Amazing strawberry ice-cream made out of natural ingredients. It felt as if you were eating a strawberry. The kids and adults enjoyed it!

We spent an afternoon at Great Chalfield Manor & Gardens, a lovely afternoon with the added bonus of having a picnic lunch at Truffleicious. We ordered our food before going in for the 2pm tour of the house, which was just as well because when we returned at 3pm all the delicious home prepared food had sold out. We sat inside as it was a hot afternoon, but if preferred there are so many lovely seating areas within the grounds. We also took away some home made rolls (spelt, rye & carrot) to have later ~ very tasty. Very happy to recommend Truffleicious, tasty, home made food at its best. We will return as we never tried the cakes & ice-cream!

I’m approaching 70. My mother made me banana ice cream once when I was 7. Delicious ; never had anything as good since .....until today. It’s a grand thing when food triggers a fond memory. It was the ice cream of the day , but there’s something strangely magical about this setting ,and the lady who owns it, so I expect she will serve you what ever your heart secretly yearns for. Do. Try It. And I will return.

I have had a great number of treats provided by Jan of Truffleicious -- from bean salads to homemade ice cream to tarts and cakes. It has always been so good! Perhaps my favourite to date is her chocolate brownie with strawberries, although her lemon tart with meringue is not to be passed up either. Or the peach flan... seriously, so many lovely choices, and yet I have never been disappointed. Portions are good size -- you get your money's worth with Jan. All food is take away, but luckily a lovely, quaint NT garden is on hand very very nearby to sit in and enjoy your takeaway treats. Booking is advisable as she can sell out quickly on a sunny day; she is popular with the locals, so don't miss out!

The table we sat at was grubby. As I have cancer we always take disposable wipes to ensure hygiene. A necessary item as the table hadn’t had a good wipe all day. Probably for a goodly while given the state of the small round container that housed the sugar. I was tempted to give it a clean - but didn’t wish to pick it up. Our food order came promptly and was like any other relatively fast food. Acceptable. The staff were friendly and polite and the apple juice very good. The cafe is obviously popular given that it was quite full - but Malmesbury itself has become over-touristy and is in dire need of a sweeping brush or ten. The price was acceptable for three people but next time we shall return to the Abbey cafe.

Called here for the second time en route to the West Country. Lovely all day breakfast - sausages etc for husband - smoked salmon, avocado , salad and two poached eggs on toast for me. Very good, very generous, great value. So much nicer than calling in to Solstice Park! Easy, cheap parking nearby.

Went in yesterday to be greeted so warmly and made to feel at home. I had a flat white coffee which was freshly made and really tasty. I also noted a beautiful smell which was essential oils and that got me asking more. I went out sniffing my arm then returned for another cup and to buy one or two oils. Unfortunately my husband came to pick me up from the car park and so I left without but took 2nd cup as a takeaway. I Don't suppose I will be passing any time soon . But if I did it would definitely be my coffee stop. I learned alot in a few minutes about these oils but I also felt so welcome and so relaxed during my visit. Thank you both such lovely people

My mum and I have been meaning to pop into mirandas for a few months and we finally did today; safe to say we were blown away! The food was homemade and delicious and the drinks were lovely. I would definitely recommend the mint hot chocolate, made with chocolate buttons! We will definitely be back again soon!
