Very nice area to sit. Nice sandwiches and panini. The 10% service charge without being aware is criminal, though. Tips should be earned and not forced. Would not return due to this

We had our monthly family breakfast meet in the Brabazon Bar and were served by Chloe who was very attentive, friendly and professional. The food is always good and the staff very friendly. The only comment I would make and hope that something can be considered, is the number of individuals working on laptops on a bank of 4 or more seats that left it difficult for 3 of us to find somewhere to sit for breakfast. Maybe there could be an area of single seats for those wishing to work?

We were gifted a cream tea at the Belfry. The food was excellent and the service we received from Michelle was excellent. Professional and courteous, also she went the extra mile to make us welcome. Great experience and top notch service. Would thoroughly recommend.

We were in the belfry today. Ali served our drinks. He makes the best cappuccino I have ever had. It was made to perfection with a perfect heart on the top. Such a lovely man. So polite and great at what he does. Will be returning again and again. Can't recommend it enough Thankyou Ali Didn't eat there today. But had an afternoon tea previously. And can very highly recommend that.

Time is a cruel thing, isn’t it? Once-impressive hotels can so quickly begin to show their age. Decor dates faster than a supermodel’s love life, and soft furnishings, well, they don’t exactly improve with a few decades of wear and tear, do they? Take The Belfry, for instance. The last time it hosted the Ryder Cup was in 1993. Doesn’t feel that long ago, does it? I can still picture Seve, Faldo, Torrance, and the rest of Europe’s finest battling away for three glorious days. But, brace yourself—it's been over 30 years. Thirty! And since then, what's become of this legendary venue? Well, here’s the kicker. The Belfry has been surprisingly well looked after, and the Brabazon Bar is the glistening jewel in its crown. Yes, there are areas where the old girl could use a bit of a facelift—soft furnishings never age gracefully—but the Brabazon Bar? That’s a different story altogether. The bar is fresh, modern, and positively oozes exclusivity. The sort of place where you feel a bit more important just by being there. Gin & tonics flow as easily as the gossip, and afternoon tea is served with a touch of refinement. There’s a certain energy about it, almost as if the bar is the living, breathing heart of the resort. Better yet, the whole place is on the verge of a transformation. The development underway at the hotel and golf course is nothing short of thrilling. You can feel the buzz, like that electrifying charge Seve used to bring to the course. It’s about to be reborn, and, trust me, you’ll want to be part of it. I went in expecting nostalgia, and instead, I found a place that feels like it’s on the cusp of something extraordinary. I’ll be back, and you should too.

Beautiful Bar area in the main part of the Belfry Hotel - A lovely, art deco-esque area that sets and follows the tone of the entire complex. Prices for the food bar menu are a little steep, but to be expected at such an iconic venue, and the sandwiches are exceptionally tasty

Food was good. Coffee not so good. Cost of a breakfast was ridiculous.

Turned up at 7:45am to be told they're not open for coffee till 8am. I suggest you update the information or reprimand the staff for lying to a customer as to be honest the feedback I got felt like they had that 'couldnt be bothered' attitude

Nice to meet and drink with friends. Not too crowded to drink.

It's a lovely little ovals-shaped bar with a sky roof above. It reminds me of when I went on holiday in Spain or on a cruise ship. Friendly staff, good drinks. It's just a little bit pricey, but I suppose it's because of the location.

some of the chairs need fixing as one of the arm chars looked ripped in the arm

Music was way too loud, we were there on a Thursday with work colleagues and you could literally not hear anything being said. Might be for some people on a hen/stag but not for me..expensive also for drinks but that's location..

We had a night drink and food at the bar , ordered pizza , burgers and sandwiches, the food was extremely lovely and the chef went all out with presentation and everything was fresh thanks alot Mr morrocoo good job mate thanks alot hope you get the tip we left you ...

We visited The Belfry yesterday and had Afternoon Tea. My wife is Vegan so we contacted the Belfry prior to our visit and they catered for my wife a wonderful selection of vegan sandwiches and cakes which were delicious and very filling. The scones came out warm and and we had a large selection of teas available to try too. Alison and Michelle were fantastic members of staff, they checked on us regularly, made sure we had everything we needed and we’re very welcoming. Would highly recommend

You could not fault the staff or the quality of food - there were plenty of staff around and the food was superb. We enjoyed a light lunch on our first day - roasted vegetables wraps, tuna sandwich and soup - all of which were delicious. Evening drinks were served in an efficient and friendly manner in a lively and vibrant atmosphere. The area seemed busy throughout the day - lots of people enjoying afternoon tea in the daytime and groups having a pleasant time in the evening - the only negative - it is really expensive!! All in all - a great experience in a nice venue - but make sure you've got plenty of cash!!

Had a nice afternoon tea last week, although it wasn't as good as my previous visit before the first lockdown. Also, we were given one macaroon to share between two, bizarre! I enjoyed the different teas, and would have happily bought some if they were sold on the day. Thumbs up for our waiter, Sunny.

My family treated me and my husband to a afternoon tea for my 60th birthday at the Brabazon bar . We were seated on arrival asked what drinks we would like , but then it went down hill we were brought some of the food out then the waitress said when we ready for scones for our cream tea let her know.We waited and waited then asked another waitress then finally got them after half a hour she said someone else had had ours ! Disappointed everybody else had gone people were coming for evening drinks and we hadn't finished our afternoon tea !!!

We had afternoon tea here today as a gift from my son. Amazing service from Alison who took time to recommend drinks and explain how the the tea would progress. Simple but tasty sandwiches with extra servings as required and scones to equal any I have had at top London hotels. Decent champagne and delicate cakes. Not an intimate venue and quite noisy as the bar is a bit of a passing through area, but we loved the food and that's what it's all about for us. May return to sample the lunches!
