Great restaurant, brings a different atmosphere to wombourne. Both the owner and the host were lovely and seemed to genuinely enjoy being there, the food was amazing and fresh (you could tell it was made with passion).

Excellent Chocolate Orange milkshake. Young staff seemed more interested in talking than serving. Highchairs and takeaway available.

We ordered a large assortment of special Windmill cupcakes for our Ruby Wedding anniversary party!!! Wow - just wow!!! The variety is incredible and the cakes are as light as a feather - superb baking!!!

Was looking forward to trying somewhere different. In all honesty it felt hurried. Offered drinks on arrival, I ordered Sauvignon and I didn’t get Sauvignon. Sauvignon has a distinct taste. This was some cheap white plonk but definitely not Sauvignon. I had vegetable biryani - it was mainly a dressed outer salad of lettuce with a bit of biryani in the centre. My guest had one of those bright read offerings pertaining to be tandoori or similar. It wasn’t great, we were hurried, the food was mediocre and the wine was dire Would I hurry back? No.

Asked for battered chips but got plain & they weren’t hot. Not usual standard from this place. Quick delivery.

Nice food but holy smoke the people of wombourne are far better off than elsewhere it would seem. Nearly £10 for a breakfast with a single piece of bacon, a single sausage and one egg. £1.75 for one very thinly sliced additional black pudding and £4 for a coffee. Mate had a bacon, sausage, cheese and mushroom sandwich which was well over £10. It also appeared that by paying for additional items on his sandwich my friend sacrificed the two pieces of bacon that were standard….baffled. I will add that the food quality and taste was excellent

We looked at the menu online and liked what they had on offer. We also looked at booking a table online but as all lunchtime slots seemed to be free we didn't bother as we thought from that it would be quiet. So we were surprised at how busy it was when we arrived at around 1.15 on a Wednesday lunchtime. Fair play to the chap on reception as he got us sorted with a table within seconds. The food was delish and couldn't be faulted. The waitress was very pleasant and saw that we were well looked after. The food arrived without waiting too long. We will definitely go again.

Poor - pretty sure it was all re fried we had to wait for it all to be cooked as we went in around 5:15 which I thought was promising but it turns out they must have just been re heating it.The chips were hard and cold by the time we got home less than a mile away in the car. The fish was a third of the size under the thick soggy batter and cold - just read your response I can assure you the review was real ,your food was barely edible and the chips were definitely re heated I get costs are high and times are hard but please don’t call me a liar ! your food is poor- own it and improve !
