The best restaurants serving French food in East of England

waffles we're stale, the biscuit topping was soggy. Why not put the toppings in a small pot so they are fresh. Ice cream was liquid when it arrived. not at all impressed. won't order again

Fantastic eaterie. Very warm, friendly service. Very knowledgeable about Gluten intolerance and lactose intolerance/vegan options. That made choosing the food and what to drink so much easier. Thoroughly recommend for something a touch different.

It was our daughter's birthday so we ordered champagne. It sat on the bar unopened with some normal wine glasses by the side. We waited and then had to ask for flutes and to have it opened - they seemed surprised at the request! Had a snack. Waitress spilt Mayonnaise over us. We had to ask for a cloth to mop it up ourselves and ask for a replacement Mayonnaise. The food didn't all arrive together. Table not cleared until asked. No apologies offered - just excuses "young staff and a wedding on". Bill near on £100. No reduction offered. Such a shame as have had some great times there over the years. Very reluctant to return now or recommend to anyone else.

The young ladies couldn’t have been friendlier or more helpful. My son had a crepe and it was amazing. My husband asked for a cake warming with cream and they happily obliged. Delicious desserts. Great service.

Have eaten many times here before, unfortunately the chief has let their skills go down the pan…literally. Food was cold, microwaved at best! The chief is more a microwave technician than a chief. The waiter was rude , looked like a scruffy mess. We also had a dog join us at the table who cleared our plates for us when we was done, in fairness the dog didn’t seem to complain about the food , have to give credit where credit is due. Avoid this place if you actually care for your stomach.
