Red Dragon in Kirklees

I am not a fan of chicken, but the roast chicken breast with peas, gravy and mushrooms is georgous, the beef in black bean sauce is just as good, this place is well worth it, love it

Can't go wrong with chicken curry, sweet n sour or black bean sauce

Thursday 13th August 20. Fried beef in sweet chilli sauce. Wow, rich n thick sticky sauce, exactly what I have been wanting in a take away in Huddersfield. Beautiful meal very pleasant lady serving me. Thankyou for my experience, will definitely call again shortly. 👍🏻 After being impressed with the quality of food over the last 5 months of regular visits, I realised I was being over charged on delivery. Red Dragon say it's 2.5 miles, I say, along with Google maps, that it's 1.9 miles to the address I choose. After asking the owner to check the distance, he still states over 2.5miles. I questioned it again, and he said GO AWAY. Hense why I've changed my rating. Nice, thankyou. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Special chow mein no prawns? Cold food, salt/pepper chicken was coated sliced chicken breast that u get frozen from any supermarket, just salt/pepper granules added. Wont order again.

The food portion is a 5 star. Never had a bigger portion than here. And the food is 3 star wich is a good thing. So that explains why ive give a 4 star.

Called and ordered for collection this evening at 6:25pm. Collected at 6:40pm. Have to say that everything we ordered was fantastic. Maybe it's that we haven't had a takeaway in a long while, but would recommend from thus experience A*

Just got a takeaway from here. 2 chicken curry’s, salt and pepper chicken, noodles, curry sauce, 2 egg fried rice, chips and salt and pepper chips. There were 4 of us and we had plenty. Very good, nice people and I would recommend.

Been using the Red Dragon for some time now and we have never had a below par meal yet. Our favourite is the crispy beef with chicken fried rice and mushrooms in sauce. Long may it continue Excellent. Don.

They never answer the phone after 11pm.used to have them loads 🙄

Second time ordering!!! Beautiful fresh Chinese what more could I want literally BBQ ribs were melt in the mouth. I’m not a fan of sweet n sour but it was nice too we both liked the meal thanks so much we will be back.

This website need updating just travelled there to find its closed when it says its open on Internet on a Tuesday when in fact its the one day there closed so very frustrating

I absolutely love this takeaway but I won't be ordering again. I ordered food at 7pm and phoned to see where it was at 8.05. Was told that the driver was just setting off. 7.30 comes so I phone back, again told that he shouldn't be long. 8.50 still no sign so I phoned and cancelled. No apology, no customer service at all.

Had a delicious meal for our family get together, the food was hot even after taking it home. Very tasty and fresh veg with generous portions. Will definitely be back.

Very tasty food. Our order (salt and pepper chicken wings, spring rolls, egg fried rice, salt and pepper chips, Kung po chicken, 1/4 duck pancakes and prawn crackers) was ready for collection within 20 minutes. The prices are rather high and the mains do not come with rice included, so it can be expensive. However, the portions are large enough to share between two people. Will certainly return when I fancy some Chinese food.

Order sone good at 6 pm ,and was delivered after 8 pm after several attempt's to contact with phone off the hook then got through at 7.50 was told it's on its way ( over 2 hrs ,not very good .

Nice food piping hot, good portion sizes.... Flavour was nice but too many onions, maybe I just chose a very oniony dish lol, will try other things nexf time

We will definitely not be ordering from here again ...we ordered at 6.25pm....its now 8.50pm, two & a half hours later, food just turned up with excuse that there had been a traffic accident! Theres various routes that could have been take to our house, it's only 5mimute drive away

The food is lovely can’t fault the quality of the food, only 4 stars because it’s very expensive, you don’t get chips or rice with your meal so it works out overpriced, the sort of price you expect to pay in a restaurant, when all the other local Chinese takeaways in town provide chips or boiled rice or 50/70p extra for fried rice or noodles where here you have to pay £2.20 on top of the price of the dish.

Worst Chinese ever! Looked and tasted like something bought from a supermarket and warmed in a microwave. Physically can not eat it! 🤢 To make it worse we had to wait ages for it to arrive
