We’ve been twice since the polo season has finished and both times the food has been phenomenal. Ashlee is an awesome hostess. It’s dog friendly too, which add to the relaxed atmosphere. Definitely recommend if it’s a sunny day, you can spend may hours enjoying some really delicious wine

Sadly we had a very rude waiter who spoiled our Mum’s 80th birthday. Food was average but the evening was ruined by this poor customer service. Fortunately there are far better restaurants in town to enjoy.

Absolutely awful ! I was violently ill on the way home I asked for a gluten free meal and was duly presented with two courses with a blue label saying special needs. I was offered a gluten free meal Great. I had a pleasant starter followed by roast pork jus and veg including cauliflower cheese We left. 30 minutes later I had a violent reaction stomach cramps and severe diahirrea. I had ingested gluten! I called the hotel to talk to the chef or manager. No answer I think the gravy was thickened a flour roux which no one thought to check so despite all the fanfare I was given an ingredient which I expressly asked to avoid and our family Sunday was spoilt I did not get anaphylaxis but if you have an allergy AVOID this place

We were very disappointed with the quality of food and drinks. Soup was inedible, chocolate cake had never been near any chocolate and was like eating sand. Paninis were made from awful bread, served with a limp ‘salad’ and a few crisps, incredibly average and extremely overpriced. Chocolate cookie has no taste and again was extremely dry. Coffee was reminiscent of a 00s vending machine. Bring a picnic and avoid this place.
