The afternoon tea consisted of savoury starters, fruits & selection of cakes, alongside with coffees - all excellent. The atmosphere & services were splendid. A perfect treat on a cold and foggy November afternoon.

Healthy and beautifully presented food and delightful sweet treats. Highly recomend their sweet potatow/kale/spinach and avocado salad - beats any other in the area! Great sitting outside with bew over Findhorn Bay if weather permits.

Having tried Katalin’s amazing cakes before for a birthday, we were excited to try Torta for the first time. She did not let us down. Her and the rest of her team bake some of the best food you will ever eat. The brownies are ridiculously fudgey and delicious with not too much sugar making it overly sweet. The outdoor seating area has stunning views over the beach and is also dog friendly. The lovely staff will also happily bring out your food for you when it’s ready. Will definitely be back again for more than just cakes and bakes!

I was at Torta today, 17/7/23, for lunch with my granddaughter, and contrary to my review of April '22, when I was delighted with everything about Torta, I was somewhat disappointed today. I ordered the Child's Platter, Cheese & Ham, on white bread, and although the order was accepted, the owner came back to say they had no white, but did have brown, explaining that she hadn't been in at the weekend, and didn't realise the white had run out. However, she did make up a very fresh and lovely small white baguette, that was enjoyed very much. The Platter, according to the menu board, was accompanied by fruit "and" vegetables, not "either or", and when I asked about no vegetables being on the plate, only fruit, I have to say I felt slightly uncomfortable by the puzzled looking response, although, again, the missing veg was replaced by a lovely chopped up apple. I myself had a bacon and egg roll, and specifically asked for the yolk to be soft, but on arrival, it was hard. Again, a replacement was offered, but I did choose to stick with what was served, as it seemed rather a waste to cook yet another egg. The bacon was absolutely delicious, and I did enjoy the roll, but I just felt it was a catalogue of errors, albeit perhaps minor ones, and I did feel rather uncomfortable when I mentioned them. The last straw was when I asked for a slice of Victoria Sponge, which was on the "Today's Cake Choice" board, ony to be told that the last two slices had been sold, and this was just after 12pm? The cafe itself, apart from two other customers was empty when we arrived, and left, and we arrived around 11.15am. As the cafe doesn't open until 10am., I find it a bit strange that a whole Victoria Sponge had gone by then? Sadly, rather disappointed with our visit today, and feel that the staff could be more attentive, rather than the customer having to try to attract their attention if there is a problem. p.s. It would be nice if Diet Coke was provided as an alternative to Coke Zero. :o)

Warmest of welcomes followed by delicious coffee, great music and baked goods to take home for later. If this is a hidden gem it won't be for long. We arrived just after they opened. The smell of fresh baked croissant still in the air. I noticed some tables were reserved so might be worth booking

Walking the Moray Coastal Trail don't miss delightful coffee and cake - we had a new recipe for chocolate brownie with meringue topping! - at Torta Findhorn. Beautiful views out to Findhorn Bay. If we'd been staying longer in the area we would certainly have done justice to their new Supper menus. Don't miss this gem.

Last minute decision to visit. One family member ordered egg/bacon waffles. The waffles were described as dense and tasted ‘shop bought’. Declined to have egg but nil replacement 2 x small pieces of streaky bacon. Coffee average. Staff disinterested. Overall very disappointed.

Although when we went there they had a smaller lunch menu - the food was absolutely lovely. Service was excellent.

We stopped here for coffee and cake with our dog. Great selection of cakes and pastries and lovely, friendly staff. Only just opened so nice to see the place so busy.

Warm and welcoming staff. Attentive, without being intrusive. Lovely food. The breakfast/brunch roll was delicious, as was the Victoria Sponge afterwards. :o) The filling in the sponge was really nice, with smooth buttercream and compote that definiely tasted of local Westerhardmuir strawberries. Cakes in the display cabinet looked lovely, and very tempting. Nice interior, and a lovely situation, with a stunning view of the gorgeous Findhorn Bay. My only, very very slight criticism, and this is just a personal one, is that the volume of the background music could be slightly lower. Highly recommended, and will most definitely return. :o)
