If I were an ancient Egyptian I would insist in a pot of it in my tomb for the afterlife!!

Ordered for 6.55, they confirmed it then moved to 7:15. Current 7:45 and been sat here waiting. No food, no indication. Of when I’ll get it. No free poppadoms or anything. Not even an apology.

Order arrived over 30 mins late and when it did arrive it was warm at best and had an item missing that could of been excused but when we rang to raise the issue we were met with a poor apology and then when we said what could be done to sort said issue we were promised our missing item within 10 mins for it just to take a further 35-40 mins wich at that time we had eaten our order NOT HAPPY AT ALL

Amazing curry’s 10/10 would recommend chicken nilgri, you won’t be disappointed.

food was appalling, Indian breads were bought from Tescos and reheated not cooked in a tandoori oven ! curries were tasteless, butter chicken had never seen butter in its life pakora batter tasted like fish and chip batter - will never order again from this place

Incomplete order, food was burnt, rude staff when I called the restaurant. I’m never coming back here again

The food was tasty but it arrived 45 minutes later than it was supposed to. We ordered at 6.25pm and it was expected at 7.20pm it didn’t arrive until 8.05pm. We did phone the restaurant twice in which they said it would be another 5-10minutes.

Saffron food is always delicious, but it was delivered over an hour early so was stone cold by the tine we were ready to eat, and then we found an item was missing. We have used saffron many times before and the food is lovely, but today’s experience was very disappointing.
