The best restaurants serving Default food in Westbourne and West Cliff Bournemouth South West

Great little place, excellent Dim Sum, though limited options. Staff were very good. It's not the type of place you go to for a lovely relaxing lunch, it's ideal if you're in town and fancy a good dim sum, well cooked and tasty and not expensive at all

Felt rushed and forgotten about. Came here with my partner on a Saturday for an evening meal. Arrived around 5:50ish and asked for a table of 2 (didn't book but did look online and there was no way to book online nor did it say we had to phone up to book) Were given a table for 2 but were told they would need the table back at 7. Absolutely fine. Went to order food and saw on the menu that they only accept cash (again doesn't clearly state on the website that this is the case) but were informed by the waitress that there was a cash point next door. Ordered 2 pizzas and 2 drinks. Food came out very promptly but our drinks were forgotten about (only 2 cans of soft drink as they don't sell alcohol) so had to ask for them again. Pizzas were tasty but not warm all the way through (they seemed as though they had been rushed as to get us out the restaurant). Would of told a waitress but we weren't asked how our food was. The main downside of the evening was a very loud and obnoxious table behind us of over 10 people who were all talking and screeching during the meal who not only disturbed us but also the table next to us who also were commenting on how loud they are. I couldn't even hear my partner who was leaning over the table talking to me. I know this isn't they restaurants fault at all but the space inside is very tiny for such a large table. Overall it was an okay visit with decent food but unsure if we would visit again as the whole visit felt rushed. We were out the door by 6:30. Which is a real shame as had read so many amazing reviews of this place. Perhaps it was just a bad day for them idk.

Highly recommended. After enjoying post-dinner drinks on Friday, we booked to eat on Saturday night. Really enjoyable and well priced (although I think we only needed one fondue between the two of us!). Definitely going again.

Has reopened after COVID and now there is Susi who is running it with her German delicacies, i.e. Prezel Buns with fillings which are lovely and gorgeous cakes, one of them being Poppyseed and Blueberries with a Chocolate icing which was so yummy with my delicious Flat White Coffee and all very reasonably priced. It is opposite Iceland in Westbourne open Monday to Friday. There is a little eating area at the back which is delightful in the warmer months.

Fui por mi cumpleaños con mi familia, cinco de nosotros la comida era increíble y cerveza turca agradable. Servicio bueno que estaba por su cuenta y se las arregló muy bien. Me encantará defo ir de nuevo

My partner and I came for dinner and we had a fantastic experience. The service was quick and very friendly and the food was so delicious. We also had two of the cocktails which were so cute and well presented and very tasty.

We come here often before going to the beach and it’s excellent every time. Lovely vegan options. Coffee is perfect. Outside has a chalk board to keep kids entertained. Perfect stop for breakfast first thing in the morning.

Lovely venue and staff let down by the food. Beautiful old building with old features made the most of. Great drinks selection when you get the drink you asked for. Was with a small group for a meal in a private room which had been asked to preorder. Mixed reaction to the meals. Not all were as described on the menu that we had been provided with and definitely not much more than frozen goods heated in a microwave. Far better food served elsewhere.

Try updating your website, this restaurant has closed down!! We took a taxi from sandbanks for a boozy Friday lunch, your company website says the restaurant is still open………it isn’t, it does not even exist! Never dining at any of your facilities again! Obviously you don’t care about us, the customer. Waste of time, waste of money!

Went along for lunch recently. The portions are ginormous and tasty and good value . In fact cannot finish so able to take the balance as takeaways. had the Prego Steak Roll which was yummy. Next time will share our main course :-)
