Nice fish and chips, best in the area I would say.

No mushy peas with our food despite ordering them.

7.30 pm monday evening cod and chips cod was very nice as it always is very nice chips were a waste of money could not eat them all hard and very poor sadly I won't be returning there anymore something very wrong here

Pre order food to pick up got there and staff look at me like they had never had a customer before order wasn't even started no apologies. Only one other person in shop 20 minutes later order ready. Really bad staff no politeness at all.

Chips were delicious, as usual, and the burger was perfect. It was also early which was perfect because me and my nan were getting hungry ☺

I can honestly say that was the most disappointing meal ever, the chips were horrible, they must of been left over from lunchtime (the only explanation i can think of for how horrible there were) fish was over cooked and dry, the salad on the kabab was brown, basically everything was disgusting. I will not be ordering again.

Sad to say tonight's meal was abysmal mayonnaise when we didn't ask for it, burnt burger buns and slightly chewy kebab normally they do alright but tonight's meal most of the food had to be binned.

Popped in with a couple of mates whilst in the area. Quality chippy, even though they were really busy food was great.

Best local chip shop by far! Been ordering from here for years & alway top quality food. The SFC is amazing & the customer service is excellent too!

Gentleman working at 14:12pm on 01.06.24 was so kind! I'm so sorry I didn't get your name but you served me even when you were closing and I have worked in retail so know what a pain that is! He insisted I stay and offered what he had left! He didn't make me feel anything other than welcome and took the time to ask what I needed. Definitely went the extra mile today and that deserves to be appreciated, I hope you know you're doing a great job and your kindness didn't go unnoticed😊

Just been in this chip shop when a girl of African decent decided that she did not have to wait to be served and decided it is her right to be served before anyone else but I'm so glad that the people serving decided it was fine for her to jump the queue because it has saved me about 15 quid in orders and it gave me time to notice how dirty the floor looked so a big thanks from me and I now know to avoid this place like COVID

Best chippy in Wombourne and surrounding area..The fried chicken 🍗 is excellent..Fish & Chips also excellent..Good service from all the staff..The owners are really nice people.. Always greated with a smile.

Did a fish and chip lunch, some had pies, some did kebab meat and chips and overall no complaints. Guess that's saying you all are doing a great job. My only suggestion is when you do the salad for the kebab meat and chips don't cut it up so small.

Wrong food delivered. Happens every single time with this restaurant. I ordered 1 small mixed meat and 2 large. 3 small were delivered, so I've been over charged. Usually they forget sauces and drinks. This restaurant is a joke. I'd stay clear.

First time visiting this place and has to be the best fish and chips I’ve ever had and for the price was so cheap compared to what I used to pay. Couldn’t praise this place anymore friendly staff and manager very helpful and even introduced us to battered chips.

Had a long day driving so went in for fish & chips at 8.30 the fish wasn't too bad but that was all I could eat the chips were a mix of normal and battered Luke warm bone dry tasted like they had been cooked for hours stale . As the chip shop doesn't close till 10 pm the food should not have tasted so stale at this time . Won't be wasting my money here again my 2 stars were for the fish otherwise I wouldn't have given any

Food was late. I called the restaurant who told me food was on the way. Although they offered an apology doesn’t help that the food was 40 minutes past the time it should have been delivered. When the driver did turn up he complained that my spot light wasn’t working and asked that it be fixed for next time. What a cheek! If the food had arrived on time it would have been light enough for him to find the address. Sorely disappointed with the service this time around. Lost my appetite by the time it got here so I didn’t eat it.

Was in the area so gave this a try. Food cooked to order and well worth the wait. Even have battered chips if you so like. Fish was huge and Chips nice. Well with a visit for good food.

Our favourite place to order from,Halloumi is amazing,delivery driver is always happy and polite. Would highly recommend.

We popped in today and tbf I thought it’s just going to be the same let down sort of chippy. OMG was I wrong. Turns out to be the best chippy I’ve had in a long time. How a chippy should be is all I’m gonna say. Very friendly staff and accommodating. Food was bang on. Are the chips out the bag with a hole in(old school style)Wow brought back memories lol. Firstly, the Chip Inn in Wombourne do offer excellent food and excerllent service. In fact the owner himself delivered the food ,. He informed me I had been charged twice even though he delivered 1 no. order. The owner of Chip Inn he realised there was an error as I'd been charged twice due to a computer error he advised me to contact Just Eat with to get a refund,. That's where the problem starts none of the questions on your 'help' page coveres the problem I have. My firends who have also advised me they have had problems in contacting Just Ea!.! None of the options on your 'help' line applied to me. Please give me a phone no. for Customer Services or even an email address so I can sort out this problem out I would appreciate a reply

It was atrocious, chips were undercooked cold, squashed and dripping with fat, opened the bag and put them straight in the bin, I had a piece of toast instead, that was much more appealing than what I spend nearly £20 on. Will never again order anything from you again, may as well just put my money in the bin as I usually end up doing, no more chances from me in the hope it might be edible.

I've used this chippy on several occasions, usually late on a Tuesday night just before they close. They have always been very accommodating and have even offered to cook a specific item that was no longer available. Friendly staff. Will gladly recommend.

When receiving order unfortunately the plaice was very greasy unable to eat needed to speak to manager 😕 not available till tomorrow, sorry about the plaice normally food spot on Val

I've used and really liked this chippy for years. It used to be the best chippy around, however I recently contracted food poisoning off their Southern fried chicken. I ordered 2 pieces with chips, I didn't enjoy the chicken so gave most of one piece to the dog. An hour or two later the dog was sick. During the night both myself and the dog had the runs. I had to take two days off work. A few weeks ago, a friend told me a similar story, about how it had made him ill. He warned me to avoid and said it's gone downhill. I wished I'd listened to my friend and avoided. It's a real shame because the food used to be brilliant and the staff are usually great too.

So angry I wrote a review how I wasted £50 on food and was coming to see if they had replied but instead they removed the review basically tried them 2 times in one week only nice thing they do is battered mushrooms spring rolls wich are cooked from frozen and the hot n spicy chicken burger (if the don't put too much sauce on so it goes soggy) everything else from the scallops are minging had no potato and were cold the chips were cold and nasty and I originally wrote the review because I ordered 3 piece southern fried chicken and asked for 3 legs and got one which had no meat on whatsoever will be upload the pic on there pictures it was disgraceful and now to come on less than 4 days after to see they got rid of my review probably because there star rating dropped... maybe serve hot n fresh food instead of having it sat in warmers for hours especially when you open at lunch don't sell out and then sell it again at night just make it fresh! Would put 0 stars if I could

Chicken piece had almost no coating on it. Chips were not battered as we had ordered. Disappointed with this as the battered chips are the main reason we tried this place. Donner naan, meat cut thick and not in usual thin slices. Cod was very nice and well cooked.

Unlike the normal quality, this order was slow and the fish in particular was cold The curry sauce like warm Very disappointing, as I normally love the food from here.

Just the usual great quality food

Haddock tasted fresh with crispy batter, however, chips were luke warm and obviously not cooked at the same time as the fish, put them in the microwave for a minute. The potato scollop was all stuck to the paper so it went in the bin.

The food was delicious, the chicken tikka tray was huge and so was the large chips. It arrived way sooner than expected, which was great for us as there was a long wait on food at that time. So we were very happy with that. Great value for money and highly recommended service too.
