We’ve been twice since the polo season has finished and both times the food has been phenomenal. Ashlee is an awesome hostess. It’s dog friendly too, which add to the relaxed atmosphere. Definitely recommend if it’s a sunny day, you can spend may hours enjoying some really delicious wine

Very disappointing. Service was terrible. Dining Room in basement which was cold and soulless with awful background music. Food portions very small & they charge you for potatoes & veg even though we paid for a dinner, b&b package. Breakfast also minimal & service very slow. Waited 20 mins for toast to accompany scrambled eggs which meant it went cold. I asked for breakfast to be removed from my bill and they only took off £7.50! They also charge for service on top of everything which you only find out when you get your bill. We will not be returning which is a shame as the location is perfect. But for what you are paying they need to seriously up their game and not charge lots of hidden extras.

£6.50 for a child’s lunch box is a bit much . granted it has several items in but to be honest you could reduce the content by the yoghurt and aim for a £5 charge? I found the tomato soup extremely salty so altogether a little disappointed. rest of hot food looked good .

I booked Sunday lunch (for 8) at The Swan to celebrate our wedding anniversary, having had a wonderful reception at the same venue 20 years ago. It was incredible from start to finish - a special, private table, and the warmest of welcomes. The service was attentive but not intrusive, and the extra little touches (glass of Prosecco & anniversary pudding!) just made it feel truly celebratory. The Swan will, once again become part of our family memories - thank-you to all who looked after us today. [The food was also lovely - superlative roasties & yorkshire pudding!]
