Chickie one is the best chicken establishment in town! the food is always incredible, piping hot and they are so generous with portion sizes and it’s fantastic value for money! I have tried other chicken places which over charge for mediocre food! I won’t get my chicken from anywhere else now!! Very happy customer & also my kids love it too

Been here a few times as we are quite local. It's mainly a takeaway/delivery establishment but has tables inside for eating options. We have always found it very good value. Less than £10 a head for half chicken,chips, coleslaw, halloumi and a coke and a sauce. The food is clean, fresh and tasty. The staff are always very attentive. Highly recommended we will definitely go again.

Visited here on way home from Friday night pub visit. Clean & tidy takeaway with a few tables & chairs inside (I think you’re probably welcome to sit & eat inside) Had a large chicken wrap & chips. All freshly cooked & still warm when we got home. Really tasty & well cooked food. Chicken wrap had a powerful kick to it too.

This place is excellent, they really pride themselves on an excellent end result. We only had a few items from the menu, the wrap, wings and the kids meals. Looking forward to trying more from here.

Food here is out of this world. Delicious! Gorden Ramsay could never. I order here every day. As I'm not much of a meat person, I tend to order chips and onion rings. Chips are never a let down, normal ones and sweet fries. The perfect amount of crisp and always comes hot. Mozerella fingers, crispy and warm. I spend at least five minutes smelling them as they smell delicious! Onion rings, crispy and full of taste! I love the new wallpaper. Much more fun to look at when the parents won't let you on the phone. Chicken nuggets crispy and delicious! Homemade sauce made specially via blender with natural ingredients. Staff work incredibly quickly and as a team. A variety of drinks and the chicken is a never let down! Chickie One is amazing. Will continue ordering. This is a must have restaurant. Superb!

Pensé que esto debía ser bueno, a juzgar por las órdenes que tenía que cocinar el chef. . .  Fui por la envoltura especial del chef que pedí, una lata de coca cola y papas crujientes, debería ser suficiente. . . El precio era muy razonable y al preguntar por las salsas, todo hecho en casa en el local. Fui por mango y lima. Consiguió el pedido y se sentó a la mesa. . . ¡Oh Dios mío! ! Tried most of the Chicken places in Bournemouth...... and Chickie one is consistantly produced good food that is fresh. We use new places every now and again for a change but over the years chickie one has come top regularly. Highly recommend.

Best Chicken Burger I've had in a very long time! Food tasted very good and fresh. The delivery driver was really nice and waited for me to actually get home from work (Thanks!) I'd recommended this 💯!

Ah Chickie One, where did it go wrong? What was once a delicious, cost effective alternative than the peri peri experts Nandos, has since lost its way. Living too far from our local Roosters or Nandos, Chickie One had become our go to for peri chicken and for a long time it was amazing! Ask us a year ago and I would have told you Chickie One was worth every penny. The takeout got worse over time. We noticed delivery was scatty and food was often cooked through, but under grilled. The worst part was the peri chicken flavours which were tangy and chemically tasting. It's since been shut for 6 months and they've oftered 20% off deal for their grand reopening! Sounds like a good opportunity to try the new and improved! It's was actually such a disappointment, to the point we didn't even finish our meal this time. 1/2 Chicken had come straight out of the oven draw, no grilling at all! This made it fatty and unappealing. The sauce it was "cooked in" was watery and flavourless. Full of squishy fat is a clear indication of poor quality chicken. My wife had the wrap with dry, chewy chicken and the mash was salty and bland. Sweet potato flies were soggy but we managed to crisp them up in the oven and were actually the best part of the whole meal. All in all, it's shame. I love independent chicken shops but Chickie One seems to have lost its way. Just terrible food. Save your money and energy and get your peri chicken from a more reputable place.

Collection said 16.40 but they texted at 16.30 saying food was ready we arrived at 16.40 as planned our journey to get there on time food was cold and all soggy.

a little disappointed, the food was late. and warm. the chicken was chewy and very veiny... I picked most of it apart, there was no spice of hot to the wrap that was called medium hot. too much sauce making wrap fall apart. the sweet potato chips are very yummy though.

Although my food turned up late and was only just still hot it was very nice. the lamb ribs sweet potato fries and halloumi wrap were delicious and would happily order again. the chicken however i felt was dry.

'Burrito' was a chicken wrap with rice. Fluffy rice you'd get at a Chinese. Very odd. No extra flavours like beans, salsa, guacamole etc. Rubbish. And half the wrap was lettuce.

Food is hot,fresh and tasty,but they always miss stuff and i end up going down to collect it,whats the point in a delivery service if i have to collect half my order.

The best take away chicken I've ever had. Like Nando's only if anything, more succulent. I went for the mango and lime chicken quarter with the lemon and lime chicken wrap with sweet potato fries. VERY nice food. Not very often you get sweet potato fries from a take away. I was impressed, will be ordering again.

Unfortunately we won't be ordering again! They were very unhelpful in a matter that involved them being wrong but tried to make out it was my fault...the food delivered was inedible so £20 down the drain! Such a shame as we've ordered, supported and spoken about this takeaway a lot. We actually enjoyed their food! But the way they handled this is unacceptable and now they have lost a loyal customer when it could have been easily resolved.

Ordered a chicken burger with mayo, mango and lime. After inspection of burger found the burger bun had soaked something red up. Assumed to be blood. Utterly disgusted and won't be ordering from here again. The 1 star is only for their chips as they were nice.

food quality was good, however delivery time was longer than expected. That's ok though, it was ordered on a friday night so they were probably busy.

The food was 15 minutes late when I called to enquire where it was and I was told the delivery driver had only just left the restaurant! After being told they were on their way, so would be even later, I complained that this was disappointing and not acceptable service which was surprising for chickie one. The person on the phone was unco-operative and borderline rude. I received absolutely no compensation for the fact the food was half an hour late with no warning that the shop was busy that day, which was what the employee on the phone repeatedly said was the cause for the problem. Considering I paid a few for delivery, it's quite a joke really that I was still charged, despite the poor delivery service.
