Fantastic bread and cakes at very affordable prices. Definitely recommend the danish loaf and the swirls. Also a good range of vegan and dairy free options.

I love how the pastries aren't too sweet, but it does mean that I feel like I could eat several! The cheese-covered soft pretzel has been a huge hit with all the people I've (reluctantly!) shared it with. And with it being right next to a bus stop, it's so easy to get there from town - maybe not so much when it first opens, because it opens very early, but if you're a morning person, it's perfect for a breakfast treat

Wonderful food at a a great place. Staff are friendly, and cafe is always warm and welcoming. Vegan options also!

Had a first time experience with thier apple cinnamon swirl n also Nutella filling doornut wow the swirl filled me up n couldn't eat the doornut till next both are incredible big size for buck n so soooo soooo delightful in taste and quality definitely going back n recommended this place highly...so much to try n price wise very nice also not to expensive for what ya getting. They make/bake things on the very premises so it's always fresh n the smells oh I'll not spoil it for you 👍😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋👍❤️

Just visited this amazing bakery. Exceptional choice of goods , all freshly prepared and beautifully presented. Outstanding value for money. Extremely helpful and polite staff. If you haven’t visited you’re missing a treat. This will be my go to place every time I’m back in Sheffield.

I pop in regularly after a swimming session to eat up my calories burned off. Their cinnamon swirl with cream cheese frosting is to die for.

I love Kringles. Everyone is friendly, the food is all delicious! Am working my way through the counter during my visits. A highlight :) a vast selection of pasties, bread, rolls and other assorted goodies. I visit as often as I can when I'm in the area. Love them. Update: They have tables now and have expanded their range of pastries and drinks to include pretzels, baguettes and vegan chocolate croissants.

We love a good Danish Cinnamon Swirl, and the Swirls here are the best I've ever had, including visiting Denmark! We make a special trip to call off and pick them up as we live on the far south of Sheffield. It's worth it. Amazing bakery with brilliant products. We also picked up a sourdough loaf on this visit, which is also brilliant.

I had a donut with Nutella in it was very very good I really liked it especially with the sugar bits on top it did get everywhere but that’s apart of fun!

I went there with my daughter and she said it was the best breakfast she had ever. All pastries were fresh, the counter was constantly replenished, great pleasant service with a smile on their faces.

Great products, decent prices. Always friendly service. Never too busy. Big difference to another local bakery wrt to prices and busyness.

At the top of a long steep hill is a small plot of land that will be forever Denmark. Why wouldn’t you want a coffee and cake?! And here you’ll get the best Danish Pastry of your life. And there’s other bakery stuff, and it’s all great, and it smells amazing. Perfect little slice of Denmark heaven right there in Sheffield. Go there!

Sensational pastries. We popped in after spotting the shop on our way through the area. Staff were very knowledgeable about danish baking traditions which made it a really nice experience. The pastries were just fantastic.

Absolutely incredible, time after time. The doughnut looks impeccable and is light and sweet. The pretzel pastrami sandwich is unctuous and very filling. They do fresh pizzas in time for 12 but get there quickly otherwise the local high schoolers will clear them all out. The wide range of fresh bread is very good. A very happy, repeat customer .

I had an experience at this place, the details of which I will share right now. I entered and was immediately met with the sight of several swirls. The feeling this sight brought about in me was unexpected for it had been a long time since I last encountered them. 300 odd years in fact during my time spent sailing with a crew of Danish merchants transporting goose hides from Kallerhulme to Presgawyth. In Presgawyth these hides would be wrung for their valuable grease, then processed by the local folk into a highly durable and non-perishable snack. The grease would be used to lubricate wheels and such whilst the dried hides would be taken by the local men down the mines where they would often be expected to stay for several days at a time. They were hardy folk in Presgawyth, but they were kind and had a particular fondness for pastry. Prior to the introduction of Christianity to the area, a local folk religion was practiced that, at its most basic level, thought that all things evolve cyclically, that history doesn't repeat, but it does rhyme. The symbol for this was a spiral or swirl. And as an ode to their fading heritage, the Presgawythians preserved this eternal truth through their pastries which they called "Swærhls" in their local dialect. The Danish merchants took payment for the goose hides mostly in copper and tin, but none could resist supplanting a small fraction of that with these local "Swærhls". This food eventually became very popular in Denmark you see, but it has been some time now since I last ventured so far east. It warms my heart to see swirls return to where they once came. Ask about this story next time you visit and you will receive a free swirl.

Huge range of tasty and interesting pastries and breads. Breads from spelt to rye! Benches outside for a sunny day. Also really well priced.

I was delighted to find Kringles when I moved to the area. Opens early so you can pick things up warm for breakfast. The rye bread is fantastic and the staff are super friendly. Icing is sometimes a bit OTT on the sweet treats but that hasn't stopped me eating them several times this past week.

This shop is single handedly destroying my keto diet, damn you for being so delicious!! You're closed for a holiday at the moment and every time I pass, I shed a little tear. 12/10. 👌

Off the beaten track but worth a trip. Fresh pastries reasonably priced and lovely smooth coffee. Was worth the wait having missed opening hours a few times. Best Danish pastries I've tasted outside of Denmark.. and I've tasted a lot of pastries.. Surely a Sheffield landmark for years to come.

Divine Danish Pastries. Bread products galore to choose from fresher than fresh. Lovely friendly family business. And you can get a hot traditional cup of tea etc if you need to unwind for 5 minutes . Superb place.

Lovely stuff but a bit costly. Bakery could be costly as it is handmade but why a Caffè latte or cappuccino so costly. Your website is not working too.

Filter coffee for a quid? Yes please! Good selection of swirls and breads. Defo worth calling in for. I've been 4 times since! And don't forget Swirl Wednesday for reduced price swirls (at the time of writing May 2023)

Bought some "Viking Bread " and a cinnamon role. They looked great, but really weren't worth the high prices.

At Bents Green there is a bakery it is absolutely spot-on. Swiss rolls fishley break all the finger licking pastry. But the best thing croissants and so forth...

First time visit to Kringle today on a snowy Saturday morning.The Danish pastries are to die for! We tried the almond crown and cream Danish, both delicious...the best we've ever tasted in fact. Will definitely be back ( probably tomorrow morning!)

Really lovely bakery that also acts as a small cafe serving hot drinks (I usually have a decaf flat white, which is always very nice) and amazing Danish pastries. I often go in there for a loaf of bread and somehow accidentally buy a cinnamon swirl as well.

Fantastic food and friendly, proactive and sincere customer service. They go the extra mile to help and are proud of their heritage, sharing information with passion and friendliness. Thanks for the free dog snacks. (I'll read more carefully before eating free samples in future.)

Absolutely obsessed with the pastries!! We saw it had just opened so popped in for a couple danishes. By the time we had gotten home we had demolished the pastries so turned around to buy more. So moreish and delicious. There’s so much variety and loads of vegan options. I can’t believe the head baker baker every single thing fresh each day. She’s a superwoman!!
