We had the ribeye steak and one of the burgers and it was INSANELY good!! Can't believe how reasonable the price is for such fantastic quality food. Service was fab, they were friendly and chatty and accommodated any requests with the meals. Can't wait to go back soon and try more items on the menu. Definitely a hidden gem in Sheffield!

I regret not taking any picture because I was way too shocked when the food came. Came following recommendations from a work colleague. I knew from the reviews the portion would be massive. But I didn’t expect it to be THAT massive. Like others said it came with free garlic bread and chicken wings (both rather nice). The snails starter came with more garlic bread. I ordered the steak tartare which looked like they tipped a whole pack of supermarket £5 mince meat on a plate. It came with even more garlic bread. To my shock another giant trough of mixed veg arrived (think old fashioned Butlin style roast dinner side veg). We had so much food for two people it couldn’t fit on our table. It genuinely felt like the chef never went to culinary school and had no idea how much food a person consumes. It would have been fine if the food was nice. Partner ordered the duck in orange sauce. We got two giant slaps of duck breast buried in gravy, served on top of…a plate of McCoy crisps. I never thought I’d see something like this outside of a Gordon Ramsey kitchen nightmare show. The duck tasted like that duck in orange sauce dish from a Chinese takeaway. Any pretence of French-ness went out the window at that point. It was a rather nice Chinese takeaway duck though once I stopped pretending it is a £20 main course from a “French” restaurant. The seating was very cramped. Music was too quiet we felt like we had to whisper. It only took cash or bank transfer despite the visa sign on the door. The waitresses were trying their best though. If you are an old fashioned meat and two veg person who has never tried French food, you might enjoy this place. As a foodie who wants to try authentic food I wouldn’t go back.

We arrived on bank holiday monday having booked through using trip advisor. The server didn't know we had booked and there was nobody in the whole place. No Draught, no coke available. 2 seperate men's. One had brasserie 1806 branded, the other a rather colourful burger joint style menu branded with 'Krave'. The food was pretty poor, watery gravy, over expensive curry compared to everything else. £17 for a curry and rice. Just really bizarre. The only positive thing was the barman/server. He was really nice and polite. All in all a very strange experience.
