Este es un lugar encantador - café árabe fuerte, delicioso pastel, y el shakshuka es increíble. El servicio es genial y el lugar siempre tiene un zumbido feliz. He estado con amigos, con familiares y hasta para reuniones de trabajo. ¡Me encanta aquí!

Pregunté si podía personalizar un desayuno, me dijeron groseramente “no, no hacemos eso” Me fui, no es la primera vez que encuentro que el personal es grosero, no voy a volver, hay un montón de otros lugares para comer en S 8.

Stopped here on a chilly morning and had hot chocolate and a tea cake to warm up. A cosy setting and the hot chocolate was perfect - very hot and not too sickly. Would stop here again.

Our first visit and it will not be our last. From the moment we walked in,we were greeted by friendly and helpful staff. The cafe was clean and the atmosphere was vibrant. We ordered the Greek salad, and brushetta which were superb,then we shared the fantastic chocolate orange cake, which again,was delicious, together with the great coffees,this was a great food and drink experience overall. If you get the chance, visit this wonderful place.

Me and my partner were both very ill after having the Palestine breakfast which contained under cooked eggs. None of the staff asked if our food was okay during or after the meal. Will not be returning

I love coming here with my son. We have been a few times and it has always been great. The menu offers something a little different from the coffee shops nearby. It is always a great atmosphere and friendly staff and customers.

I've always enjoyed this place and ignored the blips but today, lady wasn't interested in what I ordered, 1 wrong order and the Turkish breakfast was a joke, rock hard poached eggs and jams? A naff sachet of strawberry jam, a bit of sliced tomato and cucumber, a lump of yogurt, the whole thing was very disappointing, the customer is clearly an after thought in this place, all they want is bums on seats

If you need a delicious coffee or wonderful cake then you must visit this relaxing place ! Fantastic staff and service

We come regularly and the food and service are always on point. There is something for everyone, my daughter highly recommends the pancakes! A lovely place - grateful to be local to Cafe Des Amis!

Nothing good happens in here. Stay clear if you want to stay happy. Food mishaps waiting forever total mishmash avoid if possible.

This was a very friendly place. I had flatbreads with a selection of dips, which were all excellent; someone else in the party had carrot cake which was also very good. They were offering free refills of tea. What's not to love?

I visited for a birthday outing, The manager/owner generally was so rude he didn’t acknowledge or welcome us however the young female staff member was lovely her customer service was on point no fault. The manager was also seen a number of times belittling that poor young girl who was serving us when we made some changes to our order almost to the point it looked like she felt uncomfortable and I felt bad for even requesting these changes to the order if I knew it would get her into bother. However the reason I have given this One star is the manager was so rude in his manner and I was so disgusted to have witnessed with my own eyes him disregarding any Asian or ethnic customer that were sat waiting to order and running to serve one specific origin of customers only with one group of ethnic origin waiting around 30 minutes to order yet when a Caucasian couple arrived within minutes they were served. I wouldn’t have even noticed but it’s the fact this happened atleast 3 times to different customers that were of ethnic origin in the whole time I was there. I felt the need to be honest and highlight this, No matter what ethnicity I am I have to comment when I feel wrong is wrong and I didn’t like that he did that to numerous customers the whole time I was there.

Really missed this cafe during lockdown. Went again a few weeks ago with family and friends for lunch and had a great time. Cosy atmosphere and lots of choice on the menu. Portions are decent too. Everything was delicious and should it had just been grown ups we could have settled in and stayed longer. Only downside is they are cash only and the nearest cash machine charges.

Always love the Cafe Des Amis. Friendly, community feel, excellent coffee, and the food is generous and delicious.

If you are a large party you are king because money counts if there is only two of look forward to a long wait coffee has been disgusting due to new owner the owner works on cash is king

Horrible food. Turkish coffee was OK. The staff is very Rude and horrible. they dont know how to do customer services. The woman was back chatting and telling me what to do how to eat my food. They need training and perhaps close the business down. Never going back there again and I do NOT recommend this place.

Unfortunately not a good experience from the moment we walked in. Upon waking in we were told card was not accepted was annoyed but accepted this drove 10 mins away to withdraw cash. Upon returning we were seated quickly however we ended up waiting a long time and still our order was not taken. We went up to the counter and asked if we could order and we’re told the waiter/manager with the headset would come to us. However in total we were waiting over 30 minutes and still our order had not been taken and we were getting very hungry. A couple had walked in and on appearance they looked to be of the upper class shortly after they were seated their order was taken and we were still waiting. Feeling very angry, disappointed and disgusted with this manager/waiter we walked out as we did not want to ruin our mood and outing by arguing with this disgusting and ignorant man.
