The best restaurants serving Default food in Moortown Leeds Yorkshire and The Humber

Max behind the bar on Thursday last week was an absolute gem despite being alone all night and the queue being as long as the length of the bar for pretty much all night. Thanks Max.

The best bar in Meanwood. The best outdoor seating in Meanwood. Some of the best beers in Meanwood. Very relaxed atmosphere, very pleasant staff. Definitely worth a look, check out the Meanwood Tavern and then settle down in Alfred for the evening. Not somewhere to come in a large group but family friendly and plenty of space for small groups of friends.

Hairy pizza and the phone number on just eat is out of service so you can't contact them.

Marlene was incredibly accommodating and very friendly. I asked her whether they had any spicy tuna rolls left and she got right to work making us some there and then! Amazing food, lovely staff.

Fantástica comida casera. Los bocadillos de carne salada son increíbles y la sopa de pollo es deliciosa. Tenía hígado picado y lagos para llevar recientemente y recomiendo encarecidamente este agradable café familiar.

Hemos venido aquí en grandes grupos familiares desde que se inauguró y las últimas visitas en particular han sido excelentes. Para nuestro numeroso grupo con edades de 2 - 85 años , algunas intolerancias alimentarias y requerimientos dietéticos esta es una gran opción para complacer a todos, y también buena relación calidad-precio para North Leeds. También hay un amplio aparcamiento. Nos dimos cuenta de que no era tan bueno después del confinamiento, pero ha vuelto a formarse para nuestras últimas visitas. Ambiente acogedor para un pub tan grande, con buena música y una noche llena de preguntas los miércoles.

G-Woo has a wonderful vegan menu, best vegan prawn toast I've ever had, honestly dream of it regularly, great sauces/ tofu, and I can't wait to be back soon. My Dad is celiac as well and he was over the moon to have a full Chinese meal that catered to his gluten-free needs, the staff were very careful, kind and thoughtful with their service. The food and atmosphere were both exceptionally good, looking forward to our next trip, or takeaway!

Lovely food in the main restaurant, and then had an icecream from the outside kiosk - both had great vegan options too. Parker and Dan were great for ice cream recommendations (sorry dan, parker was right with the chocolate orange!). Will definitely visit again.

Went down for Sunday lunch today with my mate, got 2 beef. it was incredible. Service from Oli was immaculate, such a nice guy, with a wealth of knowledge and a lovely smile! 🤭 Sat on the terrace in the sun and had a lovely afternoon. Would highly recommend👊🏻

We have tried a few takeaways in the north Leeds area since moving to Alwoodley and this one has been the best. Our order is pretty tame we usually get sweet & sour chicken Cantonese style, crispy fried beef, prawn toast, egg fried rice and salt and pepper chips. It always hits the spot and we wouldn’t go anywhere else now. They do delivery and the price is really reasonable.
