Meal tastes uncooked horrible not up to the usual standard at all very disappointed this time

Judging by the temperature, I was low down the delivery queue.

Best chunky traditional style chips in town. Quality chunky cod and as an added bonus this time the cod was Northern style with the silver skin off as I prefer it.

the delivery guy went to westclif in Stead of Southend (got screenshots ) making the food late and cold once it got here so was very unprofessional as for the food it was all right due to having to be warmed up but the the fish house still remanes one of my best places to get fish and chips

i made a order that was over £30 and both of the cod and chips was completely wrong i order the cod to be skinless and boneless and both came with skin on and i made this exact order 2 weeks before and didnt have a issue and i even left a note ive made 211 calls and every single 1 went straight to user busy well thats a lie because no one was on the phone when i went there i even made calls outside the shop and no phone even rang

The food is always really good and the curry sauce is great and is not gravy based, always a great service

Amazing staff who are always really friendly. Tonight when a trainee was doing the sauce a tall guy was being really kind and supportive and reassured her after making a minor mistake

Despite us having the correct address and Postcode on the app, the delivery driver was sent to another house on our road(we are 17, he was sent to 117) We confirmed that we were in fact no. 17 and from this point it took him 30 minutes and several phonecalls to find our house, which was on the same road as the first place he tried. He attempted to deliver to no.17 in various other roads and was unable to find our property until my Husband waited outside for 10 minutes directing him on the phone.

On time-ish. The delivery time kept being pushed back and back.

We had 2 meals one was very good the other was poor the small fish was dry and the batter was hard .

Fish was so good you could tell it was fresh and the batter was cripsy and tasty jumbo sausages is a classic so it's also good chips could of been slity more cooked but still good

This place has the freshest and best fish in Southend. The chips are always bang on It's not a restaurant but you can still sit and eat. Really good value. Highly recommend.

first time ordering from this place and their curry sauce is 10 out 10 amazing and the portion size for chips is crazy the medium is more like a large to me will definitely order again soon

Good service from restaurant and delivery time was due to just eat drivers not being around but food was lovely

over 2 hours after ordering still no food delivered. 20 mins after calling food turns up, STONE COLD! asked for refund no refund given never using here again what a waste of over 22 pound for fish and chips that want in the bin

The chips here are the perfect amount of crisp and soft on the inside, staff are super friendly and the curry sauce is the best thing I have ever tasted.

One of the best fish and chips in Southend-on-Sea. Go for the special, enough for one, .very generous portions. I always go here Well recommended. Parking outside if you miss the school run at about 12

Great food, gluten-free options, and the staff are very nice. Never get an order wrong. Never a long wait despite the fact they are always really busy. Bit more expensive than some fish and chip shops, but I've tried a few others locally, and they don't compare. Best curry sauce!

Food was over 1hr and 30 minutes late so we had to buy more food as the children were hungry so £30 take away cost us an extra £15 so will not be recommending just eat or fish house. It was NOT the driver's fault as when food did arrive it was hot

driver went the wrong way for 10 mins food arrived stone cold when I asked the driver questions he said he does not speak English. I don't think multi drop is acceptable if it is in two different directions from the restaurant. I want a refund on delivery fee and service charge not just my food. this is making a good restaurant look bad and I hope they complain too.

Food never arrived! Watched driver stop on map at different road and mark as delivered! Called take away but they couldn’t do anything as just eat driver. Takeaway then shut so we couldn’t get dinner! No one to complain to just a standard email saying just eat would look in to it. Won’t be using just eat again!

really disappointed today, been going to the fish house for 20+ years but today the fish was literally dripping in yellow oil and the chips tasted old, really chewy and just not pleasant. never been like this but will make me think twice about returning

Discount Tuesday doesn't really work. Discount minus VAT and a Service Charge = a discount that's not worth mentioning. Chips were undercooked, greasy and cold. Very disappointing.

Fantastic, will definitely be ordering from again. We had intended to do a pickup before realising we could have it delivered to our house instead (much prefer a delivery after a busy work week!) partner was very happy with the vegan fish too. Recommended 😁
