Good fish and chips. Had the haggis and Stornaway black pudding fritters to share as a starter which was lovely. Two medium fish suppers, one starter, two small cokes and two small sparking water drinks were £35.00.

Tasty pizzas and kebabs. Reasonably priced. Friendly and helpful staff. The doner meat hoggie is my favourite.

Have to order on just eat because they don’t have their own driver this shops been here since I can remember and having to go through just eat to get a driver to deliver the food I want from their shop is a joke

Actualmente estoy visitando mi ciudad natal por unos días y me alojo en un hotel en la calle Hope. Me encontré con un viejo amigo por más cervezas de las que eran necesarias o recomendables. Como no hay servicio de habitaciones en mi hotel, llamé a Cookies justo antes de la medianoche y compré un Chicken Bhoona y una porción de Chicken Pakora. Ganga absoluta a menos de 10 años. - Dado el precio, mis expectativas en cuanto a la calidad no eran altas, pero cuando estás en esa etapa en la que te resulta difícil hablar sin driblar, tus estándares caen considerablemente. Estaba placenteramente sorprendida. El Bhoona era de muy buena calidad para llevar y el Chicken Pakora era absolutamente de primera categoría y casi adictivo. Tanto es así que volví la noche siguiente, cuando pude cruzar las carreteras sin la ayuda de los amables transeúntes y reordené la misma comida. Fue tan bueno como la noche anterior.

I used collection for my family, very tidy clean shop. Nice local shop kebab and chips very good. Parking free

After a recommendation from my eldest son, we went for pizza this week, OMG the food is excellent and the donner calzones are so delicious, loaded with meat, wrapped in an excellent dough and mouth watering good

As in the title. The fish had a nice, crispy batter. Quick service, tv while waiting, they do deliveries

I asked specifically if there was onions in the sweet chilli chicken as most bought in ones do. I have a onion intolerance I was assured by the staff member there wasn’t onions in the mix - when taking a bite I was unsure and the after the second I tasted a onion and then looked through the mix and there was onions I spent the next hour and a bit vommiting. I would hate for someone who was actually allergic to be told wrong information. It is shocking, staff should know what is in things or if unsure check the ingredients before selling a product, I would have just had a ham and cheese and wouldn’t have been a waste of money and me being ill. Staff member was really nice which made this more of a let down.

The Kafay is a fantastic local gem. I frequently stop by for their delicious tuna mayo and chicken mayo rolls, both of which are consistently outstanding. Their chips and gravy are also a standout, offering a satisfying munch. With great prices and friendly staff, The Kafay is a top choice for a quick bite. Highly recommended!

Toilets were a disgrace. Will not be returning. Staff were obviously very busy serving customers but no excuse for not checking toilet on a regular basis.

And what could be better than a coffee and cake from the Costa Cafe! There's a good selection of cakes and pastries and the latte was good - you can either sit at the tables, or there's plenty of space to sit around the square or on the grass. I also tried one of their filled rolls for a quick lunch which was good with a generous filling.

Went in for breakfast and order a coffee and bacon roll. The people were nice enough but during the pandemic no Covid laws enforced! Workers with no masks in a confined space, work tops where dirty with food all over the place! I order a latte and the girl behind the counter made my coffee with the steam wand covered in curdled milk which was about half an inch thick I’m a trained barista and work in this industry and this is just a no no! She then procides to just not bother cleaning it and continue making my coffee! I walked straight out the shop! Will never be back! Think they need trained in proper food safety practices! Will never be back so many nicer places in this area
