Very disappointing ...Owners of this business be aware! I am a frequent diner at your restaurant and has been my chosen fish and chip restaurant for my visiting family and friends on a regular basis, with the usual staff very helpful and accommodating. However on Saturday 12th April, late lunch time, I arrived with family (6 in total), The restaurant had 8 covers and the rest of the seats were empty.Two young ladies were stood chatting on entry, and I asked if we could have a table for 6. One young lady said " have you booked? I hadn't because I always call to book and I am always told " just come in, it's fine". One girl said, I need to check.she returned promptly saying " My Manager says "you will have to sit separately". I had a 4 children, aged 2, 7 9, , and 12, respectively. I said could two tables be put together as there is hardly anyone in, she said " No, my Manager said not, anyway a couple of tables haven't been cleaned!". We said thankyou and left! The 'Manager'..a dark haired gent was in the adjoining shop, so I explained, and he said " The problem is, we can't move tables as the floor is uneven." I explained that I dined here regularly, and the tables to the left are often accommodating larger groups, but the staff are just stood chatting, but can't change a table setting? Change of plan ...Blakeleys here we come! and a £122 later, welcoming reception ( even though they had reservations and were busier), beautiful food, and staff absolutely on the ball. Sorry ..serious rant, because of lazy, staff and poor Management decisions on the day. You usually do so much better, and is usually managed better, by staff usual Manager. Improvement to attitude required.

Tons of floaters in the vinegar and it was cloudy looks like it's been spat in and that was the same on every table!

I visited with my mum and the food was Absolutely delicious I had the cheese and jalapeño bagel with cream cheese, rocket, salmon and avocado superb and the premises are lovely remember to take an ugly mug with you in exchange for a coffee

The food was excellent and the customer service was brilliant. The people there were very friendly and patient. A worker there called Salim served us today and his service was great and was very cooperative. Overall this was a fantastic experience and I would definitely come again and recommend to friends

Entró hoy para un almuerzo rápido alrededor de las 12 ish. Probé el bisonte de raison y canela con una taza de té y para mi primera visita fue uno de los mejores bagels que he probado. El té no era nada especial, muy similar a lo que obtienes en otro lugar, pero el personal era muy agradable. Siendo nuevo en el área, definitivamente volvería a visitar.

The food is so good, you can add whatever you like, its so tasty and service first class. Very clean :)

King chips tiene muchas opciones de salsas, lo que lo convierte en un excelente lugar para tomar un refrigerio y comerlo mientras viaja o simplemente cruzar la calle hacia los jardines del museo y disfrutar de su refrigerio cálido y delicioso.

Went in was 30min before closing time staff where more interested in closing than serving, waiting in line to be served staff made no effort to serve me ended up walking out.

Reasonable prices and decent food but we stood in the queue and waited and waited. Next time think we will give it a miss and try somewhere else.

Ordered from here a few times, always been nice up until i took a bite of the “supreme” burger last night. Been throwing my guts up ever since. Not fun!

Ordered a 6” rotisserie chicken meal deal, cappuccino and crisps Cappuccino was just hot water and milk,, sub was binned as chicken had the worst aftertaste, either boiled, left to stand, old, no idea. Only decent thing was the Doritos crisps Last time ordered from here £8 in the bin or most expensive packet of Doritos

A good choice of sandwiches and drinks and sweet stuff. Handily placed near a shopping arcade. Lots of footfall. Reasonably priced.

Worst chips I’ve ever come across. Soggy & greasy. So poor! No batter left on the fish, the paper had absorbed it.

Nasty people there. Waste of time they say come at 6. Then come at 8. Then come bk tomoro. Then come bk next day. Horrible nasty was holes.
