Wow! What can I say? We had an amazing vegan dinner with tofish, vegan ‘spam’ fritters and vegan giant battered sausage, chips, mushy peas & curry sauce and we were blown away by it! Generous portion sizes, cooked perfectly with great flavours and all at sensible prices. Also, knowing it was all cooked in non animal-derived or palm oil was a huge bonus for us. All packaging was plastic-free too. Keep up the good work guys!

The only fish and chip shop I will go to that offers tasty vegan options which sit outside the box of the standard veggie burger !! absolutely amazing food well done all of you !

I have personally used Seacrest and been really pleased. I also used Seacrest for our Bowls club to deliver 14 meals, on 16th January 2024, they were delivered on time and were delicious. The members who ate the meals were really pleased. So great service, great product, an easy to use online ordering system. As a club we order every week, but I am just standing in for the real organiser. We are always pleased with Seacrest and highly recommend them

Seacrest is hands down the best chip shop you will ever try. I always try the specials and it’s always outstanding but the current Korean special literally just blew my socks off !! So inventive, so delicious and the fish is just the most tender and flavourful thing you’ll ever eat .

Seacrest is amazing! We were allowed to sit down and eat and we shared tofish, chips, curry sauce, and mac n cheese bites. This was all vegan and delicious. Cheap prices for tons of food! Highly recommend.

I ordered fish and chips for 40 people plus 10 of their excellent vegan sausage rolls and chips, this was for the guests at my Partner's wake in Westcliff. Although Friday night is their busy night, the food arrived on time, piping hot and delicious. Everyone said what great quality the food is - and portions came in individual cardboard boxes, so no washing up. First class service, five stars from me.

Been going to oldhams for years but seacrest was recommended to us. Crispy chips and fluffy inside. Fish was not greasy and not soggy when I got home. Will be getting fish and chips from seacrest in future.

Really friendly staff who didn't make us feel stressed at all when we were being indecisive and it was really clean inside too. There was a bench to wait for your food and also one little bar table which you could sit in and eat at. The menu has a really wide range of options including vegetarian and vegan. We got the vegan battered sausage which was delicious and really big, but they also had other options including tofish and chips and vegan burgers. The prices are reasonable and you can feed two people easily for less than a tenner. We spent £10-ish on a massive portion of chips, two vegan battered sausage and a pot of curry sauce and we couldn't finish all the chips so definitely good value.

Someone recommended Seacrest to me. I'd become tired of a big local fish n chip shop, just didn't think it was that good. So thought we'd give this place a go as it's only round the corner to us. I'm so pleased I did. I had Haddock and chips and my wife had the Cod bites. Without doubt this was, the best fish n chips I've ever had. No chewy chips they were lite and crisp and the Haddock was a generous size even for large. Again batter cooked to perfection. And wife's Cod bites I avoided as I thought they'd be out of a packet. They were amazing, huge chunks of cod. Total cost £17.00 fantastic value. Give Seacrest a try. Totally recommended.

Best fish & chips EVER!!! Luckily we live round the corner, and get at least 2 takeaways from here every week. When they do their ‘special’ fish & chips from around the world, I always try it, and I’m never disappointed. The Japanese Katsu curry special was DIVINE!!! Our favourite are the chips though, we’d eat them every night if they were calorie free!!! 😉

Fish and chips are amazing however they do not sell chip buttys the sell them in a terrible cheap roll that full apart with only a thew chips on the side, having tried plenty of chip shops the chip buttys are made properly with a load of chips as most of us know. Also the saveloys are a let down the saveloys are either over cooked or watery, my favourite meal from chip shop is saveloy and chip roll and put it all in butty together but from here with the cheap rolls it all falls apart and has made me travel further away for other chip shops bare in mind i live next to this chip shop.

Best fish and chips in Westcliff, better than Oldhams, even. Always hot, chips aren't soggy, and batter on the fish is nice and crispy.

If I had to rate all the chip shops between 1 and 10, I would get to Sea Crest and give them 20. Miles better than anyone else.

This is our local fish & chips shop but we didn’t go for locality. We went as a retired fish & Chip owner told us that this is the only shop he ever eat from and he was absolutely right . If you are a fish & chip lover and you know quality , you should try Seacrest ! Not only the chips is crispy outside and soft inside , but also the cod is second to non . To top it all up , the actual shop is immaculately clean . Try this and cod & chips and you would never go elsewhere .Thank you seacrest for quality .

The best fish and chips yet bar none 😋. The food was worth the wait in the queue. They also catered for vegetarians / vegans and my wife loved it and recommends it highly. We need more takeaways in Westcliff-on-Sea like this one.

Absolutely awesome food. The young lady behind the counter was very friendly. The Saverloys were done exactly how I like them with soft skin. Chips are lovely. My daughter loved her Jumbo sausages. All round I thought it was superb and I'll definitely be coming back I love the way the food comes in nice boxes too. Keep it up guys!!! 😁👍👍👍

THAT WAS EXCEPTIONAL. I’m relatively new to the area and that was my third time there. In this moment I’m convinced that’s the best battered fish I’ve ever had. (ignore potatoes in the pic they were last night’s leftovers - the fish was the star tho).

Son wanted some fish and chips and remember hearing about this place, They offered a nice little small cod and chip light bites with a drink for £4.90. He wouldn't have managed a full portion, I had a bite of his cod and it was light, fresh and crispy and not greasy at all , pinched a chip or two and they were excellent. I will be back for sure to try out some more food and they had a bunch of Spanish twists specials which i really want to try. I had eaten so i didn't get anything but i wish i did now. Looking at the menu and it was very very reasonable, i don't often eat takeaways but my next for sure will be here! Friendly staff and very clean and tidy.

This has been a great find as we love fish and chips but as newly vegan haven't found one that caters for vegan tastes... until now! This place is amazing it does all the standard fish and chips but has an extensive vegan range. We enjoyed the tofish and chips, vegan battered sausage, vegan mac and cheese bites and vegan arancini balls! All were delicious! My children loved the kids menu too. We will not be going anywhere else from now on!

I have been using this fish and chip shop for home delivery for over a year without any major complaints, but recently their customer service has deteriorated dramatically. I’m not sure if they have changed ownership but whenever you contact them they appear unhelpful and almost to a point rude. Although the products are generally good they need to learn customer satisfaction. I certainly will not be using them again in the future

My children and I hugely enjoyed our meal from Seacrest. The owners not only serve everything you'd expect from a traditional fish and chip shop, they have also created their own take on some other home cooked meals, which I must say, are amazing!! I haven't stopped thinking about the lasagne bites since. Prices are very good too. It was well worth the visit and we are looking forward to returning very soon.

After moving to Westcliff seven weeks ago, we have worked our way through more than our fair share of both restaurants and take away for fish and chips. Seacrest came highly recommended by a friend and after trying it this evening I don’t feel the need to look any further. The fish was truly exquisite, the batter was light, the cod was skinless, boneless and just about the most delicious fish I have tasted. The portions were generous, the cost was low, the place was clean and the staff friendly. I hope lots of people read your fantastic reviews and visit, keeping you in business for years to come.

I’ve had a lot of Fish & Chips in my time but this is, without question, the best. Generous portion, great taste, fantastic presentation. It has it all! Girlfriend was satisfied for the first time since I met her!

Westcliff on sea had got to be a contender for best place in the UK for vegan eateries. Seacrest have recently really upped their (already impressive) game with an extended vegan menu which includes amazing vegan sausages made on site, vegan fish tacos (so good) and tofish and chips as well as vegan burgers and more. My meat eating family tell me that the fish and sausages are delicious too. I love this chippy.

Had the tofish and chips after somebody posted about it on Facebook and it was absolutely delightful! The battered tofu, chips and tartare sauce were all to die for, the portion size really generous and the staff super friendly, so glad I treated myself and will definitely go back when I'm in Southend again!

Amazing Chips and the best vegan options around, I started with the battered sausages they created and me and my partner loved them, then as soon as we saw the mock fish we had to try that also and that was amazing. Not only is the food amazing but also the friendly staff and owner. I will be a regular and look forward to trying any vegan options you bring our, happy to be a guinea pig ha. I was very impressed with my order of the vegan battered sausage and chips. The chips are cooked nicely, not all squishy and greasy like some chip shops and it comes in a presentable box at no extra charge! It arrived hot and in record time. You can choose the time online you would like it to arrive, which is a plus. Delivery charge is just £1.75 which is very reasonable I thought and because of this price it was the deciding factor for me to order tonight for door to door delivery. The consistency of the quality of the chips here are bang on the money, fish is a bit bland but you will never beat the chips here at all and the price for the large portion is a bargain! The Place is spotless.

Used to like this place. But dunno if new owner or staff but it's naff now. Only went there primaryly for the mushy pea fritter. But they've replaced it with revolting spam fritter. Also wasn't helpful when I wanted to get my two year old daughter something to eat. Last two experiences have not been what I'm used to. Never going back.
