Subway - South Cave in East Riding of Yorkshire

We were served by Charlotte and Michael (South Cave Branch) over recent weeks and on both visits it was service with a smile. These two made us feel welcome and provide excellent customer service. Clearly a very well run and clean establishment who take pride in customer excellence. Excellent fresh food and nothing was to much trouble. We will most certainly be returning.

Relatively new to Subway I’m unable to compare with other outlets, but the service, cleanliness and food at Sth Cave is excellent. All of the staff are outstanding, especially Kev who could not have been more helpful in my first use of their App.

This subway counter is inside a BP petrol station, there's nothing really exciting to say about the subway itself as it's standard subway fayre, but the garage is interesting! Wide range of foods, some local, and fresh produce on sale as well! Worth a visit.

Half my meatballs were reheated from a previous batch to which they were rock hard and burnt. They shouldve been thrown away. The other half normal and fresh. Sandwich had to be throwm away. Cheers for that. Disgusted considering the price. Who repeats food and serves it to customers. Hope you'd be happy with the lack of care towards your food. My daughter saw but didn't realise when she ordered it.

Very clean shop with lots of choice and the wine I bought was fabulous. I went in because I was completely lost and the efficient young lady at the counter gave me really good directions to get home . Thank you so much

Great food, friendly staff and exceptional hygiene. As subways go this is one of the best ones I've visited.

I visited when the facility had just opened and the staff were still in training. The usual subway fare.

Good little addition to this petrol station but slow service as only one member of staff on. Not too bad though

Used to work there so it might be slightly biased but the foods alright if you don't know hows it's made and the things they do that they probably should not. Might have changed now.

Been a while since i last went to this Subway and i think since my last visit they've got some new members of staff. I asked for a certain sub but swapping one ingredient for extra cheese which was kindly given, however the meatballs i noticed were cut in half so i got half the amount i should have got. They were also individually put into my sandwhich so i got no marinara sauce with them either. As the woman put grated cheese in i asked for my 'extra cheese' to be the sliced stuff (the picture of my sub had sliced cheese in anyway so she made it wrong anyway) but she already told me the extra cheese was added, then proceesed to bin half the grated cheese (why?!) and put some sliced cheese in. they toasted it with the grill door open so it wasn't that warm either when i was eating it. I asked for my points and scanned my card but 2 days later both my and my friend don't have our points either. Won't be going back here. useless.

Called here for a quick take away sandwich, to save time before going away. Good choice like all subways. Just felt a little rushed when trying to decide what I was wanting.

Great service... as with all subways you have to wait for food as prepared fresh. A special mention for Kirsty as she has a great customer relationship. Good value for money. All staff very obliging and wish them a great future Regards Josh

Be careful with your timings at this subway outlet! Googled opening times on the way home from Hull to read this doesn't shut whilst 8pm..... managed to get to store only to find it was shut up with staff hanging around for for a staff meeting at 7.30pm.. when asked why they were closed I was informed this was for a staff meeting.. well surely these should be held after closing time and not when ur store is advertised as open! False advertising and poor customer service especially when we past other eating places to go there!

The first time we have had breakfast with poached eggs as opposed to the scrambled egg... much improved! A nice breakfast on the move... thank you

Another tick in the box for this chain, the meal deal on a salad and drink very good. Always dependable wherever you are in the country, parking and access easy.

We've used this Subway a few times now - usually after filling up with fuel and on our way somewhere.

We call in for a sandwich to take with us if we are going any distance because it is convenient and reasonably priced.There are always a few people either in the queue or eating at the tables,inside & out.The staff are efficient and pleasant and keep everything clean.

It's clean, the staff are courteous and service is fine. The food is not expensive but it's not very inviting and has a typically bland taste.

Its a garage its a shop its a subway but its clean friendly the staff are faultless best subway I've ever had .

Hard to find anything to complain about here, I have had a 6" sandwich and a coffee for £3 twice now. They are prepared freshly in front of you and have more salad and olives etc. than you can fit into the bread. Had to queue for a few minutes the second time we went as it was very busy but the staff were fast and efficient. Highly recommended for good value takeaway or eat in sandwiches.

I use this establishment within the local Sewell Petrol Station as it is local to me. I always find the staff very helpful, and the food gorgeous. Its a lovely pleasent place to have a snack, and you can also sit inside at the lovely seating area, or on a lovely sit outside.

Given it a couple tries since opening because its local to us.Unlike the above review i were served by one of the older employees and thought she were very snappy and rude making me feel like i were putting her out asking for a sandwich,the younger girl on the till was however very pleasant,on returning a 2nd time the same rude woman served me again and her attitude was even worse to the point i was going to make a complaint,jeez if you hate the job that much leave simples.

I have always said that staff make a place and this is certainly the case here... the staff were friendly and pleasant... and great at their job! They knew their stuff and the sandwiches were excellent too!
