The best restaurants serving Default food in Dalton Kirklees Yorkshire and The Humber

Always really helpful, and part of local community. Good is amazing. Over December 2023, January 2024, had fish and chips, fish bites, and potato scollops. Fish had lovely chunks of cod, as did the fish bites, and scollops were scrumptious, and everything, is such a bargain.

Food was tasty, but it arrived cold , had to heat it up before i could eat it.

The food is always amazing here - today did not disappoint. The restaurant was full and the staff were busy but the staff were super friendly and had smiles on their faces the whole time. Garcia is the coolest server around

The food was amazing and unique. Very good prices too. The fish and chips were nicely spiced and their curry sauce was amazing.

30/04/2025. Whoever worked at aspley subway between 9-10am on this day really needs training!! The bread that was stale & shouldnt have been kept on the premises at all let alone sold to a paying customer, was cut in half rather than cut IN TO which meant the toppings fell out of each side with every bite (I suspect because the bread was so stale, it had to be cut clean in half as it just crumbled) There was a lack of toppings in the sandwich itself also which included just A sprinkle of lettuce, not double the cheese paid for, 2 slices of tomatoes, two slices of cucumber and 2 slices of onion. The ham & turkey salad box was just…. Wow! There was no salad in the salad box, just a mountain of red onions, a boat load of dressing and couple of slices of American cheese, 1 slice of ham & turkey and then a decent portion of rotisserie chicken which was an extra. Whoever did this sandwich clearly never paid attention in training and doesnt care about their job. There are far better subways to order from. This one needs to find new staff!

Four delicious meals and a great pudding. The food was excellent. Service excellent we all enjoyed our food. We will definitely go again. So will our guests

Got a drink soon as we arrived. Seated within 5 mins. Food absolutely amazing fresh and cooked perfectly Amazing very friendly staff couldn't do enough for you. Atmosphere was great lovely cozy place To finish it if sat outside in the very rare sun we have 🤣 beautiful surrounding views Definitely be back

Honestly the best pizzas in the area I get 1/2 and 1/2 meatfeast & spicy chicken. I rang up as I thought they’d forgotten sauces . The sauces got brought to me very quickly for me to realise we did have sauces in the salad box. So ended up with extra sorry . Food is always hot and fresh!! X

We ordered 4 meals 2 roast dinners 1 ocean pie and chicken strips it was delivered within 5 minutes of ordering (not possible) but everything was over microwaved the ocean pie had no fish just a few prawns the chicken strips were like shoe leather it was a total disaster if you're looking for a decent meal do not go here they are not chefs but microwave kids

We had a takeaway and the food was outstanding . Hamza delivered it with care and a smile.
