We held an afternoon celebration for 60 to celebrate our golden wedding anniversary. Anne, the proprietor, was incredibly helpful throughout the planning stages. The venue is a very cosy barn conversion and perfectly sized for our numbers. The food Anne cooked for us and the well stocked bar made for a perfect afternoon. We cannot thank the Mitchell’s enough for making our special day everything we hoped it would be.

A much better alternative to the soulless corporate chains. Friendly staff, decent rates, good breakfast.

What an amazing start to Christmas. Incredible food . The mango tikka was wonderful. Such friendly service. Comfy and relaxed surroundings. Can't fault this little gem!

Outstanding Myself and 7 colleagues where staying in the next door hotel when a member of staff recommended the Pavilion Cuisine. It's a 9 min walk The name is due to the fact the building is an old Cricket Pavilion. Once inside we were greeted by friendly staff. On a hot sunny evening the restaurant was warm and welcoming. in the depths of the winter it could be a different experience as the decor could be considered a little cold. But don't worry. the food is exceptional . one of the nicest Indian meals I've ever had and this sentiment was echoed by all 6 of my colleagues. Well worth a visit. Highly recommended.

We had a Groupon voucher meal here, to be honest, was blown away not just with the food, the welcoming, hospitality was absolutely top. Beautiful surroundings, food outstanding 👌 Thank all at The pavilion

The afternoon tea here is so lovely, great for a special occasion! Amazing selection of cakes and sandwiches, with gorgeous warm scones. Michelle, our server, was smiley and kind with excellent service.

Really cosy place and traditional in many ways. The service was brilliant the staff were accommodating and the waitress had a smile all evening. The food was home cooked and delicious. I would definitely go again and recommend trying it.

We went here for my husbands birthday and our waitress was Libby, the service was amazing, drinks came very quick whilst we selected our food. The prawn tacos & scotch egg were absolutely amazing, perfectly cooked, the rustic bread was lovely too but a bit too much. We then had steak and salmon which was also delicious. We don't do deserts but I am sure they would have been equally perfect. Thank you guys x

Absolutely fantastic, lamb tikka starter brilliant it was tender and fresh. Chicken madras extra garlic outstanding 👌 highly recommend this restaurant. Staff are fabulous, their attentiveness outshone all of the other restaurants I've visited over the years!
