Atmosphere was great lovely cozy place To finish it if sat outside in the very rare sun we have 🤣 beautiful surrounding views Definitely be back

We visited here on the 30/03/25 for mothers day and to say we left angry is an understatement. Today we received what can only be described as THE ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED A PUBLIC HOUSE. Firstly we arrived early having booked our table for 3:30 and were a party of 4, me and my wife along with her parents. After 10 minutes of waiting we had to ask a waitress who was wiping the table across from us for some menus, so it didnt start well. The waitress asked how long we had been sat there and apologised, took our drinks order then came back for the food order, at this point it was obvious they were massively understaffed! At no point were we advised that there would be a massive wait for food. 50 minutes later our starters arrived, not before my father in law had to ask if they had forgotten about us! We were told they were very busy! 😂 on mothers day? Whod have thought it? Food was lukewarm at best, my father in law left the majority of his french onion soup, my mother in law and wifes prawn cocktail was dry and no butter provided for the cheap dry bread that accompanied the soup. We received our second apology this times from a waiter whos name i didnt get, tattoos and beard, overseas accent, who assured us the main would come out in a timely fashion. One hour and a half after ordering our mains arrived, I once again got an apology from the same waiter, said he didn’t know what else he could say 😂. Main was bang average, if it was the only thing wrong I wouldn’t have mentioned it as it was ok without been amazing. Once again we got a few more apologies from the same waiter, when we paid the bill my wife advised that we would not be returning and his reply was that he didn’t blame us😂 £117 for four two course meals, one bottle of wine and four guiness zeros. If the service was any way acceptable in the modern world the this wouldnt be a problem but surely if you genuinely are sorry for the horrendous service, you would have taken something off the bill however saying that would imply that these people have any knowledge or experience in running a successful hospitality business 🤷‍♂️ Firstly, it’s absolutely unacceptable for a reason for the service being dire to be that you have been busy! Busy is good if you manage the place and staff it properly an establishment been busy is only ever a positive. They should have not accepted our reservation if they were unable to supply adequate service. Worst part about this is that this isnt the first time that Ive received bad service from this place in the last couple of months, I messaged them on instagram the last time as I really didn’t want to cause problems for a local business but after this I genuinely dont care if I do. Mothers day ruined and she was the only reason I came back. If you run this place you should be embarrassed. Do yourself a favour and avoid.

Arrived to 15.30 having taken my mother out for mothers day long wait to be seated once seated no menus given had to ask for menus once we did order we waited 50 mins for our starters we had to ask the staff were it was to be told they were busy. The waiter came over and apologised for the wait, we ate the starter then had another extremely long wait for the main meal. The food was average the waiter came over once we had finished apologised again a good few more times I told him that we would never come back as this was not the first time we had received bad service at this establishment he told me he didn't blame us. No customer service long waits and crap food don't go unless you want to be disappointed and left angry.

Not the best entertainment whilst you wait over 100 mins for food, well that how long we waited before walking out. We were given a basic menu, no vegan menu (even though I said I was lactose intolerant,) nor were we given the smokehouse menu. (I found out about both on Facebook today.) This is the same place I found out about the steak night, despite the fact that I ordered steak. Three girls behind the bar, two very bubbly the third stated she was in charge in the managers absence, was engaging with the men across the bar with amusing sarcasm. At 6pm a family of 8 who had booked came in. Then 50 minutes after our arrival at 6.20pm our starters arrived. My husband ordered spicy chicken wings - there were two of the tiniest wings we’ve ever seen! 90 minutes into our visit we saw just two other plates of food come out, and we asked the girl who said she was in charge “how long our wait would be” she went to check and came back several minutes later advising. “They had a table of 8 to cook for then they could start ours.” We found this unreasonable as we were in first and the response was a sigh, eyes roll and walked away! We felt really sorry for the other two girls especially the petite one, who apologised totally agreed 1hr 50 is too long to wait for food and said “I know it’s ridicules, but we only have one chef on”. We paid for our drinks and starter, no discount offered, and won’t return to this restaurant where a chef is incapable of cooking 10 meals in two hours. I’ve read trip advisor posts of similar waiting times, so ours is not a one off.

Visited the Beaumont Arms for the first time to eat Friday night, great bustling atmosphere. Despite the chilly weather quite a few people were taking advantage of the nice outdoor setting with drinks and food from the smoker. We had seen a new menu had been launched, with lots of choice for all tastes including veggie and vegan dishes on offer. We chose the new sharing slates of meats prepared on the smoker! It didn’t disappoint, with lots of different items including brisket, chicken and pork, jalapeño sausage, even mac n cheese ball, chips and small chilli bowl! We shared 2 boards between 5 people and didn’t manage to finish it all! Excellent quality and value for money, can’t wait to return and try the pub menu!

Called for breakfast. Been before but this was a bit disappointing. Service a bit slow. Had to ask for juice and coffee which was included.

First visit to the Beaumont Arms, went to sample the pancakes, didn’t disappoint! Lovely pub, good atmosphere and friendly staff. Beautiful views from the beer garden, will definitely go back.

I haven't had the opportunity to eat here yet, the setting has stunning views ideal for that special occasion.

Don’t be hungry on arrival! Waited well over an hour for a simple burger !!! No idea on how to prepare food in a sequence - take sandwiches for the wait . Staff lovely though . But grumpy as still waiting ……

Went after we had seen a review on Facebook. So glad we did. Everything was perfect. Food was amazing. Staff were so helpful and friendly. Will be going again very soon.

Came here for the santa experience and it did not disappoint the grotto was so magical the kids loved it. The food to follow was rely good to for the price and came out in good time to say there was a big group of us.

Unfortunately it was so busy , although we booked a table at 7pm … It was at least over 1 hour for our food to arrive , the waitress was very good , but the food wasn’t the best , had to complain .. was offered a free drink , won’t be rushing back , expensive for poor quality food , such a shame as we live local

Went for a midweek meal - 2 meals £15.95 I think it was - delicious and home cooked. Lasagna and the midweek roast. Both excellent value for money and good quality - we will definitely be back.

This is a great place run by a great team. They put on events for the local community and I can honestly say they run this place fabulously and have expanded well over the last 10 years. The only negative feedback on this visit. Halloween night they had plenty of people attending but ordering via the app to table 12 was slow and we gave up waiting for our drinks 45 mins after ordering. (They did reimburse us!!). Fish and Chips on Friday was as usual great but again the two for £15 was not activated in the app. ☹️

Superb meal and what a great price for the pie night. The pies were clearly home cooked along with everything else and very tasty. Staff were pleasant and attentive without being over bearing.

Visited here for lunch and on the advice of regulars, ordered fish and chips from the lunch menu. They had just ordered them and were huge overflowing off the plate. When ours came it was the tiniest thing I had ever seen and would even be embarrassed to put it on a kids menu. Obviously special treatment is given to the regulars. Tables and chairs were also extremely sticky. Will not be returning.

We booked for a family meal for 7 of us on a Saturday afternoon & were instantly impressed at the set up of this pub, there is so much going on, from the food inside, the smokehouse outside & the huge screen playing football, it really was impressive. The two ladies (mother & daughter, so sorry we didn’t get your names) who looked after us could not have been more hospitable, kind, friendly & humorous if they tried, they are literally the epitome of what it takes to be great hosts. Nothing was too much trouble, even my request for the bottled breath of a unicorn was met with a - let me see what we can do 😂 The food was excellent quality, good portion sizes, hot, fresh & tasty. Other people in the pub (regulars you might say) were so lovely, welcoming as well as entertaining .

Update Sep 24: Recent visit for Pie Wednesday which was most enjoyable. The brisket and ale pie was large and superb with the crust itself being very delicious, with chunky chip,mushy peas and extra gravy a huge credit to the team. For a big lad the portion was very filling all washed down with pint of Neck Oil 😋 Previously: Having moved into the area during Covid never had a chance to visit until today. Though based on what we had it will not be the last time. The Sunday lunch must be up there with the best of anywhere. Both the beef and pork were succulent, Yorkshire puddings crisp and big, mashed potatoes nice and creamy, roast potatoes cooked to perfection and veg was cooked just right. Additionally there is a nice selection of ales and all delivered with great service. A must visit. Another visit that did not disappoint at all😀

Great food and nice relaxing atmosphere

The worst afternoon tea I've ever had.! Had to wait an hour and a half for our food, by which time the drinks were cold. The waitress didn't ask on arrival what we wanted to drink just plonked down 3 teapots of tea and the table wasn't even set for the five of us!! Sandwiches were of poor quality and the bread was stale as if they had been made and left out! As you order when you get there these should have been fresh. The cream was off, probably due to being left out too long. All in all a very bad experience, never asked if we wanted more tea or if everything was ok. No apology for it taking so long either. Asked for the person in charge who said they'd make "fresh sarnies" , which we should have had in the first place, we declined as had waited long enough!! Got compensated as I would certainly not have paid for the poor service and food we were presented with!!

Whether it’s Breakfast, Lunch, Evening meal or just drinks, the Beaumont is a great place to go. The staff are friendly and welcoming and always go out of their way to ensure you have a pleasant visit. The events and private functions are fantastic, we have celebrated a family members birthday here! The food and drinks are always enjoyable and good value.

Was there for the Euro final and it was a good night, TV was really good and a good atmosphere.

Went there last week for a party bash. We had a great time and the bar staff was friendly and polite and very courteous. I will definitely go bk again

Sad to say very poor experience food was undercooked and cold cutlery arrived 5 mins after food only one member of staff serving inside and out only 20 people tops in anyway but could see she was struggling lastly I don't mind paying for cash and carry food but at the prices they charge here I would expect better than booker brand

We have gone here many times on Sunday for lunch. Today we went & the whole dinner tasted of nothing, 😭😔 it was truly a let down, that is the 2nd time we've been lately & it was a big let down.all I can think is they've changed chef.certainly won't be going again. We was going to book my daughter's graduation there but afraid we won't be doing that either

Had fish & chips which were lovely. Massive portion, delicious fish with lovely light crispy batter.

My first experience of this place was for my sons birthday and it was awesome so we returned today expecting the same. While the food looking really nice when it came out, the chicken burger was tastless and strangely tasted like water (Sounds strange but it's the only way I can describe it) as for the lasagne my partner could not eat it due to the amount of salt. I hate saying this but the fries should not be the highlight of a meal, was gutted as I had been looking forword to coming back to this place and certainly did not like paying £60 for this kind of food. I may return one day on a less busy day and try again but after today it's not likely. The servers where good and doing their best considering how busy it was today.

Was here for a party great little pub

Not been in here for a few years. Nice pub but people were eating and there was a strong smell of fish throughout the pub.

Had our wedding do here in the marquee and everyone said it was a great night. Daniela planned everything spot on and the bar staff and dj were excellent. The hog roast went down a treat and we would recommend this place to anyone. Andy and Julia Watson.

Great place for a bite to eat and a decent pint

We are frequent visitors to the Beaumont Arms, it's great for all the famiky and dog friendly too. The food is simply the best pub food around. Everything is made from scratch, all with fresh produce. Pie night and Sunday roasts are our favourite. Amazing place, lovely staff and fantastic service.

We had heard good things about here and it definitely didn’t disappoint. Food was unbelievable (in a good way). Atmosphere was cosy and warm and the staff were super (we had Jane as a server and she couldn’t have been better!)

We went for our Christmas Dinner. The service was excellent. Attentive without being overbearing. We all got served together and everything was nice and hot. The pub was busy but not overcrowded with a lovely atmosphere. I would certainly recommend this place for a drink or a meal.

Used to be a great place. But our last visit saw the place full of grown up children (underage kids) getting pissed and younger kids running round the place bumping into people without a care in the world. Whoever holds their personal licence & all supervisors need to take a step back and re-evaluate profit over the law. Remember it is against the law to continue to serve someone who is clearly drunk and even more so, underage. Think 25 obvs doesn't exist, more like Think 16!! Safeguarding is below zero.

Called in on the off chance, the lunchtime meal deal looked good value, so I gave it a try, the barmaid/waitress (Hannah) was excellent, the real ale Timothy Taylor’s Landlord likewise, the food arrived quickly and was first class, in summary a great beer, great food, great staff (Hannah) What more could you want?.

Second visit, this time with friends on August Bank Hol Monday. Three of us had haddock etc -we were ‘warned’ by Hannah the fish were whales! She’s not kidding! Fantastic platefuls, beautifully cooked. Fourth person had gammon etc -she said the gammon was really lovely. Really good desserts too. Great service from Hannah. We’ll be back!

Food was delicious and very reasonable. 20% off food and drinks if you ordered on the app, which staff were on hand to help. Lovely outside area with a barn, tippee and bar for events. Definitely worth a visit.

Really wanted to give this the full 5 stars. As recent arrivals to the area we've loved exploring all the new places. We went to check it out with a view to taking some friends in a couple of weeks. We checked the reviews which all seemed great so Sunday we booked in. Now I won't diss the place on here as it was a simple case of human error and for me it's not 'the 'problem' but how it's dealt with and Hannah really came up trumps so we have confirmed our booking for the next bank holiday and hopefully those 5 *'s are just a few weeks away. Great pub, staff on the ball too

Good pub, good place to go for a drink or a meal. The only thing that spoils it is the massive unsightly marquee which takes up most of seating area and an eyesore, which is a shame with the view of the surrounding farmland which attracts people in the first place. Maybe it's to boost income but it doesn't do the place any favours, and now attracts the wrong kind of people who let kids climb up the marquee like wild animals. I know this now turns many people away from coming and go to other pubs in the area. Shame, and the reason I scored atmosphere low.

Been here regularly recently (April/may) 2013, still never ceases to amaze me on how awesome the food is, all set in an olde worlde type pub, with loads history from the place all set in beautiful countryside next to a country side church what really sets off the ambience, definitely well worth the visit,

If you want good service avoid this place like the plague! Kitchen can't handle when it's even slightly busy. Service at bar isn't much better either. What's promoted on social media and what's delivered in reality are worlds apart!

I visited the Beaumont Arms on a tea time, the beer was excellent, as it was a nice day i sat outside where it was quite busy. I will be back again very soon.

I love it here. The food is first class every time, great service and atmosphere too. Its not cheap but the quality delivered is worth every penny! I had the rump with asparagus side. Also the Korean barbecue cauliflower starter had at same time. It was gorgeous! The food here is amazing and worth a visit if ever nearby!

Met up with family for Sunday lunch .we're not local so this was our first visit but definitely not the last.probably the best pub Sunday lunch I had.delicious lamb and perfecty cooked vegetables. Only downside was an hour wait from ordering to getting our food but the waitress did make us aware of a delay when we ordered. Well worth the wait.
