The best restaurants in Ardsley and Robin Hood Leeds Yorkshire and The Humber

This has been our regular takeaway now for many years and it's everything you want it to be. Spotlessly clean, very friendly, reasonably priced and most importantly, the food is excellent. I know people who travel miles to use this takeaway as it's so good and so dependable. I can honestly say I've never had a bad dish and between myself, family & friends we've covered most of the menu! The benchmark by which all others are judged.

Lovely little coffee shop, local to my office. We both sat in and had a Latte - coffee is really good. Friendly warm welcome from the staff, will definitely be revisiting.

Better than previous visit. I had the meat and potato pie. This was really nice. Tender meat in a rich gravy. A busy Friday. Good service. The food good and well cooked. Only thing, warmer plates would have helped.

Best fish and chips in the area, their muchy peas and curry sauce was DELICIOUS! Highly recommend. Meal for 2 cost us less than £15, will be visiting again.

Went last night, the staff in the outside area were attentive, polite & very nice. Lovely food and really enjoyed the cocktails, last orders were called so the staff advised that we could go indoors. We were served drinks and sat down to be confronted by a member of staff who said our attire wasn't allowed. The lady in charge chose to stand by our table, hover round us and ask to drink up. We questioned our attire to be spoken to with such disrespect and discrimination all whilst others in sportswear were allowed in. The lady replied with ‘its not the vibe I want’ turned her back & refused to answer our question about this policy. Shame really when we had been given top service by the staff outdoors, really hesitant to return now.

We've been going here for sandwiches for a while now - the subrolls are always so soft, and they do a great choice of fillings. My husband is a huge fan of the breakfast wrap - great value for money when you see how big it is! Staff are always friendly, no matter how busy it is. Highly recommend!

Polite welcome, decent fish & chips, £9.99 for fish, chips, curry and drink. Would visit again.

We had a table for six with two dogs and had drinks and food. The open fire was on Good atmosphere It was clean and today Happy and welcoming team Food was Lovely. All plates cooked well and all hot and all really enjoyed. A lovely way to spend a cold and wet weekend afternoon.

Usually stay away from low volume review takeaways, but delighted to have chosen this one. On time, piping hot, delicious. 100% recommended, will be our regular Indian from now on.

Usually five stars but tonight a zero would be appropriate. Ordered my usual gyros and my partner ordered a pizza. She went to collect and it was rammed, must have been 15 people waiting. Only one young girl serving doing her best to answer the phone, serve at the counter and hand food to customers whilst staff in the back were shouting at her to hurry up and stop making mistakes. Main culprit was the little greasy chubby guy at the back. She was shaking and visibly on the verge of crying. The three "chefs" in the back were at their stations doing their one job, it wouldn't have hurt to help the poor girl to ease the pressure but no. Barking orders and insults is their game. My gyros was half its normal size, luke warm at best. Chicken was hard and chewy same as the bread and the chips were cold. If could be bothered would have taken it back but that would probably have been taken out on the poor young girl serving. Instead I got something edible from another takeaway and won't be using these bullies again. So disappointed as they were my go to takeaway any day of the week. Makes sense now why there seems to be different serving staff almost weekly!

Visit Monday to Wednesday, and their real ales are £2.50 a pint!
