We booked here as we were staying in the B&B & doing some research online I was struggling to find anywhere that we fancied in Fort William. I loved the free warm bread & cold water. Lot's of choice of drinks & a small fresh food menu- perfect! The food was tasty but small ish portions, we were a bit disappointed with the apple crumble for the price but overall had a lovely meal.

We had an excellent meal in the brasserie, the service was very good and the food was delicious. Would definitely go back.

Was recommended to try this cafe for a brunch/lunch. When we arrived it was empty and the lady serving looked like we were a total inconvenience to her. She never cracked a welcome smile or made any attempt at a warm welcome. This made for a poor atmosphere and we felt uncomfortable from the get go. However after what felt like an age (25mins) we eventually received our order, which was ok but for the meager portions totally overpriced. Although must say the coffee was nice. Wouldn't recommend it though and won't be back, which is a shame as often visit Findhorn and hoped this would become a regular stop.

Advertised as a place known for fresh seafood, and French cooking. Not cheap - more than £16 for unremarkable scallops which came with salad leaves and some plain pasta on the side. We could do that back home with really fresh scallops. The crayfish - also more than £16 - was a bigger disappointment. Looked like frozen and dried shrimps which were over cooked till they were tough and tiny. It’s such a pity given that we were willing to give this restaurant a try - there were no other customers in the restaurant.

We might have made a booking to eat here but the woman was so rude, turning her back on us and walking away we thought better of it.Her husband explained they had been busy cooking as if that was an excuse I go to Shetland regulary but will certainly not venture in this place again

Had a wonderful lunch here during a tour bus stop in Beauly. My wife had quiche lorraine and I had a shrimp sandwich, both excellent. The service and ambiance were perfect. This pub is in the Lovat Arms Hotel, which has a connection to Clan Fraser of Outlander fame.

Usually get a takeaway here when we stay at the campsite but after reading the latest reviews was going to go elsewhere this time. The smells coming from the restaurant made us change our mind and so glad we did. Food was excellent as usual. Not the cheapest but certainly not over-priced. When ordering was told would be 20 mins and it was ready in exactly 20 mins. Will not hesitate to visit the next time we are in Grantown-on-spey
