Miranda's Coffee Shop in Wiltshire

My mum and I have been meaning to pop into mirandas for a few months and we finally did today; safe to say we were blown away! The food was homemade and delicious and the drinks were lovely. I would definitely recommend the mint hot chocolate, made with chocolate buttons! We will definitely be back again soon!

Popped in for lunch with colleagues - fabulous cakes, enormous slices and very friendly service. Would definitely recommend a visit!

Visited with my son for coffee and cakes and could not have wished for a friendlier warmer welcome. The coffee was fabulous and my Son's cake (of which I had a taste!) was superb. Will definitely be returning.

We've only eaten here once, having called in for tea and cake, but would go again. The owner was friendly and welcoming, the cakes home made and the food other customers had looked good. A little outside the centre, but well worth visiting.

Lovely salad for lunch and had to have a cake to take away because they looked so delicious! The food is all home-made and well presented. Lovely friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended!

What a great little find this cafe was in Tripadvisor. Our lunch of jacket potatoes was nicely presented and tasty, as was the cake we treated ourselves to afterwards! Staff really friendly. Will be returning

Fabulous lunch at Mirandas before viewing the exhibition in the rest of the building. The food is all home made from scratch with such care, presented beautifully, and is good value! Amazing veggie & vegan options. Very generous pots of tea much appreciated.

Went for a family afternoon tea for my great niece's 18th birthday. Miranda opened especially for us on a Sunday. Everything was perfect and the home made sanwiches and cakes were delicious, couldn't fault it and we made some lovely memories.

My son asked Miranda to make a rainbow, chocolate dinosaur cake for his 5th birthday and she made the most amazing cake just as he asked! Any time I’ve ordered anything from her, whether it’s been cake or lunch etc it’s always been 5* quality and always admired by everyone! I recommend her to anyone looking for cakes as she always delivers the best tasting cakes you will find!! And Miranda herself is such a lovely person and always has a smile on her face! 5* service with 5* products :)

Excellent cafe and Miranda is extremely friendly and helpful and the food is outstanding. She delivers too and I have made use of that during lockdown and shielding. 100% recommended.

My wife and I popped in for a quick snack. We drank coffee and hot chocolate while eating cake. The drinks were good but it was the cakes that made the visit so amazing, they were fantastic!

If you want to treat yourself to either a delicious breakfast with pancakes or some amazing cakes in the afternoon this is the place to go. Miranda servers delicious food and truly knows how to look after you. Will definitely be back soon.

What a delightful coffee shop. It’s so rare to find somewhere that as a lactose intolerant vegetarian I can eat one of the cakes available, yet here I have a choice. . All freshly baked & delicious. Tea is good too & all at a reasonable price.

This is a lovely place to go for coffee, cake or lunch in Trowbridge. The food is delicious and home made, the coffee is great, and the owner and all the staff are all very nice and friendly. Highly recommended.

My wife and I popped in the other day and were really happy with the food, the drinks and the service. We were offered a wide choice of cakes, even one that was both gluten and dairy free ( it was good too). We went in while the pandemic was still restricting things and felt safe. The tables were well spaced out and we saw Miranda cleaning the table before we sat down.There was good access with steps at the front and a ramp at the side for those that needed it.It was a lovely break in our day and a place we'll definitely return to.

In this difficult time Miranda is offering an amazing delivery service of bread, cakes, pies and other meals, pretty much anything you want. I placed an order with her for a few loaves of bread, teacakes and lots of bread rolls to share amongst my family. All was absolutely delicious, fresh and great quality and I have already placed another order for this week.

Miranda makes the most amazing delicious freshly prepared food. Brilliant delivery service too which is so handy in the current circumstances.

I will be putting in more orders to pop in my fridge ready for the family as we all loved the food, proper home cooked healthy meals with amazing service too. HIGHLY RECOMMEND for delivery so no hassle at all.

Took delivery of a wonderful gluten free coffee/walnut cake, it was superb! Everything made by Miranda is delicious, incredible value and served beautifully. I can't recommend Miranda enough.

During this surreal time with everything having to closed, think about local businesses and what you can do to help them. Miranda is doing home delivery on all her favourites, no contact necessary. We ordered a delicious vegan chocolate peanut butter cake. She delivered to our doorstep and sent an invoice. If you can't get/not allowed out but would love a special treat place an order and she will deliver. She's brilliant. Thank you Miranda.

Finally got to visit this lovely coffee shop. Miranda is friendly and welcoming and could not do enough for us. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, the coffee is great and the cakes are exceptional. It offers a lovely atmosphere and is very reasonably priced. We will definitely be back. Comes very highly recommended.

Visited Miranda's for the first time yesterday whilst waiting for my car to be MOT'd. Very comfortable and relaxed. Up to date magazines to read and staff efficient but relaxed.s Great to see that all food, cakes, etc home made and some lovely smells of a homemade curry whilst I was there. I only had a coffee and a (home made) tea cake - really good value. Sadly, not dog friendly but there are a couple of tables in the entrance lobby where dogs are allowed. I refuse to use 'chain' coffee shops or cafes and Miranda's is another lovely independent cafe in Trowbridge. Will definitely be visiting again.

Our coffee club had a fabulous coffee and cake celebration.....we were made welcome and served with smiles as well as fantastic drinks and cakes with even candles....thank you Miranda!

So, I got there and was promptly greeted by a warm-welcome from Miranda, the host.Let's start with the food - 10 out of 10! I loved the cakes and the hot-chocolate was phenomenal! And they have options for vegetarians, vegans and gluten-free. If you're on a diet don't hesitate to have a mouth-watering quiche or sandwiches. They also offer an astonishing breakfast. They also have a brilliant service. Concludingly, I would recommend immensely!.

Popped in for Friday lunch. Lovely location and wonderful food which was very reasonably priced. Service was excellent and it was very busy too. Will definitely come back to sample those cakes!

Miranda only serves food she has made herself and it's all lovely. Coffee's great and I saw her make a hot chocolate for a costumer today and it looked and smelled divine! Gentle ambience in a lovely old building and Miranda herself. Ideal!

Miranda is brilliant. The food is lovingly made and tastes phenomenal and the coffee is the perfect start to the morning. I’ve missed countless trains as I’ve not wanted to leave and it’s been totally worth it.

We have visited Miranda's Coffe shop a few times now that we have discovered it. The coffee is excellent for those who value quality. The breakfast menu is small but splendid. The lunch menu is also very good. The cakes, all home made, are delicious. A real treat for Trowbridge which lacks small franchise free Coffee Shops. Visit - you won't be disappointed with the warm reception in.a unique building right by the station.

My boyfriend decided to get me birthday cupcakes this year as a surprise birthday treat, and Miranda produced a dozen beautifully decorated Red Velvet cupcakes. They were absolutely gorgeous to look at, dairy free and tasted simply amazing. They were so good we decided to order more cupcakes for his birthday a month later! This time we bought half Red Velvet and half Carrot Cake - again, all dairy free, and totally delicious...and no one even knew they were all dairy free! I would thoroughly recommend anyone looking for a birthday cake to consider Miranda's - great service, incredible cakes and she is able to cater for any dietary requirements.

Perfect made style food. Top quality, friendly. Repeat visits will happen for me! Trowbridge deserves this place

Today I treated my sister-in-law (and myself) to afternoon tea at Miranda’s (for her birthday treat)

Visited Miranda's for afternoon tea & it was fabulous. Everything homemade & delicious, from the scones & mini rolls to the yummy cakes. I'm not a huge fan of cream, so I tried the coconut cream on my scones & I have to say it was a revelation! Just a shame that I live so far away or I'd be there every week.

Amazing range and quality of dairy free cakes served up in a homely cafe with the lovely Miranda as your host! Personal favourites include brownie, carrot cake, lemon drizzle cake, the Eton mess and her gorgeous scones. She also does a great breakfast menu and a fantastic afternoon tea as well as a variety of very tasty lunch options. Totally worth a visit - you will not be disappointed!

We had asked Miranda to produce Canapes for a private view at the Silk Mill, Frome and within minutes of arrival she had the kitchen organised and smelling delicious.

My husband and I have just had a wonderful, fully vegan afternoon tea at Miranda's. Everything homemade and freshly baked. It consisted of three mini rolls each (vegan ham and tomato, vegan mozzarella cheese and chutney, avocado). Two scones each (two plain and two fruit) with jam and coconut cream. A mini tea cake each. Chocolate brownie each and a delicious jar of Eaton mess. Served with china tea cups. Well worth £17.50. Would definitely recommend this, not just for vegans but anyone else wanting an afternoon tea with that special someone. Miranda caters for everyone's needs and is always there with a smile and friendly chat.

Called in with some friends, the food was lovely. Great service, can’t wait to go back. Considering the size of the kitchen area, the lady did an amazing job of cooking and preparing drinks.

Visited Miranda's Coffee Shop this afternoon for a spot of lunch. Nice contemporary decor and a warm welcoming vibe. After studying the menu, we decided on ham, eggs and potato wedges and quiche of the day with salad. Both priced at a very reasonable £5.50 each. Good quality ingredients and, where possible, all homemade by Miranda. Great service and an informal atmosphere allows you to relax and enjoy the experience. Definitely recommend to anyone who fancies a great breakfast, brunch or lunch that isn't the cloned and characterless chains that you can find in any town. Will definitely be back for coffee and a cake, homemade of course.

Stopped off for lunch whilst on a business trip to Trowbridge. Had an excellent courgette & smoked salmon salad - very healthy! They also had some amazing home made cakes & tray bakes; as well

A lovely surprise, found by chance on a visit to see family in Trowbridge. The lemon drizzle cake was superb. a definite return needed, as the bakewell tart needs to be tried, as it had ran out !

Have visited Miranda's a few times now and always find it a lovely, cosy place. Miranda herself is very friendly and welcoming. I have so far enjoyed a delicious lunch and luxurious hot chocolate. Would also recommend it for breakfast - the pancakes with maple syrup and bacon were amazing! Excellent location for the railway station and nearby business park especially; I will be visiting regularly.

Ive been treated for a coffee and cake here a couple of times recently by my husband and have found Miranda's cafe a warm, friendly and welcoming place. The cakes are all freshley made and are delicious. On offer also are a selection of lunch items which look inviting. I would most certainly recommend this lovely cafe to anyone.
