I work close by and we have been to lunch there several times(before we were all turfed out of our offices due to Covid). Always reliable food and service. Reasonable prices, and nice environment. Was sorry to see news of the fire in the building, hope they recover soon. Once they are open again, give them a go!

Had dinner here, really lovely place - food home cooked and lovely. Had lasagne and kids had burgers absolutely delicious. Staff really welcoming and friendly - would definitely recommend

Booked the restaurant online as there was no answer on their telephone system and left a note to say we would be using the tastecard 2 for 1 offer. An email arrived to say the booking was pending but no further email was received. We made our way to the restaurant for an 8.30 booking, and were in a queue behind a couple who had not made a booking. The gentleman asked us did we have a booking and I showed him the online confirmation that we had booked etc and he proceeded to get a manager. It was clear the restaurant was busy so bookings were obviously essential as when I had booked online every other time slot had been booked out. The manager then came out and told us they could “take us” however they would not honour the tastecard offer. I asked why and she explained she didn’t have to. I immediately realised they were saying this to turn us away and take the couple who has just turned up and would obviously be paying full price. The ladies customer service was disgusting and a complete joke that she behaved in the manner she did. If they aren’t going to honour the tastecard deal that they are very clearly part of, they should remove themselves from this website. As a result we couldn’t get seated in any other restaurant in the town on Friday night and ended up with a takeaway. Disgraceful and would advise people to steer clear. At a time when restaurants are crying out for people to return, treat your customers with respect.

This is a great place to dine at the Landsdown Bournemouth, very polite friendly staff, clean and helpful. The food is brilliant, hot and prompt which is good. Many thanks for a great meal, I will be back.

We were on holiday in Bournemouth for 10 days and we visited Kayla twice as the first time was so good.. The food and service was first class and the prices are very reasonable. The house Jumping Jack wines are also very good for just £17. Good choice of food and it felt very safe with the Corvid distancing.

Thank goodness 'Kayla is back'. We have so missed our meals at this great brasserie restaurant in Bournemouth. The food was just as good as it has always been. This trendy but relaxing restaurant is an absolute gem. Great value, great service, great food. Thank you for still keeping the same high standard.

We ate here for dinner last week and it was amazing!! Our first time in Bournemouth and we were unsure where to eat - we wanted a nice sit down meal and this was perfect. The menu had so many choices it was hard to decide what to order. We both had steak and chips my partner says nicer than Miller and Carter !! Then brownie and ice cream for pudding. The place was lovely and staff were so friendly. Would definitely eat here again

I had lunch at Kayla today. I booked a table via the Kayla website and got a quick response stating that a table was free. Actually at my early lunch time of 1145 I was the sole diner. The restaurant looked spotless, the staff extremely friendly and welcoming. I had pizza, which was delicious and well presented. I would definitely go there again.

We found Kayla's when looking for a nice restaurant within walking distance of our hotel. The service was friendly and efficient and the staff made an appreciated effort to social distance etc without spoiling the experience. High quality ingredients and lots of choice - the cheese pizza bread with balsamic onions was delicious as was the seafood risotto. Wine was excellent and very reasonably priced. Finished the night with a cocktail before the short walk back to our hotel. Perfection

Friendly service, good quantities at reasonable prices. The large square room suits the current environment so distancing is relatively easy. Extensive menu and the seafood pasta was very good. Only suggestion, which is same for most Italian restaurants in this country would be a more enterprising wine list

As always Tracey and Hassan provided nothing but 5* service, beautifully cooked food, personal service and great conversation. We have been coming here for years for family dinners, lunches and a lot of birthdays it really is a cosy yes sophisticated atmosphere. Go check them out

Brilliant service, food, ambiance. Would definitely return. Very reasonable prices on the lunch menu and it was obvious they have a chef that obviously cares about what they put on a plate. All 6 of us agreed we would return.

Went there for Valentine's day and it was really tasty. The food came quickly, the staff was polite and helpful, really nice evening. We had booked a table in advance, showed up on time and didn't have to wait before being seated. The restaurant was also quiet enough to enjoy your food, no kids running around or people shouting, the people at other tables were all talking at a politely low level as well. My partner had prawns and though I am not a fan of prawn, I really liked them. The cheese in my cheeseburger was small in quantity but strong in taste, worth the price really. Delightful evening, will definitely be coming back

Around 15 of us had our Christmas lunch here and it was fantastic! Staff extremely helpful and friendly and food excellent. We will be coming back this year! Thanks to all staff for making our visit very enjoyable 😀

We had a delightful evening there. The hors d'oeuvre, the lamb shank, the spaghetti carbonara... everything was lovely and mouth-wateringly rich. What really sets this restaurant apart, however, is its caring staff, coupled with its nice and laid-back ambiance. It has become my favourite restaurant in Bournemouth.

Came here recently for a Christmas team lunch and ordered a cheese and onion omelette which came with chunky chis and a side of salad with coleslaw, it was so tasty and filling...perfect from lunch.

Kayla hosted our team's Christmas Lunch. The 25 of us had a very good experience. Mass catering for these events is never easy and there's always someone who gets their food late or not so warm. However, this is the best experience I have had. All the meals came together, were very nice and I've not heard a single negative comment from anyone - very unusual for our lot. We all enjoyed the venue, the menu choices and the exceptional service. Drinks arrived promptly after a variety of requirements were shouted out. It was very friendly service throughout. All in all, an excellent experience. I suspect we'll be back next year.

Smart, family run, "Italian" restaurant near the centre of Bournemouth. There is a "pay" car park 100 yards away or 5 minutes walk from a free ASDA car park. Plenty of buses pass by. Extensive menu ( I had an excellent lamb shank) & a well stocked bar including draught lager.

Excellent Venue for 40th Birthday Party. Everyone enjoyed the evening thanks to Tracy and her team. Would recommend for any celebration. Food was excellent and staff were all very friendly.

We held a private party here for 80 people, exelent venue, barstaf very attentive and good at there job, food good set up on mezzanine gallery, plenty of seating. Enjoyed by all.

We went on a Saturday night at 8pm. We were virtually the only people there. A large screen tv was on playing the football for the staff. The staff were pleasant but clearly wanted to shut up shop for the night. The food was okay but nothing amazing. It’s not close to the buzz of town so maybe it’s better in the day with business trade. Overall a bit disappointing.

I found this restaurant through Google search and I’m really glad I did! It’s a very welcoming restaurant with amazing service and you can’t beat the food! I was surprised with how well priced everything is! The restaurant is set up really well, very classy

I booked Kayla Brasserie for a dinner for 37 persons participating in a golf weekend in Bournemouth. Tracy was very helpful if allowing each person to pre-order from a wide menu and in arranging the booking. The food was very good, particularly considering that 37 meals had to be served at the same time. The restaurant coped well with my party and were very understanding when we started telling jokes, albeit that all other guests had left by that time! The cost was very reasonable and I would happily revisit Kayla when next in Bournemouth.

We stopped in Kayla after walking all over the city and it was a perfect quiet oasis from the noisy tourist areas nearby. Their drink selection was nice and the service was a little slow, but fine. They were more welcoming of (non-British) tourists than many of the local establishments in the area, for which we were grateful. Thank you for a lovely experience!

My wife and I were visiting Bournemouth and looking for a good and reasonably priced restaurant. We were shopping menu's and found Kayla's menu offering a good selection. Food and service were great!

Staying at Langtry Manor Hotel for a few days. Selected eating places in advance using TripAdvisor. The Brasserie had good reviews and was a quick 10 minute walk away. Booked online. Greeted and seated well. My wife and I were both hungry. First we ordered 2 large Pinot Grigios. Very refreshing and fruity. My wife doesn’t always do starters claiming they spoil her main. So unfortunately I had to share my mezze. Lovely bread, hummus, olives, jalapeño and salad. For mains my wife had the Salmon Penne and I went for the Cannelloni rich with Spinach. For dessert my wife said she didn’t want anything but tucked in to my Stem Ginger pudding with ice cream. The dessert selection was first class. We were served very professionally by Tracy who owns the restaurant with her husband. My wife and I chatted to her after the meal. Have to say the food was excellent. The previous reviews were spot on.

We visit Bournemouth as a family often and have been to Kaylas many many times! The food is great we find it hard to choose every evening because there are so many dishes we love, and the service is always warm and friendly. 10/10 once again!

My wife and I were staying at a hotel in Bournemouth, and we wanted to try something a bit different from the hotel restaurant. Out walking, we came across this little gem. It's on a street with some pubs that can get a bit noisy in the evening, but we were pleasantly surprised by how classy it is. The first evening we went in, around five o'clock, we happened to be the only ones there for a while. We ordered a seafood and a beef dish, which were excellent. The staff were really friendly, and helped us with our choices. The wines were excellent, and the desserts were splendid. We liked the place so much, we went back the next evening, and our meals were just as wonderful. We would have gone back a third time, but we left Bournemouth the next day. If you're looking for a super little restaurant, with a wonderful decor and ambience, you won't find better than Kayla.

It was a cold wet windy summer night outside but the moment you walked into Kayla you felt the warmth of a great italian influenced Bistro.

Great restaurant. Can’t fault it . Always pleased, great food and great staff. Fantastic gem of a place. It’s terms of local restaurants it is one of Bournemouth’s best.

Had a family meal here with our children. The menu was varied and catered for all. Really liked the fact the kids meals were a small version of an adults meal rather than second rate much.

Recently ate at this restaurant while on vacation. Nice upscale place, beautiful decoration, great service and food. I had the lamb shank which was delicious and would recommend. They are open for lunch and dinner and have outdoor patio seating and a bar. Will be back!

Had a great evening again at Kaylas. Food was excellent and the service was top notch. Bacon Burger and the Spaghetti Carbonara were popular choices with our group and the restaurant didn't disappoint.

I met a friend here tonight who has recently gone through a difficult time. It was perfect to sit outside in the sunshine away from the hustle and bustle, have a drink and just talk. Her husband joined us and we had some food.. lovely as always... perfect service and just a great evening. Looking forward to next time. A hidden gem.. don't miss out.

We visited from LA , and found amazing food at this nice place i had great salad and pizza and my wife had fantastic lamb shank , i do recommend Kayla restaurant to everyone love you guys great food.

Decepcionante primera visita a restaurante local. Pizza meditareana, verdura de canalone y pasta napapolitana para niños muy sosa. Pizza Express Canalone mucho mejor. Es barato, pero si quieres algo con gusto en Bournemouth, en mi experiencia, es mejor que vayas a la mayoría de los otros restaurantes, incluidas las grandes cadenas.

Solid pizza game. Great setting. Comfortable seats. Watch the world go by from the outdoor seating area. Would come again.

We have been visiting Kayla for many years now and have never been disappointed. A family birthday lunch time visit on this occasion. Drinks at the bar followed by three courses and a bottle of wine. All four of us thought the food and service were excellent and great value. We will see you again soon.

Lovely interior and warm friendly staff but as the place was very quiet you’d expect better attention from the chef. The tomatoes in the salad were hard. Appetizer Olives weren’t marinated just really tasteless. Yet olives in salad and on pizza were nice. Good wine, pizza toppings were generous, amazing cheesy garlic bread. A good bolognese should have a rich tasty tomato base. Prawns weren’t very fresh and unusually fishy odour. Sundaes / puddings were great. A real mix bag. Unfortunately as we left we found a mass group of paralectic uni students congregating outside and three of them urinating openly against the restaurant side wall. (Not the restaurant fault I appreciate). But not something I needed my kids to see and explain. I hope the restaurant will have the opportunity to address with the university

Thought we had walked into an 80's disco bar. The service was good but the food quality questionable. My steak was dry. We visited on a tuesday which was certainly a quiet day for this resturant given only 2 tables occupied all night.

Found this place simply searching for somewhere close that had gluten free options available. So glad we chose it. The food was absolutely delicious, including the gluten free pasta and dessert. So often the gluten free choice is limited, but good options at this place. Highly recommended.

Had a lovely mid week dinner here. The pizza was a classic, and the Mediterranean salad beautifully presented with very tasty fresh ingredients. Starters and desserts also delicious. Would definitely recommend this friendly stylish brasserie.

Don’t be fooled by the outside look! On the inside this restaurant is so classy and well decorated. The staff are friendly and attentive. Food is great value for money. The steak was sooo tender and portions very generous. Five star food at affordable prices.

Visited for an evening meal with the rest of our Relationship team. Not very busy, but it was a Tuesday night. Really good food, and helpful staff. I had a sirloin steak, cooked to perfection. Really enjoyed the meal, and looking forward to returning.

We keep returning for a number of reasons: Excellent and tasty food which is served well, great service, modern surroundings, good menu selection and very good value. My husband and I held our joint 4oth birthday party at Kayla. We had private use of the venue for 80 people with a buffet. Tracy couldn't have been more helpful during the 12 month lead up to our party. Nothing was too much trouble. They accommodated our slide show, memory booth and the fact we wanted a singer rather than the house DJ.

I had bean to this venue for a birthday celebration which was really enjoyable, great friendly atmosphere, brilliant entertainment, and a lovely buffet. I was so impressed I book a table for an evening meal with my family, the food was really impressive, i’m Really hard to impress when it comes to steak but mine was delicious (medium rare, spot on) we also had a pasta dish, salmon dish and a burger all fantastic and the thick double fried chips, gorgeous, Thank You for a wonderful evening ❤️

Visited friends in Bournemouth and popped as we heard there is a special for £10/main. It was really nice, had the lamb shank, then even returned for a second meal the following day. Lovely setting, waitress lady was very attentive.

A further return visit to this friendly and trendy restaurant. This time on Valentines and it was duly decorated with red balloons, hearts and red roses creating a fitting atmosphere. Cocktails at the bar before a three course meal accompanied by a very reasonably priced bottle of wine. As usual the food and service were of an excellent quality. Unhurried with time to relax and enjoy. We can't stop going back.

Had the best steak we have ever tasted, full of flavour and so tender. Staff were polite and friendly and the atmosphere relaxing. Would definitely eat here again.

I visited Kaylas on my own and the owners and staff were so friendly and accommodating. The food was absolutely excellent. I would definately recommended the Kayla special pizza. I will definitely visit again. Thanks for the experience!!

We have lost count of the number of times we have visited this restaurant and have to say that the standards are as excellent today as they have been for years. The food is excellent and cooked fresh, the service is excellent and it retains that 'I'm glad to be here atmosphere'. It is also very good value. Will be BACK AGAIN SOON!

Work away in the week but was back early this week so went to my favourite restaurant for lunch. Had a Caesar salad, it was fantastic & really good value for money. Fantastic staff always Well done Kayla, keep it up.

We visit Bournemouth several times a year and always visit Kaylas several times during our break. Family friendly and welcoming. The food is always fresh and delicious and the service is great. Absolutely love this place !

I visited this place twice, once for lunch and once for dinner. The decoration is very tasteful and elegant but the prices are affordable and the portions are large - a pleasant surprise. We were in a hurry at lunch and the staff was very considerate and helpful about this. They have a good variety of salads to choose from and boy, were they excellent salads! For dinner we had the lamb and the seabass, both very, very delicious and I will definitely come back here for more!
