Great cafe , excellent quality 👍

Stopped here for breakfast, had a wait which was fine, however the portions were small, and on this occasion the food (some) was over cooked

WOW !!! I had the smoked salmon and poached eggs today with some extrras.......WOW !! best thing i have eaten in a lomg time.food like this keeps me coming back again and again. Thank you

This is a dog friendly cafe, but a bit too friendly staff don't seem to object to dogs sitting on the seating and taking food from table, it also appears grubby , not a pleasant experience for a none dog owner, on a plus side very good carrot cake.

Great food. Good value and variety. Polite and friendly staff. Would definitely eat there again :). Good pot of tea too!

Absolutely perfect breakfast and service from the team. Found this place by accident and the food was great.

This was our second visit, the first one was a few years ago though. We visited with our young kids that have some sensory issues with food and the staff were so amazing. Going out to eat can be quite daunting and this cafe made it an absolute pleasure, they were happy to adapt the menu in any way to suit our kids needs. The waitresses were lovely and so friendly and great with the kids. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend.

The iced coffee was the best I’ve ever had and the service was good. However, the food left much to be desired. We ordered two vegan full English breakfasts, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. The vegan sausages were quite dry, and the whole mushrooms were underdone, leaving them watery and lacking flavour and instead of the usual hashbrowns or potatoes, the plate came with a rather random salad of raw spinach and red peppers - apart from that the rest was nice

Wonderful cafe we visited last Sunday. The service and friendly staff absolutely made it. Great coffee and food to match.

This place has got to be the best when it comes to value for money, and the food was brilliant, the service was on another level, will definitely be back for another brilliant breakfast, and the smoothies were to die for.thanks guys wish you well.

A real nugget of a place to have a hearty breakfast and coffee/tea. Always busy which to me is always a good sign even if it means waiting for a table! Very friendly staff.

We love getting lunch here when we come to Hayle. We are local from just up the coast, so it makes a nice day out for us. The food is always very tasty and good value. Always lovely and clean too ♥️

Popped in as needed a place to rest and have a drink. Milkshakes were delicious and the cakes were too. Brilliant service and they made us and our little dog feel very welcomed. Would recommend to others.

Duckies is the best!! All of the staff there are so welcoming and sociable, and just a great laugh! The place is always clean and smells yummy, the food is amazing and the English breakfast is by far my favourite! I highly recommend to anyone visiting Hayle or wanting some high-quality nibbles! <3

Shades of a working man’s cafe this is not a negative the service is warm and welcoming and the breakfast options are extremely well presented no excess grease just a good quality breakfast

We ate brunch here and it was delicious. Enjoyed being able to see the food being prepared in the Kitchen. Looking forward to going back and trying a full breakfast as my bacon and egg bap was yum and my husbands mushrooms and Stilton looked amazing!

Incredible. Firstly, the food is great. Some of the nicest bacon and sausages I've had. Secondly, the staff are so friendly and accommodating to kids. Soon as we went in with our 3 year old the colouring books were out and they said they could make anything he wanted (As they don't have a specific kids menu). He demolished his cheese on toast and actually even stole some of our sausage and loved it which he has never done before! Will 100% be back next time we are in the area.

Lovely little cafe. I adore the 3 paintings at the back of the cafe. Quite pricey but probably in line with everything else around a touristy town. Service was great, very polite and quick.

Perfect busy little cafe! Food was delicious and staff were super nice! And the price for the meal was just right! I would recommend coming here and advise that you wait at the door to be seated so they can seat you in the right area for your group and be more efficient to allow more customers to be served and enjoy a hearty meal here 👍

Was served by Meg, she was brilliant 🤩 she made a fuss of our dogs. Very dog friendly place, ours always hide under the table. The drinks were great, proper hot chocolate. The Cornish Cooked Breakfasts was delicious, filling and plenty of it! The atmosphere was calm, refreshing and relaxing. We will definitely be visiting again.

Lovely service, within a nicely laid out cafe with local murals of Hayle on the wall. Vegan breakfast with avocado and spinach was a lovely new surprise! The Full Cornish breakfast also went down well with our party... Recommended!

Lovely cafe, in town and close to paradise park, we popped in for a late lunch. Fresh quality breakfasts with good ingredients. Friendly, attentive staff. 10/10

Absolutely loved my breakfast at duckies! I first visited in 2020, and have been wanting to go back for a while. Today I did as I was in the area and I was not disappointed! I had the royale florentine and it was just delicious. My other half is a fussy eater and any requests weren’t an issue at all. Very friendly staff and will definitely be back if I am ever near Hayle again

Today we visited this place with our 19-month-old son. straight away from the entrance there is a very friendly atmosphere. Our son got coloring book and we could drink coffee in peace. The breakfast was delicious, served quickly and very filling. The biggest advantage, apart from the food, is the very nice team taking care of customers. I recommend this place and we will definitely go back there when will be at Cornwall next time!

Great cafe with lovely food and friendly staff

One of the nicest places I have ever been! The staff here are absolutely lovely and made us feel so welcome - we had only been in Hayle around 10 minutes. The service was fast and the food was such good value for money and delicious. Such a friendly group of people with a lovely environment. Would recommend to anyone!

Well !!!! Driven past here many times but never a spare table , went early today and ordered eggs benedict and a chamomile tea , now I know why there's rarely a spare table free , service was excellent friendly and welcoming staff , food was cooked to order from fresh and was absolutely delicious 😋 cannot find a single fault , there's a large selection of options for breakfast and lunch, teas including herbal , and a good selection of coffees , lovely calming atmosphere thoroughly enjoyed my breakfast, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 😀

I have been thinking for a bit after reading all the good comments.i m not a negative person but the breakfast, full cornish, must be a touristic sell point and sadly it wasnt for us. Dry bacon, funny mushrooms and egg were dissappointing.i dont know why they ask us how we wanted our eggs. They were dry and not rite. As we ate i did look at reviews and had to withhold myself from complaining. Also expensive too.but here it is.not for me ,sorry .

Lush little cafe, very friendly staff and a warm atmosphere. Only thing let it down baby chino came in an adult mug which created spillage and it was cold… the staff were so busy we didn’t want to bother them to correct it.

Absolutely fabulous Cornish breakfast freshly cooked with the choice of fried or poached eggs. And the biggest pot of breakfast tea for two. I reckon it had the equivalent of 6 cups (possibly more as we didn't drink it all) Excellent value. Staff friendly and fun.

Duckies is an absolute gem! Had a full vegan breakfast here and it was delicious! The staff are so lovely, they seem to know all the colourful locals by name. It felt as if we’d been coming there for ages, absorbed by village and family life.

What a breakfast! Popped in on way back to Wales from St Ives, googled somewhere for breakfast in Hayle and this was top and rightly so! Perfect breakfast. Good staff. Lovely gentleman in there that lived locally let us perch on his table and had a good chat. Thanks.

Amazing Vegan breakfast. My friend had the full cornish, which he said was also amazing. Our server was absolutely lovely, I would highly recommend. We were both to full to even contemplate the lush looking cakes. I will go again x

Based on tripadvisor reviews we popped to Duckies for our breakfast. Husband had cornish breakfast, I had a special comprising of crusty bread, spinach, smoked salmon, poached eggs and hollandaise sauce. Delicious. Service was very good, staff were pleasant, helpful and courteous. Would recommend.
