What a fabulous experience! After visiting the Castle and seeing the picturesque small town of Eton we fancied a French meal. We were not disappointed!
Our staters were classic escargot in the shell and roasted octopus with strawberry purée and lightly fried gnocchi (the daily special). Both were excellent and we were so pleased we both (my spouse and I) had ear to ear smiles after we finished that course.
For our mains my wife had the bacon wrapped pork roulade and I had the duck breast with stewed strawberries in on orange infused sauce that was to die for. The duck breast was perfectly cooked to a rare temperature and was so tender the knife seemed superfluous. The skin was crispy and the fat was expertly rendered to reveal a taste that pleased my palate to no end. It was accompanied by potatoes dauphinase cooked with just the right amount of garlic and cream. My dish was paired with a glass of negramarro primativo from apulia , recommended by our fantastic server, Michael. He, and the other staff were experts at their craft who never hovered but were there the moment we needed them. Our deserts were marvelous as well. My wife had the "Eton Mess" which was chantilly cream, strawberries and meringue in a chalice , very much like a deconstructed pavlova, out of this world taste! I had a simple affogato that ended what we both agreed was the best meal we have had 5 weeks into our 7 week vacation.
The wonderful staff, led by an incredible expert chef are to be commended for a spectacular culinary experience. We will come back and we will pass the word, if you are in Eton you must eat there, not to be missed!!
I only wish I took more photos but I was so busy eating I forgot, Mia culpa.
This place rakes in the business from the lads at Eton College and I do think the woman behind the counter (owner's wife?) could crack a smile and be much more friendly to her (mostly young) customers, to be honest. She acted as if I was putting her out when ordering and spoilt the experience with my family on what was a busy Saturday afternoon - and very good business for them. The milkshakes are far too sweet also.
We stopped by after visiting family and our new Grandson. The food is great, the service is great and so is the atmosphere. We will certainly visit again. Best Sütlaç I,ve ever had. Thanks for an amazing experience.
We had a great dinner and if we lived locally we would definitely be regulars. Interesting menu and so much better than the usual chains. Warm welcome and specials of the day were explained. Service was friendly and professional. We both had great authentic French food - my wife's duck breast was particularly good.
Next time we are in Windsor we will definitely be back...
Great spot for a quick bit to eat. The Husband and Wife owners are lovely and the food is super fresh, they are constantly coming up with new recipes and dishes!
Keeps getting better. Every visit gets better and better. The specials are always our go to, the goats cheese starter is amazing and so is the carpaccio. Service is always top class

Living in Harringay — the heart of Turkish cuisine in the UK — and having sampled plenty of fantastic Turkish food over the years, I have to say this was a very enjoyable meal. Although the portion sizes were fairly small, the meats were perfectly cooked and beautifully seasoned, the breads were delicious, and overall, it was a very good experience.
That said, slightly larger portions would be an improvement, especially considering the meals are a little pricier than what I'm used to for Turkish food. Adding some grilled peppers and tomatoes — particularly to dishes like the mixed grill — would also really elevate the plates.
One small gripe: serving Efes from cans and charging full pint prices feels a little cheap. A draught pump or even sticking to the barrel-shaped Efes bottles would give a much better impression.
No comment needed – the calzone served here is simply outstanding. Perfectly baked, rich in flavour, and truly unbeatable. One of the best I’ve ever had – I’ll definitely be coming back for more!
We tried Meat At The Parish last night and was very impressed. One of the best Ribeyes I have had for a long time cooked to perfection.
Excellent staff and service and relaxed atmosphere.
Highly recommended for steak lovers.
A major plus for choosing this restaurant was that it doesn't allow kids under the age of 10 in. (very good idea)
Only issue was the parking in Windsor. Be careful as some of the car parks are an absolute rip off.
There is limited road parking outside the restaurant.
If you want authentic Greek/Cypriot cuisine then you must go eat there - trust me I’m Cypriot & I will definitely be going back there to feast! Greg the owner was so lovely and made us so very welcome - you can’t beat Cypriot hospitality - thank you Greg!!
The food is delicious!!!
