Drgnfly Champagne & Sushi Bar @bobbys in Bournemouth

Try updating your website, this restaurant has closed down!! We took a taxi from sandbanks for a boozy Friday lunch, your company website says the restaurant is still open………it isn’t, it does not even exist! Never dining at any of your facilities again! Obviously you don’t care about us, the customer. Waste of time, waste of money!

My Dad and I had a FANTASTIC experience here- we’ve eaten Sushi all over the world- and We thought this Sushi was some of the BEST we’d EVER eaten. Service was Brilliant too. Go for the Rolls you won’t be disappointed- A very talented Chef with (at last) a high Standard.

Sadly not what it used to be, the service is still good but it's always empty and they seem to be lacking a lot of the more expensive fish from the menu, the spicy sake roll wasn't spicy and have far too much crispy onion on it however the other rolls were of usual high standard. We will come back if it remains open

Absolutely fabulous food, service and ambiance. Ok it was only a cheeky catch up with a friend for lunch on a Monday so it wasn’t buzzing, but this place is an absolute hidden gem. Located on the ground floor of what used to be Debenhams and now Bobby’s in Bournemouth this place can easily be missed as it is tucked in the corner and covered in pink blossom - but if you live sushi find this place!! Staff are excellent and very helpful and very attentive and we will definitely be going back hopefully very very soon. And then have a stroll around this authentic and eclectic new store right in the heart Bournemouth.

Another lovely visit, love the new cocktails and we had the black cod special roll, which was delicious. Its a great place to pop into for lunch and the service is always attentive

The decor and atmosphere are excellent (it reminded us of our trips to Harrods). The staff were attentive and knowledgeable. The food was of the highest quality. Although a bit pricey, you get what you pay for. Five Stars!

My husband booked this restaurant as he knew I was excited about Bobbys opening and we had read the reviews about dragnfly and as I love sushi. My husband doesn’t like sushi! ( well not until now ) it was amazing! Our waiter Aidan was very knowledgeable about the menu and recommended some dishes. The price was very reasonable too. Please see the photos. I can’t recommend this place enough!

Had a wonderful lunch here. My husband and I had the £25 Drgnfly Platter for 2 - Chef selection of Sashimi, aburi & maki roll. The sashimi is so vibrant and fresh. The plate beautifully decorated. We also had edamame with sea salt, Buta and Ebi steamed dumplings, Maguro Tataki - a lightly seared sashimi grade tuna, wakame salad with ginger & soy dressing. Delicious! We ordered just enough to weren’t too full and finished off sharing green tea mochi. For drinks we each had a pot of green tea and I had a delicious cocktail called Kabutsu which contains Kwai Feh, Apple Juice, Chambord, and Cava. The atmosphere is quite pretty but small compared to their Poole location. The Bobby & Co department store looks quite new still but we shopped around afterwards and bought a couple of things. Good location to visit. I’d recommend.

Best lunch - such a good addition to Bournemouth. Great selection to choose from. The interior is lovely. The pork dumplings were my favourite. Very much enjoyed can’t to come again.

This really is the perfect spot for meeting up with friends for lunch, a lovely atmosphere, great service and in the centre of town. All the staff were lovely and Jen was able to recommend dishes to us - each of which were presented beautifully and great tasting. I would definitely recommend going with the staff suggestions to get the most out of your visit - the dumplings in particular were amazing! Drgnfly will definitely be a place I visit again when I am next shopping or meeting up with friends in town, and it would be a great place for a lunch date too.

Been waiting for something like this in Bournemouth for a while. Great location, amazing restaurant quality sushi, and brilliant service. Jen our server was great! Try the Hells Kitchen Rolls.

We have been so well looked after by hosts Jen and Aidan, with wonderful recommendations and the food has been just delicious.
