The best restaurants serving Default food in Craven Yorkshire and The Humber

What a gem of a cafe, faultless breakfast, great, friendly service by Bronte and Olivier. No little ramekin of beans here, a good portion in a large bowl, two rounds of toast, two sausages, two hash browns, two rashers of bacon, two eggs, mushrooms and six halves of grilled fresh tomatoes. Sauce of choice. £6.50 excellent value and a stones throw from car park. Highly recommend, will go for lunch next time!

We visited booking a spa day to celebrate my birthday which included lunch. The food was delicious and very well presented with helpful staff. I ate salmon with sticky rice. My husband had chicken with noodles. My husband had an array of mini desserts on his plate. I had a delightful cheesecake.

Recently had a brilliant stay at Crina Bottom B&B at the foot of Ingleborough (one of the 3 peaks). It is entirely off-grid but the owners have done a terrific job in making the property comfortable, clean and very attractive. The bedrooms have been furbished to a high standard and you are guaranteed a sound sleep. The en-suites are large and are like those found in a good 5 star hotel. The chef produces great breakfasts which are substantial enough to set you up for the day ahead. I would thoroughly recommend this superb B&B

The food is out of the ordinary because the owner makes everything herself to her own “secret “ recipes and we were spoilt for choice. The pies and pasties are so much more than the words convey. We took the opportunity of stocking up for supper as well - the lamb mint and rosemary pasty is highly recommended as are the goats cheese and red onion tart and pork and black pudding roll. The cakes are fantastic. I’d do that walk again just for the post-walk rewards…!

Run by two locals, but they have decided to only do top notch foods. I and my family loved the sandwiches and coffee, they also do speciality teas.

We ate here for Sunday lunch. The Sunday dinner was fantastic, lovely meat and a great selection of vegetables. We’d definitely come back if we’re in the area again.

Fantastic as always. Great selection of drinks in this fantastic characterful quirky Bar. A visit is an absolute must.

Had a lovely meal with wine, the Buddha bowl, the seafood/mackerel one with truffle & parmesan cheese fries on the side. The Chilean house savignon blanc was suggested to us even though it was cheaper than the New Zealand. Goes to prove they were not just trying to make as much money as they could out of their customers. A refreshing change these days, & a refreshing wine. ¡El mejor desayuno que he tenido! A pesar de que solo tenía una versión 'vegetariana' del desayuno completo que estaba en el lugar. La masa madre es una gran adición y la mejor masa madre que he tenido. Me encantaron las judías caseras también. Mi marido tenía el inglés completo también y absolutamente me encantó. No veo la hora de volver.

Brekkie brillante en una caja. Gran relación calidad-precio desayuno en una caja para llevar, relleno de ingredientes decentes y servido con una sonrisa. Opciones para verduras a horas más tranquilas y una muy buena selección de sarnies.

Modern, clean lines , and a welcoming bar. A good selection of wines and beers. The glass fronted cellar is a nice touch that you can see from the bar area. There is only 1 minor downside, a single toilet cubicle for men, so if you are planning on downing a few pints, you need to pick your moment. I would recommend a visit.

Great coffee and cake. Hubby had a slice of Millionaire Shortbread and our friend and I had the BEST carrot cake 😋😋. Steve and Trudy welcomed us with warmth and huge happy smiles. They offer a varied breakfast/light lunch menu as well as loads of specialty jams & chutney’s to buy. If we could give The Cake House 10 stars we absolutely would. Thank you.

Great atmosphere and very tasty food at weekends. Staff and customers are all very welcoming and friendly. Would recommend a visit.

We called in for a beer and enjoyed a lovely Sunday roast at the Pinnacle on father's day. Good beers on tap and really good tasty Sunday roast. I opted for the lamb roast and everything was freshly cooked to high standard. The homemade mint sauce was awesome and perfect to go with the lamb roast. I would have liked to try a dessert but felt full have a starter and Sunday roast. Friendly guys that run the place, if we get back to cowling I would definitely eat and drink here again. Thanks
