We went to get food from the flames smokehouse Ltd however it seems to now only serves chips and burgers but no steak whatsoever.

Lovely venue. Welcomed us and our little pooch. Had some good banter with the owner. Family owned and ran, and a family they are too. The main man definitely puts his money where his mouth is saying 'if its not some of the best food youve had I don't want you to pay'. It was worth every penny and the price is reasonable for the quality you get. The owner is very passionate about his business and it was seen and reflected in the food. The lady working was so lovely aswell, felt like we knew them. Down to earth people.

Couldn’t decide what to eat tonight so gave Flames a quick ring to check they had brisket available. They did so I walked over to be greeted by a friendly and talkative team who were keen to tell me how they smoke their meat for hours and hours before it’s great enough for us to eat. They also gave me a taster of brisket & gravy so I could taste it whilst I waited for our meals. This place is fantastic as so is their food. I certainly recommend it to anyone. Thanks very much!

We just moved to Failsworth and we found this amazing place whilst exploring the neighbourhood. Highly recommend their Magic Manc burgers and chicken fries. They are massive and extremely worth the money. Top customer services, very rare these days. Highly recommended.

The most incredible food is right here! Since coming back from an America trip a few years ago, I’ve been looking for a place that does amazing smoked meats like brisket, burnt ends, pit beans etc. I’ve tried a few places now but this is BY FAR the best! I travel from Warrington every other week for this food. Even takeaway is an option and it’s still delicious when I get it home, in its foil, with 10 minutes in a preheated oven. Don’t look further, just try here!

Friendly as hell staff is only the ‘welcome mat’ at this amazing food heaven! The quality of food is just indescribably good, you have to come and try it to know what I mean. Smokebox Burger is absolutely huge but even then, the quality is brilliant.

Well, what can I say, this has to be one of the best meals we have had in a long time. We had a good selection from the menu 5+ stars for everything. Pulled pork, brisket, burgers, chips, coleslaw just fantastic. Thank you.

I have just had the crackle burger, and I have to say it was absolutely amazing. Pulled pork was soft and silky smooth, and the pork crackling was crunchy and so very tasty. Just amazingly good. It is going to be enjoyable going through the rest of the menu.

Not when you consider the quality you get, free local delivery and even free deserts when they are on offer Flames is top notch. Portion sizing is more than generous. When you consider other big, chain branches, the food and service far exceeds what they offer. I think Flames is the little gem tucked away which deserves more recognition.

Amazing food, once again! Only our second visit to Flames (absolutely gutted that we've never been before, despite it being only 10 mins away!). A family run business, from a family that obviously puts their heart and soul in to it. The food is INCREDIBLE, the portions huge, and the value for money is amazing. I'm dumbfounded by the less than excellent reviews because we eat out A LOT and have never come across food as delicious and tasty as this. We'll be back soon!

I honestly tried to find a problem with this place, but the whole experience, from the warm greeting from the proprietor to the end of the food, you feel like it's a different experience. The quality of the food is sublime, everything cooked to perfection and prepared with such precision and detail that you almost forget that you're having a takeaway burger in your lounge. The owner was very excited and happy to tell us the story of how he got the idea to start this business. Upon hearing we hadn't been before, the owner, as he wanted our opinion on them, he handed us a taste of their Pitt beans, which were incredible. The taste is almost impossible to describe except "wow!" Overall, if you're after an upmarket burger, full of flavors, and sides that will blow your mind, then this is the place for you. Just had a flames burger, brisket fries and some chicken chunks, food was AMAZING. Burger was perfectly cooked, it came with pancetta but I didn't even notice it as I was fixated on how good the burger was, perfect might be an understatement. We got the last order of brisket, so our fries came loaded with quite alot of it, that too was pretty great, fries smothered with melt in the mouth smoked brisket in gravy, nomnomnom. Fantastic , flavoursome, quality quality quality food. Decent portion sizes of food that really gets your taste buds going. If you are looking for cheap quality food this is not the place for you. Owner Jay knows his stuff and you can tell he only uses quality ingredients. Awesome selection of burgers and some fantastic smokeboxes which are my current favourite. We ordered again on Friday night as a special occasion and we were not disappointed. Highly highly recommended to anyone in the area and worth a visit if you are not local.

I visit Flames every time I'm in Failsworth and I'm yet to be disappointed. I find myself spoilt for choice most weeks as there's so much to choose from and always something new to try. The quality of the food here is unreal! The staff are extremely friendly and if you're ever in Failsworth this place is a must. 5/5

This is probably on the top 5 burgers I’ve ever eaten and I like my burgers. Service was super friendly and chatty (just like we Spaniards like it) and we were given some bits to try before ordering. I went for the Mega Manc and it truly was cooked to perfection, pulled pork was incredibly tender and smokey, pancetta to die for and the fried chicken was just perfect, crispy and moist at the same time. Burger-eating experience at its best. To top it off they treated us with some spicy chicken chunks and dessert was on the house too (Glad to see businesses that treat their clients so well, big up!). Hats off to the owner and his team, be sure we’ll be coming back for more. Best burgers and smoked meats in Manchester for sure.
