Cobra definitely watered down. Food wasn't great, I've had alot better elsewhere however premises was nice and service was good.

Last minute arrangement! Food fabulous and top rate service ,even had a generous top up of coffee and a lovely liqueur at no extra cost.Will certainly visit here again.

We have supported Wombourne Tandoori for years. Service is always good, friendly and polite. Food consistently of a good standqrd. Clean and relaxing environment. We use dine in and take away.

All of the starters were cold and poor quality. The nan breads were hard like they had been cooked and left hours ago. The chicken tikka byriani was ok but the chicken tikka pieces were hard. My husband had ordered chips and they were missing from the order. They were delivered later. He also had the lamb tikka balti. He left it. He said the lamb tasted off and it was watery. Not a very pleasant meal at all. Spent £80 for this meal and it was awful.

Our food was second to none. Our server (younger Ali) is a gentleman. Really nice chap, nothing is too much trouble. Great atmosphere and delicious food

Ordered at 17:48 via Just Eat asking for a delivery at 20:15. The food arrived colder than it should over an hour late. I made calls to the restaurant and was met with awful customer service. Comments such as “it’s busy” rather than an acknowledgment of the poor services. The restaurant also hung up on me whilst I was trying to find out where my food was. We are keen to support local businesses but find it difficult when this is the experience you get (on more than one occasion before leaving a review).

Ordered at 17:48 asking for a delivery at 20:15. Food did not arrive until after 21:15 and the restaurant were awful on the phone. Comments about being busy rather than acknowledging the poor service. They shouldn’t offer the ability to choose a delivery time if they can’t fulfil the requests. Food was colder than it should be on top of the awful customer service.

What a beautiful dining experience I had The look and presentation of the chicken Tikka Masala was like a work of art I ate the food slowly to taste the wonderful herbs and spices which came through so delicate a great piece of well cooked cuisine it really was I'm sorry I didn't take a photo The sweet nan was light and full of taste to top it all off Make an effort to dine there it's a fresh change

One of the naans was rock solid and inedible, chicken in the Masala was dry, the sheek kebab was very crumbly and dry. Usually have a nice meal from here but tonight really wasn't great at all.

Food not good at all. When turned up was missing a meal called to say and the manager said 3 meals went out, they didn’t!! Finally got our missing meal but the rest of the food was cold and not nice at all. The nann breads are more like omelettes and the poppadoms are very greasy. Definitely not 5 star. Wont be using again

Always on point with the staff at the door ready to welcome and take you to your seat. Then wait on you for your order. I love the curry made here... especially the chicken curry.

Long established eating spot with attentive staff who always seem to remember you! convivial, warm and comfortable with an excellent menu including some unusual, but very tasty dishes. the sizzling dishes both smell and taste delightful, and the Chicken Tikka Seremongoli was wonderful and went well with the basmati rice and fresh peshwari naan. Service is relaxed but efficient. Cobra on draught, good fresh coffee, no service charge and on a Tuesday its 2for1 if you prebook by 24 hours. What more could you ask for ?

We love coming here the standards are maintained both service and food. Started with popadoms and mixed chutneys. Starter was chicken purée and mixed chicken and lamb tikka. Very tasty and tender generous portions. Mains were Wombourne special Balti chicken lamb and prawns delish delish. Other half had Chicken Tikka masala yummy. Two light fluffy Nan breads. Everything piping hot Give this place a try you won’t be disappointed. You can afford this on Tuesday and Wednesday offer two mains for price of one Great value great food great staff

Everyone needs to visit here. The warmth inside and the music gently groving in the background as you dig into your hot served meal is an experience I always look out for. I have recently re visited this resturant and I'm pleased to say that the meals and service are still to a great standard as my previous review describes. Please read my review: This has got to be one of the best if not the best Tandoori Resturants in the West Midlands, Excellent service, Incredible food, unbelievable prices. Went as a group and from entering the building we felt utterly welcomed. The staff were so attentive, considerate and fun. We all had different orders and no one in the group had a negative comment. Good, hot food and not small portions, great environment and highly clean facilities. I hate to give a glowing review like this because I may not get a spare table when I revisit.....which will be a regular event. Sorry no pictures too busy eating, perhaps next time.

Finally got round to visiting after recently moving to the area and I can’t believe it’s taken this long to give it a go! The food was absolutely delicious (we went for Chicken Tikka Masala & Chicken Korma) at a super reasonable price. The service was friendly and quick and the vibes were great. Would definitely recommend and we will be back in no time!

We visited WT in January as a family of ten to celebrate my 60th birthday. Our grandchildren were well catered for and had meals made to suit their personal tastes. This month we visited again (as a couple this time) to celebrate our 40th Wedding Anniversary. On both occasions the food was absolutely delicious and thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. The restaurant is exceptionally clean and tidy. The team of people who looked after us were polite and friendly and made us feel very welcome and comfortable. We have been dining at WT since it opened in 1989 and have never had cause for complaint. Whether dining in or having a takeaway, it can't be faulted. Our children have always loved eating here and are now bringing their own children to enjoy the experience. Three generations can't be wrong. I must mention that I had a particularly excellent liqueur coffee on Sunday 11th Feb 👌🏼. Keep up the excellent work. See you again soon.

The food was great, generous portions & very tasty but there was no banter or pleasantries with the staff. When we finished our meal we were asked if we wanted anything else we said not at the moment, then before we knew it the bill was on the table. We hadn't even finished our drinks. The waiter checked the wallet with the bill in 3 times to see if we'd put the money in, it was obvious they wanted us out so we put our coats on & left & not one member of staff said thank you or good night. It spoilt the evening.

All good, however, very rushed to go when meal finished......waiter kept returning to the table checking to see if we had settled the bill. Obviously overbooked with people waiting for tables.

Night out last night after deciding to try it never again .. owner no manners.. place was nice with decor water walls impressive. Some staff ok but general attitude poor and sometimes arrogant obviously didn’t want to be there serving.. overall service was as though we were rushed ,food average.and small portion tikka .poor selection of beers. Would not return would not recommend.

No complaints with the food, however service was poor - unwelcoming, unfriendly and impatient. Visited as a family group (about 12), and the waiter tried to take our order standing at one end of the long table. We couldn’t all hear him and vice-versa I’m sure. One of our group heard him mutter and swear under his breath as he had to move. No excuse for that. Asked for a jug of water and were reluctantly given only a glass. As said, the food was fine and we’d possibly try it again as a couple but at the end of the day there are other highly rated establishments nearby to try.

Overbooked and too busy. Table booked for 6.30pm, waited squashed in the entrance for 45 mins. Took an age for the food order to be taken and drinks and food to arrive. We didn't eat until after 8.30pm. Service was very poor and the floor was filthy. When the table next to us was cleaned they just brushed the crumbs/rice that two children has left onto the floor! We were then asked to leave almost immediately after eating as they needed the table! Food, when it arrived, was fine but the food is only half of the experience. Really disappointed after reading such good things. Won't be returning any time soon.

As a family we’ve been visiting Wombourne Tandoori since it first opened as a take away way back when. Same as everyone, we’ve tried other places but we always come back. Consistently great food, quality service every time, and spotlessly clean everywhere. So lucky to have this in the village!!

Booked table for 7pm said that they had booked it for 8pm asked us to come back at 7:45pm. Finally got seated at 8:10, ordered food at 8:30pm and had to ask where food was after waiting 50 minutes. When food finally arrived it was good. Spoilt a lovely meal.

One of the best tandoori meals we've ever had. Everything was cooked fresh. We didn't feel rushed, nor kept waiting. Everything was perfect. Friendly staff and reasonably priced. Highly recommended. Five stars.

I still rate this place but today’s meal was just about okay. My usually excellent special madras seemed to be lacking in having much meat and prawns in it, and was mainly sauce. Also the additional mushrooms, that whilst only a small additional cost, were missed and not added to it and is still something I paid for and did not get.

Always lovely, tasty, hot food. Delivery drivers are all very nice, and I'm so grateful they deliver as far out as I am.

We had a take out tonight. Been coming here for 4 month's and the food has been great. I ordered the food for 6:15. Arrived at 6:10 the food came out straight away, went straight home and started eating about 10 mins later and the food was cold. Not impressed!

Absolutely smashing Indian we normally order via just eat and we are quite a way away from the restaurant and it always comes hot and fresh these guys know what they are doing in the kitchen everything we order is always sooo tasty and fresh!!

We have been ordered from here now for the past couple of months, this is our favorite Indian takeaway now and we won't go anywhere else. The food is always amazing, they are always early or on time and never late and the delivery people are always so nice. I would highly recommend to anyone, you won't be disappointed 🥰

Lamb dish was very tasty but the prawn balti was bland and watery, not the rich sauce I was expecting. Personal dislike of mine is the addition of salad tomatoes added to a cooked dish?? Will continue the search for a take away balti outside of Birmingham!

Even on a very busy Friday night in December, as the Xmas hols are around the corner, the service was still prompt, food piping hot, excellent presentation, and flavour / taste to die for.

food was tasty but all cold, we had to heat it all up. ordered a naan stuffed with minced chicken but there was no chicken.

I booked the table for 4 a few days prior. It was for my husbands birthday. I’ve been going to the restaurant for many years. When booking over the phone I asked if the 2 for 1 was available on Wednesday 6th December? Yes it was also a festive menu available. I said I would decide on the night. When receiving the bill they hadn’t taken of the 2 for 1 . When questioned they said it doesn’t apply in December. I asked why didn’t the member of staff explain this on the phone? There only answer was did you take they’re name? Thinking afterwards I should have said whoever wrote my name in the diary was the person I spoke to. It really annoyed me. I needed to vent so it’s done. Sorry wombourne tandoori you’ve lost customers . I was made to feel stupid.

This is my first time ordering from here… I Feel bad leaving 2/5 stars but food was cold, looking at the previous reviews it’s been the issue with lots of orders. There’s nothing worse than a cold takeaway other than a re-heated takeaway!

Feed was impeccable! Faultless, one of the best Indians I’ve had and was hot upon arriva. 2 hour+ wait was fair too long.

Excellent as usual. This place has quickly become my favourite place for a curry, had struggled to find somewhere really good after moving into the area.
