great place great food and drink great staff

Food was disgusting and not worth the money. Waited nearly an hour for 4 meals. I was that hungry I ate the meal but my wife took hers back as the burger was burnt and chips were cold. Refund on one meal. My wife said McDonald's would of been better. My wife was very disappointed and said she wouldn't even feed any animals with the food that she had

Appalling hospitality delivery driver in this hot weather and unable.to use a toilet in the van and come.to this pub and hope.to be greeted by nice people and actually get told no not allowed to use the toilet women that told me no was a older lady with white hair and was very rude. Disgusting making people not use facilties that we all to use when nature calls Highly disgusted with the attitude of staff at this pub

The food was delicious, but we waited a long time for it. Price reasonable.

Hunters chicken was delicious 😋 and was on offer BOGOF.

Love swinging by here after spending the morning Birding on the tame valley. The staff are very friendly and welcoming with a decent pint.

Popped in for a couple of beers after work. Hardly anyone in the bar. 2 beers £9.20. Fair enough. No atmosphere. It was 5pm l, not sure I will next time

Expensive me and my partner went in for 2 pints it came to 10 pound,wouldn't of been bothered but the bar maid dark hair had a attitude like she didn't want to be there was on her mobile phone behind bar ,will not be drinking in here you lost 2 customers.

Old style small pub, great outdoor seating options. Very community friendly, dog friendly too.

This venue is quite in assuming from the outside but is cute and welcoming in the inside. Great mix between a pub and a cafe and super dog friendly. Didn’t get chance to have food here as they don’t serve it on Monday & Tuesday. Lots of parking!

Sunday lunch roast lamb was very good. Great selection of ales. Nice big garden to enjoy a cool evening. Massive car park. Friendly and helpful staff, always worth a look.

Went to go for a meal only to be told we don't serve food on a Tuesday we only serve food Wednesday till Sunday yet no sign up to say this yet a food sign outside advertising the food and menu and no sign on that saying no food available this is very misleading to customers

Beautiful pub great staff and Amazing lunch. My daughter had the fish and was well stuffed. I had scampi which was delicious... Beer garden out the side and back . Will visit again.

Great drinks, good prices, attentative staff, feels clean, we liked the food (we have heard mixed reviews but can only go off our own experience). The pork scratchings are amazing and definitely worth it. Can't wait to go there in the summer

Local meet for Badminton group. Landed there on Karaoke night!...thought Neil Diamond was in the house:-) Staff always pleasant and really nice place to go.

Only ever go for the Tuesday night quiz now, having given it a wide berth for a number of years due to the previous management. Refurb is lovely. Much improved since I worked there many moons ago. Nice selection of drinks and snacks and very good service on a Tuesday.

Welcomed with a warm fire. Staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. There were 3 of us for Friday lunch and we all had the fish, chips and peas. The redecoration and ambience are superb and we would highly recommend this pub.

Very nice really enjoyed it I will be back soon.

Lovely pub had my mother's wake there on 10 Jan 2023 every body enjoyed the food and nothing was to much trouble highly recomend it.

It's not the best place around water orton, but sometimes we can find food and drinks. It depends if you are lucky you can find both, if not maybe the drinks or in the worst case nothing. In general the food is not the best, we order starters but always is the same, you must ask what they have and not everything is worthy, and of course beers.

We sat outside but the train's are a bit of a shock

Lovely afternoon and fantastic food

Where better to take our Staffie? We visited, the Dog on a Saturday lunchtime, it was very quiet inside as most were in the garden enjoying the sun. Looking for a quick bite, we were tempted by the breakfast which comes in three sizes. We opted for the small and the medium. Judging by their sizes I doubt we could have finished the large. It arrived very quickly and was a nice meal, well cooked and presented. The lady behind the bar was very pleasant and only too happy to help. Couldn't fault it.

Lovely pub nice welcome from the manager but unfortunately the freshly cooked Sunday lunch was anything but all veg was frozen mash was instant and meat was warmed up a shame really because it could be a whole lot better

Pub next to my workplace. Had a drink over there for the first time in months. Choice of beers quite limited. Did not take any food unfortunaly so could not rate....might change my rating after i have my first meal there. Cosy place....however the distance between tables seems small and very few people were wearing face mask.

First time visiting this pub tonight and what a little gem it is. Very friendly bar staff, nice enviroment, darts, sport, music. Highly recommened and i will be going back for sure.

Great place for a quick snack and a lovely cup of coffee after walking the dog.

Very pleasant service from the female bartender. No problem to try a Gem by Bath Ales before I bought. A good real ale for £3.70. Plenty of customers enjoying the Guinness. One room was busy, maybe a quiz? Two impressive outdoor areas. I will return using the train so that I can enjoy the beer garden in the sun

This pub used to be always the last pub you would visit in water orton NOT ANY MORE 3 cask ales, plenty of lagers,Ciders etc Owner on site & very pleasant The staff knowledgeable,polite & helpfull WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND

The interior decor is impressive, the beer is ok too, didn't try the food after I herd someone complain, but really that means nothing, the food could be delightful.
