We enjoyed our lunch in the cafe - we'd gone to the market for a machinery sale day in October - it was really good honest food served promptly at a service hatch. There are few frills here but the food is absolutely fantastic value. The restaurant was a bit messy - tables needed clearing, wiping down etc BUT in the defence of those working there it had clearly been an absolutely manic morning so it was understandable that they'd not had time to get around to this. If you're in the market and fancy a cheap and easy good eat then this is the place for you.

During our 5 week contract in Holsworthy we have been for a breakfast here every Friday. The rest of the boys have a fry up and I go for an omelette. I have to admit, it is up there with the best of them. Plenty of food but not too much, very tasty and with a really good side-salad! It leaves me full until tea time too 😀 Always prompt, friendly service and the venue is spick n span, I highly recommend. Just a note, we have only been during the week, I drove past on a Saturday and the whole livestock market car park and road outside ( in which 'The Cow Shed ' is situated) was jam-packed !

Had a lovely meal,Rump Steak& Croft Burger, then sweets to finish. Great food and service. Shame the weather wasn't a little better as we would have sat outside after our meal.

Just cooked a cheese and onion pasty that I bought on our last visit in Newquay. The disappointment is massive as there was no detectable cheese in the pasty. Sadly have another one in the freezer. An awful lot of money paid for potato and onion. Definitely won't be back.
