First night on our trip away so hunted for a bite to eat, opted for fresh kitchen due to reviews and dispite not many resent I would strongly recommend and Altho we never got our pot of guacamole and coriander it was still a feast to say the least.
These are large portions of exceptional quality food.
Friendly people with local knowledge.
Wow, what tasty food! Really delicious tomato and aubergine soup, rye bread. wonderfully tasty strawberry ice cream. Can't wait for the next visit to Great Chalfied.
Me and my friend popped in while we were visiting Devizes, can't remember what for now, and I ended up buying some small stones for my mum (agate, tiger's eye, that sort of thing) and as I checked out they asked if I wanted a chocolate brownie for half price (£1) as it was late afternoon and they wanted to sell them. We said said yes and got one each which was a mistake as they were the size of my head and probably contained thousands of calories, Still ate them all. Very tasty.
The shop - they sell wraps and sandwiches to take away, so not a restaurant - is full of really good eco friendly stuff - you can bring your own containers for herbs and grains, etc (And I think oils, vinegars?). They also sell organic tinned produce and chocolate and also have some craft eco soaps and things like that. I was visiting from Shropshire so wasn't looking to buy groceries, although if I lived locally I'm sure I'd be in weekly. The shop was fairly busy, which is always a good sign, although the shop is on the small side they have crammed a lot in.
The owner was really friendly and chatty, always good when people take customer service seriously.
This is mainly a shop, not a restaurant, but can't see a way to change that. Maybe the owners should claim this page and fix that? A probably add a more appropriate photo.
Cannot recommend The Cake Architect enough! We used them for our wedding, and David was amazing from our first consultation, to the day itself. He had amazing ideas which meant our cake's style really reflected us.
Also the flavours are incredible, the best cake we've had! We had red velvet, lemon and elderflower, and caramel, and each one was just as good as the other.
We also ordered vegan cupcakes and they were so tasty. We had so many complements!
You will not regret choosing them for your wedding cake! Thank you for making a perfect day even more special.

Absolutely pumpin venue, big names like Andrew Tate spotted there last week! Gutted I wasn’t there. It’s one of those 1000 bottles of baby oil sorta party 10/10 recommend
My hubby and l visited Malmesbury for the first time yesterday and looked into the cake tin shop. We realised that they sold cupcakes which by the way looked really nice so decided to buy a box of four to take home as it was our anniversary.
They were delicious in fact the best l have ever tasted!!!!
We will definitely be visiting this lovely shop again.
Thank you to the team x
Lovely place, clean and very welcoming. Not a coffee drinker (sorry Nodens) but the tea was delicious and my Mum and I both had the Salmon & Cream Cheese bagel which was so so tasty.
Looking forward to visiting again, keep up the good work.
So good we ate here two nights in a row. Generous portions of perfectly cooked seafood. I particularly enjoyed the tender octopus tentacles with a side of garlic butter that came with grilled veggies and potatoes. With a nice glass of white wine available from the adjoining bar it made a wonderful meal. The sweet chili prawns were also wonderful.
Lots of interesting and unusual things to see in this place, lots of random mementoes and furniture pieces from decades gone by. If you grew up in the 70’s or 80’s you’ll recognise quite a few of them. Nice place for a cup of tea or coffee and something to eat too.
Eaten here many times for work breakfast or a cheeky Saturday morning.
Great attitude, can handle when there busy and that's most off the time.
Staff are all friendly. Eat in or take away.
Will be back soon
The Beeches cafe is a lovely well laid out cafe, with comfortable seating/sofa area, has a well kitted out childrens area and a huge garden area.
The owner Claire is a lovely ladies who bakes fresh cakes every day, cooks fab breakfasts and has a wide range of food/drink options available. Id highly recommend for anyone who enjoys a cuppa and cake! Especially if you have children... Its very child friendly with gates to keep your little ones safe!
Its weekly treat for me and my little one!
My son recently stayed here (pre-booked by the people he was visiting for an interview). He hasn’t got an account with Tripadvisor but insisted I give feedback on his behalf because he was so impressed. The staff were excellent and hospitable and the hotel was lovely. The staff were so kind and drove him to and from the train station. The whole experience certainly calmed his nerves; the Garden House will be fondly remembered and he has promised to recommend you to anyone looking to stay down that neck of the woods. Thank you from Frazer and the wider Cresswell clan.

Found this by mistake but it is a lovely little coffee shop with great service from the very friendly owner. Theatre themed which is great although one or two of the tunes playing were not my favourites but there were plenty of better ones (and we stopped for a while as it was so comfortable). They also have a hanging coffee scheme (check out their web page for details). Have already been back and intend to return again.
Such a lovely spot. Even on a sunny but damp day it was excellent to sip lovely hot coffee, so close to the water. I'll be back for a meal next time I'm in the area. Really friendly, accommodating staff.
