My hubby and l visited Malmesbury for the first time yesterday and looked into the cake tin shop. We realised that they sold cupcakes which by the way looked really nice so decided to buy a box of four to take home as it was our anniversary. They were delicious in fact the best l have ever tasted!!!! We will definitely be visiting this lovely shop again. Thank you to the team x

After having to spend another birthday in lockdown - my cake from Victoria at The Cake Tin was amazing. Tasty, light and full of delicious flavours. Made the fact that it was a BIG oh no! birthday sweeter to swallow Thoroughly recommend The Cake Tin if you want a fabulous cake for a special celebration

We picked up an afternoon tea from The Cake Tin for our wedding anniversary in December and wow we did not regret it! Beautiful tasting cakes and scones. The owner Victoria was more than accommodating, going past her listed opening hours so that i could collect after I had finished work. The presentation looked fantastic and the taste (and quality) lived up to her reputation! Can’t wait to come back for more baked goods.

This place is just amazing! We've used it a lot for cupcakes which are always delightful but I recently ordered a birthday cake and it was the best cake I've ever eaten. Plus it was such good value as it was a massive cake that a whole army could feast on! The icing on the cake (ahem!) is that Victoria who runs it is such a warm and friendly face. Would recommend highly to all!

With a small, personalised feel the beautiful, hand crafted dishes of perfect portions and exceptional quality are presented in good time and the very well thought out menu has something for everyone, as does the wine list. I couldn’t fault a thing. The final surprise was the good value as at the end of such a pleasurable, perfect experience I would expect it to cost more than it did.

Unit B Hilliers YardPopped in just for a drink to fill time before getting on coach. We then decided to look at menu, it was a hard decision to make, but had bacon and egg on brown bread and a bowl of chips. we have never seen a egg yolk so yellow, cooked to perfection and the bacon was delicious. Quite a large quantity for a bowl of chips to. Lovely and clean and the ladies were so pleasant. Very reasonable prices as well. Would highly recommend

MildenhallI'd say this is probably vying with Dan's for the best place to eat in Marlborough. We had our Valentine's dinner here and whole experience was just superb. It's a very characterful pub with lots of dining rooms feeding off the main entrance, so a great mix of busy/bustling, cosy and yet still intimate. They've just got a new chef but considering it was his first night running the kitchen you'd never know, all our food was perfectly cooked and very well presented. Great to see them employing some younger people for serving, some of them clearly still learning but all with a great "customer-centric" attitude. Finally the bill was half the price of somewhere like Rick Stein's. Couldn't really fault it at all.
