Three Cottages Cafe in Leeds

Really enjoyed our evening at the cafe, food was fabulous and service from Libby was really friendly. Highly recommend

Went as a group of 5 to try the evening menu. We were seated promptly on a great sized table for our group. We ordered drinks which Maggie prepared and brought out quickly. Libby then took our food order and served us for the rest of the evening. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. We all commented on how enjoyable it had been and would definitely go again.

I generally try to avoid giving bad reviews but we had a bad experience here today. Poor service and poor food. Upon entry, you have to wait to be seated - but there’s no one there to greet you, so we were standing around trying to find a waitress to ask. Service at the table was slow and apart from one waitress who was the youngest one working there who was attentive, the staff were all really disinterested and quite unfriendly, and unapologetic when they brought the wrong order. They also brought a dirty glass with one of the drinks. The food wasn’t great either. Ordered a club sandwich for £15 and the chicken tasted processed and cheap. Also had a poorly made latte. Overall, not a good experience for a £50 lunch. It’s a shame because it’s always going to be a popular spot because of the location but it could be so much better. I’ll avoid for the time being.

The first and last time that I will visit this place Very overpriced Bakewell cake slice £4.50 was more like a tray bake, dry and tasteless Pain au chocolat £3.50! Massively overcharged for an item that was probably bought at Waitrose for pennies ! Visited today. As a vegetarian it’s hard to find a decent Sunday lunch. However the lunch here was exceptional! Stuffed onion, Yorkshire and the whole kaboodle! Loved it. Attentive staff such as our host Libby. Loved it! , will be visiting again for sure

Not a great fan of this cafe. We only visit because it’s handy and having had several unacceptable coffees and on one occasion being told they had run out of coffee we stick to ginger beer. However today took the biscuit. We waited as instructed but could see there was no one taking orders. I went inside to inquire and was told that the girls were there and we should wait. The queue grew and I went inside to tell the man that there were no girls as he called them there. He told me that the queue was for ice cream and when I pointed out that there were two groups of people waiting for meals he told me I was wrong. He knew because he worked here. He showed us to a table. Meanwhile the girls came in through a back gate. I said see the girls weren’t here. His response was that they had been fetching something for a customer and walked away. I commented to my friends that they weren’t carrying anything. He stormed over and told me I should be more patient and show some respect for the staff, I asked him why he couldn’t show more respect for his customers. He yelled at me. GET OUT YOU RUDE LITTLE BITCH and stormed off, He had not only been unwilling to admit that he was wrong about the people in the queue not wanting food or that I was correct when I said there were no serving staff there. If as he said they were getting something for a customer why did he insist the girls were there. Needless to say we left and will not be returning

We wanted to sit and have a couple of soft drinks with my grandson whilst in the park on a hot day. It was table service to do this or take away only. We ordered 2 diet cokes. The waitress asked if we wanted halves or pints and we chose halves. They took ages to come but it wasn’t Diet Coke. It was rolla cola or equivalent. You have to pay straight away despite being table service and its card only. The cost was nearly £6. Ok you get to sit at a picnic bench, there’s overheads etc etc but even proper Diet Cokes can cost 25p in multi packs available everywhere these days which we weren’t even given. This really is a shocking rip off🙁

Three middle class old ladies stopped for a ginger beer. Waited to be seated but no-one obvious around. Some discussion about whether to wait at kiosk or ask in shop. Anyway a man showed us in then became extremely abusive called one of us an old bitch and told us to get out! We remained polite throughout. Great customer service not.

This place is a shambles, very very over priced food to be sat there waiting for it for 45 mins two Sarni with fries . If i had not paid at the table id of walked out very very rude manager clearly has a stick up his arse about something walks around giving orders shouting at staff who only look young , wont be going back there giving him my money Maybe he needs a few courses on how to treat and talk people .

Booked for Father’s Day meal having seen some good reviews and photos of the Sunday lunches and wasn’t overly impressed. We waited a while and then ordered drinks and food together. The food came out before the drinks. The meat was dry and tough and the roast pots were warm-ish but chewy. The side dishes were nice. Toilets were awful, supposed to be for customer use only but there was always a massive queue, people just waking in to use the toilet and it was dirty. Sadly wouldn’t go back.

Booked a table today for the Sunday Roast. So delicious….I had the Chicken and my friends had the Beef. We ordered some side dishes as well. Cauliflower Cheese, Truffle Mash & Creamy Sprouts with Bacon. The main meal was already a very generous portion with Veg, Roast Potatoes & Yorkshire pudding with extra gravy, Being a nice tough.
