Highly recommended. After enjoying post-dinner drinks on Friday, we booked to eat on Saturday night. Really enjoyable and well priced (although I think we only needed one fondue between the two of us!). Definitely going again.

Popped into Ginjams with my husband a week or so ago and enjoyed a couple of gins. When planning an evening with a friend I suggested Ginjams as I'd seen the food and thought it looked lovely. We had the Dorset red cheddar and mustard fondue and the French sharing platter. I've never had a fondue before but will be doing so again, it was delicious! The staff were very friendly and helpful, we had a great night, thank you!

Trendy, nice lighting. Friendly staff but a few issues with service. Drinks not the cheapest but cool bar.

A great little spot. Honestly I wish id visited sooner. Great little menu with real high quality food, fabulous gin tasting. A great idea for any gin lovers birthday, a mothers day or even just a feel like it.

At first I wasn’t sure about the menu until our food came out! Lovely presentation and very tasty. The main platter (French one) was quite big and varied. Loaded with a selection of cheeses, cold meats, crackers, grapes and olives. Plenty of food for 2. We will visit again for sure. The staff were very welcoming too.

Great experience, food and service. Both Chris and Tom were fantastic hosts for the evening and will be booking this again soon. We had a gin tasting session, cheese fondue with various items to dip with and then finished with chocolate fondue. we all left feeling very happy, full and a little tipsy, which is all part of the fun. I would recommend to all to try and book a gin tasting session which they advertise on the website and make sure you do indulge on the cheese fondue!

None of us are huge gin drinkers before, the gins were all great, and we all came out of it with not just a new favourite but a whole bunch of excellent drinks to try and Tom was great at giving advise but still letting us experiment and have fun! It was fantastic, it was fun, engaging and entertaining while giving us so much value. Afterwards we stayed for food and drinks and everything was spot on, the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, the staff are friendly and honest in their opinions which makes it an awesome place to come and find a new favourite.

Some of the best cocktails I’ve ever had. Staff were so friendly and accommodating. The flavours of the cocktails are spectacular! The Thursday 2 for 1 deal is great value and I will definitely return & recommend to all!!

Nice cocktails but overall a poor experience. Drinks took 30 minutes to arrive and after a 45 minute wait for some bread and olives we gave up and went somewhere else. It was a shame as the menu looked good.

Tapas food was tasty but not outstanding. I would suggest they add houmous and olives to the menu. Dessert was delayed as kitchen was busy and smell of burnt food wafted from the kitchen. Drinks and staff were friendly.

My son had his wedding reception at Ginjams, the snacks were really good, great atmosphere and they treated us like kings and queens. Well done guys

Visiting from Brighton we had a brilliant date night at Ginjams. Fab selection of board games, amazing cocktails, fantastic cheese & chocolate fondue and even better customer service! Very reasonably priced too - we all need to keep visiting places like this in the coming months!

We had the most wonderful time here!! Went to celebrate our anniversary..food was delicious and came in generous amounts, cocktails and find were unREAL and the owner/staff were so so lovely. Highly recommend!!!

Honestly, the kindest and most welcoming bar I have been into in sooo long. To top it off, the gin tasting nights they hold, are so amazing, I am gonna definitely travel back here just for that. If you live local or even a little bit away, I absolutely recommend coming here. The photo is the aftermath of the night! So good!!

Fantastic evening for friends 40th! Having booked a table for this evening we were greeted by Chris, and shown to our booth towards the rear. Chris made some fantastic Gins and Cocktails for us all. The gin and cocktail menu was extensive and everyone enjoyed them. We were served by Tom, who diligently took our orders correctly (despite the way we ordered them). The food was good, tapas style, and enjoyed by us all. Both Chris and Tom made us comfortable and ensured we had a great evening, excellent customer service, and all round great place. Would highly recommend for a wonderful evening out.

Tuve otra velada encantadora en Ginjams, la primera desde mi cumpleaños en febrero, pero aún así no decepciona. El personal y el ambiente son maravillosos. Estaba tan emocionado de obtener mi dosis de la increíble fondue de queso, sin embargo, debido a las recientes reglas de Covid, esto no estaba disponible en ese momento, PERO, Jess y el chef pudieron acomodarnos y yo estaba muy agradecido con ellos. Estaba delicioso y espero que vuelva pronto al menú permanente. Definitivamente regresaremos, gracias :)

Vivo en Poole y trabajo unos días a la semana en Cheltenham, y si quieres el mejor Gin Bar, he estado en alguna vez, ve a 131, más de 420 ginebras, ambiente, ambiente y servicio, todo lo que me temo no tengo en Ginjams en Westbourne.

Right, simply it's amazing. I went for a gin tasting night and wow, was not expecting this. This place is fantastic. Great atmosphere and great people. And do 8 need to mention drinks? Nah, no need as you have the choice from here to there and back. Love it. It is a great place for a quick drink or a night out. Just go and check it out. You will not regret it!

La comida era increíble, el servicio fue estupendo y lo recomendaría a cualquiera que le guste la fondue. Los cócteles eran INCREÍBLES, el ganso suelto sería un favorito personal, pero cada uno sintió que fueron hechos con cuidado y originalidad.Un entorno muy acogedor, no lleno de gente en lo más mínimo.

Reasonable prices, amazing selection of gin

My wife and I were in Bournemouth for the weekend and always fancied tasting lots of different Gins (responsibly). After a Google we found Ginjams and made the short walk from the beach front. Very welcoming and cosy atmosphere, we felt at home immediately. They recommended a number of Gins which we promptly lined up and slowly enjoyed. If you looking for a friendly environment to broaden your Gin experience, Ginjams is perfect. Great service too!

The chocolate fondue was delicious and people seem really nice. Great atmosphere and really good food.

Excellent event. Great value and service. The different gins tried were all enjoyable and it’s great to learn what garnish and tonic is best. The food platters were amazing and all in all a great evening. Highly recommend.

Despite my initial disappointment when I walked in here and realised it wasn’t a pyjama themed bar as the name suggests I was pleasantly surprised at the selection of gins and wines and the selection of cheeses and tapas they offer. They staff all seemed very nice and friendly, not one of them laughed at me in my PJs and seemed all very understanding as it was probably a common mistake that this was not, in fact a Jim jams themed restaurant rather just a catchy bit of word play. Apart from this slight hiccup I had a very very pleased night indeed and I would recommend this to anyone who likes they’re wine’n’cheese or G’n’Ts

Although my sister and I were the only customers on a wet and windy night, the atmosphere was still welcoming. The barman was very friendly and informative, the two different gins he suggested were delicious as was the fresh tasting bruschetta. Will definitely make a return visit, probably at the next gin tasting evening.

We went early afternoon with our 18 week old puppy and were made to feel very welcome. Ethan the bar man spent time going through the vast array of gins and was very knowledgeable on the different choices. We sat down and had starters ... very generous portions and then followed it by a Spanish platter which said 2/3 but was plenty for us 3 ! It was delicious... my only slight gripe was the tortilla wasn’t made on the premises and tasted processed! But the ambiance service and quality of everything else was perfect !!

Six of us went for a Gin tasting evening. We had eight different Gins to taste with various tonic’s. Our host was Chris who was very knowledgable and was great fun during the evening. After the first four Gins we had a break and various nibbles were provided :- cheese, cold meats etc.Great fun in a crowd and only £20.00 per head. Well worth a visit and then to go back and have a full measure of your favourite.

Yeah ok, it’s a great concept, melted cheese in a pot with gin, fab! However, I went with a group of friends, when you order the cheese fondue it is supposed to be shared between 2 people. Unfortunately they forgot to bring out a cheese fondue so we asked where it was and they looked confused and kept going back and forth to the kitchen until the lady (unknown name - brown hair) said “oh, this pot is for 3 people” really..? Are you sure..? Why don’t you just say you forgot to make another one instead of lying by saying this particular pot is supposed to be shared between 3? Oh really? Is that why you only gave us only two screwed and two plates? Then, we found out from another server that it takes 30/40 mins toMake a cheese fondue (surly it can’t take that long to make melted cheese..) so we realised that was the reason why they didn’t just bring another fondue out and and tried to say it should be split between 3.Now to the gin. There is an entire gin list which looked great, unfortunately hardly any gins were available... really odd for a GIN bar! Also, all the gins tasted the same, regardless of what gin you ordered.Sadly our waitress was quite rude and cold and didn’t seem like she wanted to be there to the point where the other male waiter behind her back said to us “don’t worry she is moody today” .. not good!A positive is that the cheese was really nice.

The bar tender was really helpful. He made sure we were constantly happy. Ethan seemed really up beat and happy to be at work. Will definitely be coming again soon. Really good selections of gym at very reasonable price.

I keep being drawn back to this place and it’s not just for the gin. The gin selection is, as the name suggests pretty good but the atmosphere is great too. The snack platters are yummy and the fondue is awesome. A seat in the window will ensure some entertainment for the afternoon as you watch the world go by. The staff are great and certainly advise you well

We had a great evening tasting and learning about a range of gins. This was the second time I had visited, and it was interesting that all eight gins were different to the ones I had tasted the previous time. The staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable; the bread, cheese and meats served in the middle were tasty and well presented and everyone, gin lovers or not, had a most enjoyable time. I will be back.

My friend and I booked a table as a result of a ‘free chocolate fondue’ offer on Facebook. We went in on a Weds evening and there were two young guys working. Both were super friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable about the gins on offer. Previously, I had heard it was a little pricey in GinJams but I felt it was great value, lovely atmosphere and overall a really fun and enjoyable evening. I’ll be back!

Great evening spent tasting 8 different gins in a very pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. Host very entertaining, would definitely recommend a visit.

Whilst i am not a connoisseur of gins by any stretch of the imagination, I had an absolutely great time at the Gin tasting evening with my mum. With 8 varied gins to try it was certainly an experience.

Did the gin tasting experience. Knowledgeable, entertaining. Taste 8 gins, choose your favorite. Would recommend to any gin lovers out there.

Absolutely amazing evening, staff were wonderful especially Victoria who is so knowledgeable about the gins. The gins are pretty good to as was the food. Will certainly return when in Bournemouth next and would certainly recommend this bar.

This Gin Bar is fantastic. We first visited in August 2018 and will be returning this August for our annual golf trip. The staff are fantastic and the bar has such a relaxed atmosphere.

I'm not a lover of gin but have visited twice. Once as a hen party, we booked a gin tasting experience which was great fun. Sadly they didn't manage to make a convert out of me (I'm a vodka girl) but the staff were friendly and hugely knowledgeable. I visited again with friends for cocktails and food. The menu isn't extensive but we sampled some real treats, the cheese fondue is a must! Highly recommended to any gin lovers, but still a great place to visit if your not

Tasty food and great drinks the place is in need of a re furb though the toilets are disgusting and I slipped right off the toilet as the seat was broken.

We had been really looking forward to going to GIn Jams. We arrived early to be greated with not even with a hello but “Have you booked a table?” We had, but it had been given to somebody else. This was promptly fixed so we were handed a menu and waited to be served. We actually waited half an hour before I had to go to the bar and ask to order drinks. We ordered and yes, there is a good selection of gin on the menu and when they arrived they were lovely. We wanted to order the cheese fondue and ordered this with our starters. This is where it went downhill! Our starters arrived but then we we were asked a total of 3 additional times if we wanted the cheese fondue. We waited and waited and nothing! I actually saw one of the members of staff come back with what looked like a deli bag...I’m assuming with the cheese in!! They had run out!!! The service was so slow...not once were we asked if we wanted more drinks, we had to ask every single time. One and a half hours later and the fondue still hadn’t arrived. The sides did...ripped up pieced of bread in a bowl, chopped tomatoes, apples (that had turned brown) and some cornichons. Half an hour later still no fondue!! I made a complaint and told the staff that I would not be paying for the meal. I was told that the manager was not in and that they were understaffed. As I was complaining the long lost cheese finally arrived!! It was like warm and still lumpy. Overall the service was dreadful, the only staff member who was remotely friendly was a blonde lady who took the cheese off the bill...actually in hindsight I wished I’d said that I wouldn’t be paying for the starters either. Overall I would never go back. So disappointed and actually very shocked over the bad service. I’ve never experienced anything like it. Personally, I wouldn’t even recommend it for drinks let alone dinner. Such a shame.

I went here with a group of friends on one of Ginjams gin tasting evenings. We bought the tickets beforehand which included 5 different gins, wines or whiskeys. The gins were beautifully prepared and the staff were very knowledgeable. Looking forward to going back again.

Came here with some friends for a girlie night out. Booked a table in advance. Staff welcoming, helpful and attentive. Restaurant quite busy with buzzy atmosphere. We all ordered a different gin, (they do serve good wines too) and a sharing platter of food. The food was perfect for 4 with extra bread. Lovely charcuterie, great cheeses and parma ham. Definitely go back again. The Gins were really nice with lovely touches, like cucumber instead of lemon ets. Huge glasses too and flavoured tonics. The only downside was the ladies loo. I’m glad I had eaten before as they were not clean at all, shame!

Drinks are absolutely on-point with a great selection across and extensive menu. The staff are generally very knowledgeable and will help you navigate the range of gin on offer. They lose a star for the environment which could feel intimate but just ends up being uncomfortable. The small space is just too cramped and narrow to spend too much time there.

I came here yesterday to celebrate my birthday. I had the Gin afternoon tea, which was delicious. The range of Gins on offer is staggering. The staff are friendly, attentive and knowledgeable and are happy to talk you through the selection. Gin jams is the ideal spot for chilled out after work drinks. I could quite easily become a regular:).

Unsurprisingly a very good gin selection and reasonably priced. Had good vegan options alongside other tapas style platters. Food was very good. Quite small so definitely book if visiting on a weekend evening. My only worry is that the service could be slow if busy as each drink requires time to make.

I visited ginjams on a Saturday evening for a friends birthday. The place is lovely really relaxing and we had a table out the back. The staff are super friendly, the food is great and the drinks were great but !! There was an awful smell every time I went near the bar, it smelled of sewage, I’m sure it wasn’t but that’s what it smelled like. The area around the bar was lovely and clean but this really needed sorting. If this was sorted then I would give this place a 10/10. Everything else was spot on !!

Went with 3 friends on a Friday night and had a lovely table in the window. Nice decor, great service and food. Sharing platters are DELICIOUS and the wine flights too. Very reasonable prices. Can't wait to return, wish I lived nearer.
