Everything is made in the house, always best quality meat. Very friendly atmosphere. Bar is set so high you can not compare this place to any other. Having burgers somewhere else is waste of money.

Lovely jacket potatoes. Generous with toppings. Although, I do have to say that around mid-day they do tend to run out of most items. So, if you're wanting lunch, you may want to pop by earlier. Parking is available at the back on Winchester street, and limited on-street parking available on Mansfield road itself.

Asked for freshly cooked bacon as I can taste the difference when it's left to sweat in a pot and reheated. The lady straight up said No to my request and confirmed (we just reheat) i didn't think it was a unreasonable request. Work colleagues have no issue with it but if you know your food you know your food, freshly cooked bacon is all i wanted and they cwouldnt cater for me. I'm only here because of the response, i have eaten twice from here as I thought the first time might of been a one off thats why i called to request fresh. Poor service. Poor quality on this one issue about bacon, the rest could be lovely I don't know and probably never will.
