Horizon Restaurant in Bournemouth

We came as a group of friends to celebrate a few birthdays, due to the amount of us we had a pre order food which was no problem. Despite preordering it took 2 hours to receive our main meals, two of the preordered dinners were not available but only got notified of this after an hour and then the replacement orders were wrong. If they were not able to accommodate a table of 24 then they should not of taken on the order, all we was offered was 10% off and the unavailable meals taken off in the end they took off 15% as apparently this is all they could remove as they were not the managers. It still worked out at £24 a head which I think is ridiculous considering the service. I would never wait two hours for a main meal if I was in a smaller group I would of walked out but because they said they would compensate we waited only to find out this compensation was £3.50 each (less than what I had to pay on an extra hour parking) the staff were good but I wouldn’t say they were overly apologetic. Very disappointed as this was a special occasion and it made us late for our evening entertainment. Definitely won’t be coming back

Food was delicious. drinks were delicious. the portions were just the right size and the deserts were very nice as well. we definitely will be coming back

Me and some friends went to Nala lounge on a Saturday evening. The hospitality was great, they extended a table to accommodate 8 of us and brought us our food and shishas in no time at all. Food is really good and shishas are probably as cheap as you can find in Bournemouth. There was a photographer taking pictures of some food & drinks for their social media, I assume, and a member of staff, Cat/Kat was kind enough to give us the food & drinks for free after they were finished shooting it, what a nice gesture! Would recommend Nala lounge to anyone, and will be back again.

Booked a table for a Saturday evening with friends for dinner, perhaps would try again on a different day and time. The restaurant was very busy and turned into a nightclub as we arrived. We didn’t wait long to be able to order, the 2 person platter which comes with 2 sides was plenty for 3 or even 4. The food was delicious, perfectly cooked and well presented. Downsides, Staff were unorganised. Someone brought a coffee to our table mistakenly which we hadn’t ordered, it was taken away but did appear on the bill which we asked to have removed. Ordered single measure drinks, charged for doubles. Plates left for a long time before clearing. Tables are bare and there is no real thought put into the decor or layout of the restaurant. Lots of large birthday parties and hen/stag parties that time of evening which are loud so if you prefer a quieter dining experience, definitely book for midweek or earlier on a weekend.

What a great find! We had looked at some restaurant reviews before visiting Bournemouth and liked the look of this one. Was even better when we realised that it was just across the road from our hotel. The food was out of this world, super tasty and plentiful - we shared a hoummus starter and a Mixed Grill Platter.

I have been to Nala lounge a few times and every time the food is impeccable, the vibe is great, and the staff are amazing. We had two lovely ladies who made our day- Cat and Boyana who were so attentive and made the experience even better as they looked after us so well. Thank you Nala lounge, we will 100% always come back!
