Beef burger was dry,overcooked, and no flavour. Bbq chicken was dry and over loaded with bbq sauce couldn't even eat all of it.. its been quite disappointing 😞 I got it from the takeaway on Market Street, Paddock, Huddersfield

This place is traditional. The food is very good. The one thing that absolutely is refreshing is the positive friendly customer service. The young staff are probably all under 21 however their attention to detail and care for the customers is 10/10. This is from an ex restaurant owner of many years. We will be back for sure. I am 80 years old this year. I can remember when I lived in Lockwood aged between 2 & 5 years old eating ice cream from the same shop down Swan Lane, which was then called Rhodes’s Ice Cream. It is exactly the same original recipe that Dixons make now - the best Ice Cream ever. I would enjoy it more often if one of their vans came round Kirkburton area…..

Myself and friends have been going for lunch every 3rd week . The food was very good. Very friendly staff. We will miss going there as the people that have been running it are retiring next week. . We were made to feel at home. Prices were very reasonable too. Needed to book as its quite small and very populor.

I was very much looking to a saturday evening curry which I ordered using the website promising 45 minute delivery. I phoned 90 minutes later to check where it was. The manager denied having received the order, was not only unapologetic but extremely rude and aggressive saying that it was not their responsibility. I spent the next three hours trying to have my payment refunded. In the managers defence he did eventually apologise for his earlier conduct. However, if you value your disposable income, free time and sanity stay well away.

I go here every week for southern fried chicken, it's always fresh, good sized pieces and moist. I've tried other takeaways, but for chicken this is my favourite.

Me and a few friends were working in Huddersfield for a few days and decided to try this place on our lunch. It was way better than any of us had expected. Polite and friendly service, reasonably priced and the food was absolutely amazing. I had chicken wings and chips and I expected it to be average at best, but when it came I was surprised at how delicious it was. We tried to go back the next day but it was closed unfortunately. If I’m ever in the area again I will be returning. Great stuff

Staff were super friendly but some of the products were somewhat questionable on ingredients. Banana milkshake filled with sugar and E numbers is not what I’d expect of a farm shop

Exceptionally good food with brilliant customer service. Their burgers are one of the best I've had in a long time. Dare You Burger highly recommended and the sauces are very unique and tasty. Worth the travel if you live out of town you won't regret it.

I am not a fan of chicken, but the roast chicken breast with peas, gravy and mushrooms is georgous, the beef in black bean sauce is just as good, this place is well worth it, love it
