Kavanis pizza @max in Leeds

Usually five stars but tonight a zero would be appropriate. Ordered my usual gyros and my partner ordered a pizza. She went to collect and it was rammed, must have been 15 people waiting. Only one young girl serving doing her best to answer the phone, serve at the counter and hand food to customers whilst staff in the back were shouting at her to hurry up and stop making mistakes. Main culprit was the little greasy chubby guy at the back. She was shaking and visibly on the verge of crying. The three "chefs" in the back were at their stations doing their one job, it wouldn't have hurt to help the poor girl to ease the pressure but no. Barking orders and insults is their game. My gyros was half its normal size, luke warm at best. Chicken was hard and chewy same as the bread and the chips were cold. If could be bothered would have taken it back but that would probably have been taken out on the poor young girl serving. Instead I got something edible from another takeaway and won't be using these bullies again. So disappointed as they were my go to takeaway any day of the week. Makes sense now why there seems to be different serving staff almost weekly!

Quite busy, great team they made a bit of a mistake but we're more than happy to correct it and were lovely

I have ordered from here many times, both as Pizza Max and Kavanis. The food is always great but God knows what has happened to the people who take the orders. Called to order and was asked to hold whilst they continued to take new calls and came back to me after five minutes. When the young lady did come back to me, she was the most rude, ignorant, flippant and least customer centric person I have dealt with for some considerable time. Appaling telephone manner and should probably question whether this is the most appropriate choice of employment for what seem to be, limited interpersonal skills.

The Chicken Gyros here are to die for. Fantastic flavours and beautifully cooked.

After ordering a chicken gyros and haloumi separately the young man who took my order put it down as haloumi and chicken gyros 🫣 the guy who cooked it (beautifully) soon sorted the problem so 5 stars to him and I would definitely come back 😀, they even offered me a free cake has an apology, thanks guys that's proper customer service

Ordered over the phone to collect the Pepperoni with peppers 12” portion of fries & drink. Quality customer service on the phone. Super Please the taste & the flavours definitely a great shout try these guys out!!

Really nice gyros and staff are very friendly. A bit on the expensive side but it is really nice so cant complain there. The menus say they sell Pork Gyros but i've been ordering over a year now and they've never had it. Shame they dont do delivery as i'd probably order every other day if they did.

food is amazing. preferably enjoy chicken strippers with cheese on them. only a small fee of 80p but makes the difference. staff are well in busy situations and overall just a nice place. the boss of the place is really friendly and is willing to help you in situations. will come again!

Called to order gyros no halloumi got home and got it on not happy as don’t like it and ordered extra meat and they charged me more

Just ordered a cheesy garlic bread and a tomato garlic bread. Disappointed in both. Base was so thin like eating a cracker plus they forgot to put the cheese on. Not sure why as always been excellent before but something gone wrong this time!

Yum yum yum!! We ordered Margarita pizza for my teenager, bacon and cheeseburger for the other half, Il Greco pizza for myself and cheesy chips to share. Everything was delicious!!! And the portions are so big that myself and my son have leftover pizza for tomorrow! ( food always tastes amazing the next day! ). Deffo recommend Pizza Max, great range of food and always scrumptious!

I always get the gyros from here which is always really nice, only downside to it portion has got smaller. Staff always very friendly always smiling & even dancing sometimes haha.

Na not great might have been the time was late but the pizza was undercooked .. so many places to get pizza from need to be good for return customers one visit from me is all this place will get ...

Rang up to place an order got asked to hold! Waited ten minutes and got cut off! Arrived in shop to no apology and clearly the till staffed by someone who doesn’t understand customer service or how to apologise or how to work when there is demand !! Avoid like the plague during busy times !!?

Customer service skills zero rude staff answer the phone ask you to hold then carry on talking to a customer in the shop was left unspoken to for 1 minute 30 seconds Didn't order in the end

Ordered a mixed gyros…what a mess it was, cold and food was hard and dry, clearly just rushed and left there to go cold, absolutely awful won’t be ordering again.

gyros and chips were completely cold, also amount of chips a bit funny comparing to the price, i doubt if i will want to go back

I ordered food last night. Chicken gyros, pizza and burger. I had many guests and had told them about the place. It was outstanding, food was so fresh and piping hot, for the number of order I had the price was really good . Very friendly staff and hygienic take away

Staff polite and helpful .Chicken Gyros was very nice - maybe a bit skingy with the chips .... BUT my biggest gripe is what they charged for a can of Diet Coke - £1.40 - absolutely disgusting and a total rip off - shouldnt be allowed 🤬🤬🤬 that's the reason for only 2 stars ⭐⭐

WOW ,WOW, WOW. World class pizza. Flavours are magnificent. Cooked to perfection.I could taste something special in the base. It was my first time to order a pizza from Pizza Max. When I had the pizza I rang them again , I spoke to Mehrdad, the manager, I asked him who was the Chef? He said Hossain. Now I would like to appreciate Hossain for the lovely and tasty pizza he made and also the lovely management. They really care about the quality, hygiene and customer service. I highly recommend this place to order over and over again.THANK YOU FOR YOUR WONDERFUL SERVICE

As far as takeaways goes, it's definitely the best in LS26/WF3 for that sort of food. Reasonably priced for high quality food

Expecting to go here on a Friday and enjoy it after all the reviews but the staff were not welcoming at all, the girl serving was so rude and just stood there, pizza was awful and so cheesy, chips were undercooked and cold, don’t recommend at all!

I would not recommend the pizza from here. Visited 8pm on a Tuesday. Braved the crowd of rowdy young teenagers outside as the reviews were quite good. But I was disappointed. Food hygiene excellent, friendly service, topping quality good but pizza base heavy and disappointing. Also too much cheese and not enough tomato so that it was almost impossible to taste any tomato at all. There is much better to be had within a few miles.

Paid £9.90 for a pizza and chips, and it was one of the worst we've had. There was nothing special for that price, just a free hair in the pizza. Rubbish!

Quite possibly one of the best pizzas I've ever had. Quick service and always fab. Even better is that they do half and half so you can have two pizzas in one

Cheap food, good pizza not much else to it

Ordered chicken burger supreme with bacon, mayo and cheese. Very tasty but could not find the cheese. Also it was suppose to be on a bed of salad, do you call an egg cup full of lettuce only a bed of salad?. This was disappointing but the taste and quality of the chicken, bun and chips where lovely.
