I used collection for my family, very tidy clean shop. Nice local shop kebab and chips very good. Parking free

Checked the website before going to this shop and found that it opened today at 1.30pm. I arrived around 2.40pm only to be told they weren't open, they said maybe i could wait half an hour. When i explained that on the phone it stated opening time was 1.30pm, the reply was where ? I went outside and got the opening times on my phone and went back in to show them, this time i was told they WERE open but the fish wasn't ready could i wait 15 minutes. So in the space of literally 2 minutes it went from being closed to being open. I told them they had to keep the information up to date. ANYONE running a business needs to make sure that ANY information is up to date. To be fair i don't use this shop on a regular basis but do use it from time to time and never had any problems in the past. But i am annoyed at what happened today and wont be back. Very poor PR.

Just had chips which were cold five minutes later. I asked for fresh but I think that they were sitting in the counter

I ordered a hom delivery on the 8ths September I ordered a white pudding supper but I got a large sausage supper and the chips where dry again like the have been lying about for ages

Ordered pizza and chips for delivery - very fast service - good quality hot food. Great value for money from a local business - much cheaper than Domino or Pizza Hut

Hemos utilizado esta comida para llevar varias veces. Sus pinchos y calzones son muy buenos, al igual que los aros de cebolla y los champiñones rebozados. Probé una cena de pastel de carne picada pero estaba goteando aceite y casi no se podía comer. Mi mayor queja es que en tres ocasiones se perdieron un artículo de nuestro pedido (champiñones, cebollas y papas fritas en ocasiones separadas). Esto parece ser demasiado a menudo para ser una coincidencia.

Food is amazing whatever you order. Delivery is quick and friendly. Whether it’s traditional fish and chips or s kebab you won’t be disappointed.

Przyzwoity smak w fajnej cenie. Nie jest to może najlepszy take away w okolicy, ale jest zawsze świeżo i jakość za każdym razem jest taka sama, więc nie boję się tam wracać.

First visit at this chippy and I’m impressed! Chips were hot and fresh, burger was fresh and tasty with nice crispy batter. I sat in while I waited on the bus. It’s a lovely shop and staff were friendly 👌

Pedimos comida para llevar aquí cuando se alojen en un hotel cercano. Fue señalada como muy buena en el comer solo comentarios.Comida llegó bastante rápido, sin embargo, que era la mejor parte. Las porciones eran pequeñas. Kebabs eran muy normal, de ninguna manera notable. Instrucciones especiales orden ignorados. Y sentí que era una mala relación calidad-precio.Si volviera a la zona entonces no me pida desde aquí.

Take away order great, food good and generous portions. Quick home delivery. Definitely use again and recommend them.

Este lugar se ha desplomado cuesta abajo hasta el punto en que tuve un mal estómago y la comida ya no es buena. El pescado es horrible (lleno de huesos) y el kebab de pollo no estaba bien cocido. Terrible ¡Y una pena como solíamos amar aquí! ¡La barbacoa es mucho mejor!

Tried Sultan a few weeks ago for a chicken kebab and was delighted, delicious kebab. Will definitely use them again.

We live locally and use the sultan regularly, great menu for both adults and kids. My personal favourites are the fish suppers and kebab pizzas.

Came to Edinburgh from down south for a long weekend with husband and 6 year old Daughter stayed at Edinburgh Capital Hotel, daughter was tired so wanted to just stay in the room so we thought fish and chips would be the best way to go and so glad we did. They were friendly, quick and reasonably priced. The fish and chips were still warm when we got back to the hotel which was about 10 mins, they were tasty and just the right sized portion.

Always decent fish and chips-type food at a reasonable price. Also pasta, baked potatoes, kebabs. Friendly and helpful staff, open all hours.

We have noticed that the last couple of times we have ordered the service hasn't been great. Items were missing and also even being charged more recently for some salad sauce and mayo yet the order of onions was still forgotten even though the girl called to say they were being sent for free. The last time we ordered 3 items were missed off too....they also had issues with their online order once recently and the manager basically harassed me for a payment for days even though it was their mistake. The food is good...but it was cold when it arrived again and it's only 5 mins away. Overall we'r very disappointed and will be considering using a different chippy unless things improve or we are offered certain recompense. Thanks.

Ordered a 12" pizza, falafel wrap, small chips with salt and sauce and a large bottle of irn bru. Order came fairly quickly and was piping hot when it arrived. Everything tasted great and the chips were amazing. Very nice delivery driver as well, my new favourite chippy!

We used to go to Gina's for our takeaways until I had the mis fortune of dealing with an extremely rude female staff member which has stopped us using them. This is a better chippy. Much friendlier, better food and no hassles. Excellent and the best in the area :)

Great chippy, has everything you want, including deep fried mars and snickers bars! Batter is crispy and fairly fresh and the portion sizes are great. Definitely going to make it our regular!

Fantastic take away - The owner has covered everything.. excellent food, presentation and service - will definitely be back. Well worth the trip to East Craigs.
