I am local to the area and this is where you go if you want a delicious hot dog or the perfect and chunky chips, the food is perfect. Excellent quality and cheapest fresh food around hayle. Best atmosphere and chatty lady, there is also the option to sit and enjoy the scenic views of hayle harbour.

You know that smell when you walk into ASDA at a certain time of day when they’re baking the pancakes?! Well..following the scent up the stairs of the Old Foundry Chapel and walking into Cookie Mob is like that..on steroids. Freshly baked hunks of cookies in an abundance of flavours. Friendly staff that are boshing out indulgent treats daily. The bubble tea is good, great for hydrating your hangover in style if you don’t like regular tap water..ask for extra ice! On that note, it’s open when you realise all the other shops are shut on a Sunday. Treat yo self.

We had the best chips and a delicious burger from this little gem of a place. We also had a breakfast bap later in the week, but the egg was snotty and the bap was damp liked it had been steamed in the microwave and it was soaked in brown sauce. Not the best. But we will be back for some more chips. Lovely staff too.

Absolutely lovely little spot with great food and coffee! We’re not from the area and needed a good brunch following a wedding the night before and this delivered! As soon as we arrived our daughter was given a chalk board to keep her entertained which I thought was fab. The lady who served us was so polite, friendly and attentive. The coffee was delicious and the food was really good. We recommend adding the hogs pudding to a breakfast 100% it was so tasty. There were a great selection of cakes but we didn’t try any as we intend on returning tomorrow and the bathrooms were kept nice and even provide sanitary products. Finally we didn’t have ours with us but the cafe is dog friendly which was a lovely little touch to the atmosphere. Thank you for a wonderful experience Duckies!

Been visiting Hayle for years but only just found this place. Had the extra large haddock with standard chips, curry sauce and peas. Partner had small cod and standard chips. The portions were very generous, fish was cooked to perfection with lovely crisp batter. The curry sauce was very nice with a slight kick to it.

Excellent choices of flavors, good value for money and exceptional service. After taking the dog to the vet for a check up a few doors down we decided to have a treat. The member of staff was very accommodating and made such a lovely fuss over the dog. Helped us choose some good choices, let us sample one and even had ones for the pup too. The puppy equivalent of sweets after the dentist. A lovely local treat.

We attended an event here with thai food and drinks. Wow what a location and atmosphere. The owners presence was a little off putting, almost with an air of keeping an eye on everyone and saying some strange remarks every so often, there was no one younger than mid 30s and we had all purachsed tickets so this definitely wasn't needed! We decided to ignore this in the end and overall the experience and music particularly outside on the terrace was amazing

We usually order from here once in a blue moon as a treat. The food is always amazing. We had an issue with some items in our recent order so reached out to Philps and they rectified this by re-sending the entire order which was a very pleasant surprise. Top Tier Food, Top Tier Service.

Been going here for 8 years, first day of our holiday went for lunch at 12pm. Ordered 2 pasties, both were barely lukewarm and had very greasy pastry and tasted average at best , actually didnt finish them and threw half of it away. Also thought £1.80 for a can of coke is a little steep.Staff were lovely but definately not half as good as it used to be...come on Philps up your game
