Antalya Restaurant Windsor in Windsor and Maidenhead

Living in Harringay — the heart of Turkish cuisine in the UK — and having sampled plenty of fantastic Turkish food over the years, I have to say this was a very enjoyable meal. Although the portion sizes were fairly small, the meats were perfectly cooked and beautifully seasoned, the breads were delicious, and overall, it was a very good experience. That said, slightly larger portions would be an improvement, especially considering the meals are a little pricier than what I'm used to for Turkish food. Adding some grilled peppers and tomatoes — particularly to dishes like the mixed grill — would also really elevate the plates. One small gripe: serving Efes from cans and charging full pint prices feels a little cheap. A draught pump or even sticking to the barrel-shaped Efes bottles would give a much better impression.

We chose this place for dinner and were disappointed. We did not feel Turkish hospitality. The prices are high but nothing tasty, the portions are small (in the photo they look big). We were hungry and bought some Turkish flatbread to fill up. There was very little bulgur on the plate, a tiny salad and very little spare ribs (more bones than meat). The burger for 17 pounds is no different from what you get in the shops. Everything is cooked without soul. Calculated for the flow of people. I advise everyone to move on. There are many cafes with lower prices. Especially the Chinese buffet where you pay 10 pounds and eat whatever you want. In this restaurant in Antalya we left more than 100 pounds and ended up eating flatbread. We felt cheated. I do not recommend! Expensive for very small dishes that are not really very tasty.

Had a fantastic meal at Antalya—the veggie meze platter was full of flavor, and my friend’s chicken and lamb dish was delicious. Service was excellent, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the wine was fairly priced. Couldn’t fault a thing. Highly recommend!

What a fantastic meal! Being somewhat of a 'specialist' in what a good kebab looks and tastes like, it's always a challenge when I go out to a Mediterranean inspired restaurant. This is, without a shadow of a doubt, the best kebab that you will have in the entire Windsor area and, unless you have had experience of homemade traditional Greek/Turkish food, the best kebab that you will likely ever have had. Moist meats, beautifully cooked, simply prepared and well presented. What more can you ask. Including starters, a glass of red wine coffee and some baklava to finish the evening, around £45 per head - which represents reasonable value for money, too. Service was fabulous - friendly without being intrusive - speedy delivery of those wonderful meals was also unexpected given the obvious quality. A++

Food here was exceptional. Came through as a group of 9. All the food was served together and no order was wrong. The lamb was cooked to perfection.

Absolutely delectable food! It’s a notch up in terms of dining experience compared to a regular Turkish restaurant you would go to so don’t expect complimentary salad etc. I would definitely recommend. Would go back again. Special thanks to Thomas and his colleague for being so warm and friendly. The candy they give in the end with bill is amazing! Loved that little treat! Would be great to find it to shop really! We also had a little chat about the prominence of pomegranate in Turkish cuisine and the seasoning that goes on the salad which they were very forthcoming to share! It’s was a great weekend experience! If you are in Windsor, definitely give it a go!

Dropped in for lunch with my wife during a visit to Windsor. Thoroughly enjoyed several meze dishes between us. Also came a couple of years ago with family and wasn't disappointed then or now. Highly recommended.

I went to this restaurant as a day trip to Windsor looking for decent halal food, I was so happy to have found this restaurant! The ambience of the restaurant gave us a great first impression, it was decorated very nicely (great for pictures). The food was really good and the turkish tea with turkish delight was a great end to our meal. The service was really good, with the owners being very friendly.

We hadn't seen the reviews on Antalya before we walked by and selected it for lunch on a whim during our trip to Windsor Castle. We were so happy that we did! Lovely owner, good atmosphere and fantastic food (the Baklava is heaven on earth!). We felt we found an authentic gem among some of Windsor's more commercial establishments. Highly recommended!

We visited the Antalys Restaurant Windsor on a Saturday evening. No issue getting a last minute reservation. The restaurant is very comfortable. Staff were fantastic; warm, friendly, and so polite. They are a real treat. The food was incredible; very tasty, and enough to eat. Great value for money. So pleased we visited, and we are already planning a return. Highly recommend.

Very nice Turkish dishes. Restaurant is 10 mins walking distance from Windsor Castle. I parked at Windsor Railway Station car park which is 15 mins walking distance from the restaurant.

Great little Turkish restaurant, slightly or of the 'main' party of Windsor but easy to find. Food was fantastic, 2 had mixed grill and 2 had souvlaki. Staff were very friendly (even brought me out a cake for my 50th). Would definitely go again if in Windsor

Tasty but the portion size was very small for the cost (£20) Ordered a combination grill of chicken Shish & lamb. Just 3 chunks of chicken and one 5 inch lamb skewer. Left feeling hungry.

Fantastic freshly prepared chicken sish. Great atmosphere whether seated inside or out. Would definitely say that this place would beat any major chain for Mediterranean cuisine which is what we ordered. I'm assuming the rest of the menu is to the same high standard. One of the best meals I had while traveling in the UK

What a wonderful restaurant! We needed lunch while waiting for some car repairs and found the restaurant nearby. The lamb and chicken were tender and well seasoned. The tomato sauce which was served with the pan fried prawns was spectacular. We dipped the complementary pita bread in it and ate it all up. Definitely recommend this restaurant!

I would rate this place as possibly the best Turkish restaurant in terms of quality and taste in and around London. This is tucked at the very end of the high street. We went on a Wednesday afternoon and as it was quieter than usual, we got full attention of the owner who served us personally. We had a 3 course a la carte meal and tried the Borek and Dolma as starters, Adana kabab, Moussaka and Grilled Turkish sausage with Halloumi in mains and finished off with Baklava and Turkish Coffee as dessert. Without exaggeration, I’ll rate each of the items 10/10. The baklavas were simply out of the world! And last but not the least, the service was super friendly. We can’t wait to go back!

A must try here in Windsor. Their kebab is super good and the lamb chops are juicy. Rice and humus are especially tasty. Great to have baklava after main dish. Love it all!!!

Amazing food and service, 5 stars!

I wish I took a picture of the food, but we were so hungry and came here on a whim because of all the good reviews, and they did not disappoint. The service was excellent, family run business, they take care of their customers. I got the prawn tempura, calamari and chicken bayti (which isn’t on their menu, but if you ask they might be able to do it for you, I was lucky that they did!!). I’d recommend this place if you’re from the are, visiting or passing by - we’ll deffo be back!

Antalya’s is a very nice venue. The staff are accomodating, they let us in even when the kitchen was about to close. The food was amazing. Definitely recommend the hummus as an entree.

I decided to go with family for a change to turkish restaurant. I followed the restaurant process so i reserved table for 3 on weekend early evening. We were not even welcomed properly seemed like they wanted us in and quickly out. Everytime had to call for service was a task because they were never looking felt like we were in a dark spot. The drinks were half empty glasses, starters came in which were average and then mains where i felt looted and mixed grill normally it is a big platter but it was few pieces just a small plate for 1 where it is normally for 3 people. Then we just rushed to get before it downhillwhich was clear from the bill they charged for a dish that never reached the table and had the guts for the service charge when it was very clear that on saturday they should appoint more waiters rather than 2 men who can't do their job properly and hygiene was embarassing they were cleaning glasses while having fingers inside them. Never going back

Excellent authentic Turkish food which was delicious. I had the veggie mezze starter as a main which was plenty for one person and my partner had the mixed grill. A bit pricey, but worth it for a nice treat.

What more can you ask for from a restaurant than this, the food is fantastic and so tasty, booked a table online and enjoyed this experience with my wife after a great days racing at Royal Ascot. Mixed Grill is amazing and the lamb is absolutely delicious and full of flavour. If you’re in Windsor then I highly recommend this restaurant it’s fantastic!

Starters: We had the tempura prawns but they were just ok. They were quite skinny and didn't have a lot of 'meat' inside of it. Would not recommend, but I'm sure their other starters are nice Main: I had the mixed meat with bulgar wheat which was really nice. Meat and chicken were very tender and came fresh and hot Overall the experience was nice

Very good food, friendly atmosphere, short wait times. They serve free chai (Turkish Tea). The Adana Kebab is delicious, and the bulgur on the side is wonderful. The baklava is served with vanilla ice cream, and the mix is perfect.

We frinds went there with our kids. After we had ordered, One of the waiter/owner came to our table and very rudely said that we need to keep our kids quite and to make sure that the lil ones dont cry,otherwise we have to leave as other people will get offended. We were like wth, how can we keep our kids mouths shut????? It was veryyyy rude of him. We asked for another basket of bread which he literally threw in front of our faces. We had no other choice as to finish the food. The bill was £215. I haven't seen ever as rude person as he was. This restaurant has veryyyyy poor service. The food was just ok for which we were charged £215.
