The best restaurants serving Default food in Poundstock Cornwall, Isles of Scilly South West

Just had some afternoon lunch here and was served by the super Matilda 👌 was impressed with the selection of food and had a special from the menu 😋 will be going back whilst on holiday here in Cornwall, another super find 😀 can't comment on rooms but location was perfect as the side of a busy road but not affected by the road nose/traffic

We had 2 americano cofees with warm milk that were superb. We were waiting for the bus and it stops right out front. The staff were very kind to us and we could see that they offered an assortment of foods for breakfast and lunch. Also ice cream.

This place is clearly a local favourite, so a bit of patience when ordering is needed. We visited on a rainy afternoon and were pleasantly surprised by the variety on offer—not just your typical café options. With the recent launch of a new menu, there’s something for everyone, and the selection is genuinely impressive. The buttermilk chicken burger is a definite highlight—crispy, full of flavour, and very generously portioned. What really stood out, though, was the pricing. Considering its prime location as the only eatery on Black Rock beach, the overall cost was refreshingly reasonable. A lovely extra: they accept the Blue Light Card, even on Kelly’s ice creams. Just remember to mention it when ordering.

We came for the excellent set lunch at £12.50 pp (Lots of other customers as well!) Very good choice of Menu and good quality. Excellent service and nice atmosphere.

Lovely atmosphere, great tunes and great vibes and the veggie food is absolutely delicious. We had the bang bang cauliflower which was completely banging! And the veggie shawarma which was equally delicious. One of my top 3 restaurant meals out EVER.

Replaced our Christmas work meal which was cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances and had a wonderful Sunday lunch with work colleagues, friendly atmosphere, nothing too much trouble and a great lunch running into the afternoon. Highly recommend

Went for the carvery on Sunday and it was the best I have had anywhere for years! Went back for dinner Thursday night & all food & service was amazing. We we come back to Cornwall later in the year, we will be back.

Tasty food, sensibly priced and generous portions. Lovely place to eat and great service. We had three meals there over the week we had in Crackington Haven. Enjoyed everyone.

We went for a birthday lunch in Jan. The food was great, and lovely coffee. Really friendly and attentive staff. Would highly recommend!!

We often have coffee and a pasty here on market days meet friends and neighbours. Good range of food available

Had a sandwich and was fobbed off with grated cheese 😫 lovely lady who made it but just feel cheated. Slice the cheese in future

We used the nearby car park but putting coins in the machine (some were being rejected) while suffering pelting rain was most unpleasant and it was equally irritating that the machine did not give change. We would have been happy to return to the cafe during our stay in the area but the opportunity never arose. The beach itself was rocky and uninspiring (perhaps the weather put us off too).
