The best restaurants serving Indian food in Forest Heath East of England

Another lovely evening at Kala sheep. We took a friend who’d not been before and she was very impressed by the quality and amount of food you got. The banquet is such great value for money and so good to try different dishes. Food was outstanding as always, front of house staff attentive and knowledgeable. We look forward to returning again very soon.

Incredible food - the curries were some of the most flavoursome we had ever had. The Malabar Lamb Shank was soooo good! The value for money felt good too.

Place is nice and well presented. Menu different to the indians i tend to go to. The food game fast enough after poppedom starter. good quality and enjoyed. Main - ordered jalfrezi extra hot, burnt ginger and chilli rice. Garlic nan. Honestly it wasnt the best curry i have had looked the part but all dishes lacked in flavour for me. Nan was light and looked amazing just lacked the garlic taste. Filled a hole but just needed abit of spice and a stronger flavour and would have been great. Wouldnt return im afraid as the prices are on upper end and lacked the flavour.

Just had a meal here for my partners birthday it was the first time sitting in as we normally takeaway and it was absolutely beautiful, cooked really well, good portions & really friendly staff, would highly recommend & would definitely go back!! Thank you :)

Visited with a group of friends on a Saturday night, restaurant was very busy but service and Food as good as always, Best Indian and all friends was very happy with food and service. recommend the Lam Bombay and Sag Paneer it was great.

I always get delivery to Armstrong close. The price is cheap and the food is amazing. Always with extra poppadoms and food is fresh and made with love. Onion bhajis are delicious and the free mint sauce is a nice touch. 10/10. Haven’t eaten in but looks like a good space so will do in the future probably to have the food piping hot. Have only had takeaways from here a couple of times but food is always top notch. Didn't give 5 stars only because I haven't eaten in restaurant. If my relatives are to be believed then they would award 5⭐

Absolutely awful I’ve had better microwave curry meals. Was extremely over priced and waited over an hour and the restaurant was empty! I know why. Please don’t eat there save your money and get a microwave meal will be a hell of a lot better and you will not need to remortgage your house. Shocking🤮
